NYRA Bets - Horse Race Betting Reviews

I signed up for this and successfully transferred $20 into my NYRA account via EFT (electronic funds transfer) from my bank. This was on Sept 3. So I know the connection between my bank and NYRA was successful. On Sept. 5 (Derby day) I transferred $100. My NYRA account showed the funds there. I placed two $50 bets. These bets both show in my NYRA account. I won one bet for $470, which shows in my NYRA account balance. NYRA also continued to allow me to utilize funds in my account to place a smaller bet for just a few dollars that I also won very small amount on. However, NYRA will not allow me to transfer (withdraw) funds back to my bank stating I could not do so because I had not made previously successful EFT. Clearly I have as my bank account shows this, but only for the $20 deposit. There was at least one other complaint at BBB (I did not read them all) of a customer having a similar experience. I checked my bank account and could not see the $100 deposit I made to NYRA, even though NYRA allowed me to utilize the $100 deposit to place bets on Sept 5. Did I LOSE $470 due to a technical glitch with NYRA or some intentional conduct? Right from the gate, as a new customer I DO NOT TRUST this company and will be ending my business with them if this is not successfully resolved.

Making last minute bets is risky with NYRA. Upcoming races, which should be the soonest post times are rarely correct. I have numerous screen shots of later races displaying a post time ahead of the upcoming race. This cost me several wins. Called customer service numerous times, was told it was my fault for not verifying my bets. In essence, they’re right, it is my fault but I also would like to trust that they are able to post correct post times. They blamed the tracks feed even though I explained that mo other platform has this issue. I was on hold for nearly an hour (waiting to speak to a supervisor that never picked up) the last time I called. Also have screenshots to prove this. Was finally assured I would receive a return call from a supervisor. That call never came. My suggestion, while iffy, is to suffer through until u get ur sign up bonus and then move on to a reputable wagering platform. 👎👎

NYRA bets it’s the best way to bet and watch live racing. NYRABets is the most intuitive and easy to follow. Betting large sequences is very easy and quick, where as others require much more time and are also rather confusing. The ancillary information that you want such as will pays, probables and pool amounts are also easily accessible without having to navigate away from your selected track or bet. if you fund NYRA acct with credit card, you can only withdraw money by emailing Support for a check to be mailed to you. no one at the track (Belmont in my case) knew how to give you money at track (which NYRA site offers), and the 17 year old who picks up the NYRA customer service phone gives you an email address to email your license jpeg and checking acct and routing numbers to to get a check mailed to you. i’m not upset by the gymnastics per se, but by the fact that the credit card funding option doesn’t prepare you for the gymnastics whatsoever. it’s convenient up front for NYRA, and it doesn’t make a difference to them how things turn out for you.

NYRA is solid. Its gambling you Win some you Lose some. They have always protected my personal information. This is gambling so if you can’t take losing a few don’t play. They give you a great opportunity to Win a ton of cash on a safe secure site!!

Well, losing is never fun, but that’s why they call it gambling. I’ve never had any issues depositing or withdrawing money. Withdrawing money, it almost always shows up in my bank acct the very next day. It’s fun and exciting.

NYRABets is 5 stars when it’s working. The problem is it freezes many times during the course of a wagering day. When that happens you have to delete NYRABets and download it again. Most of us start engaging an app when we bet and that’s frequently just before post time. So when it freezes you get shut out. It’s maddening to say the least.

I’m sorry, but it’s not a “Lucrative Reward Program”, in fact it’s garbage, probably the worst I’ve seen. The HD Video also isn’t up to par as it often freezes / crashes (and no, it’s not my network). Ease of Betting and Honest payouts give this site a C+. Start rewarding your current members better before they flock for better rewards.

DO NOT GET NYRABets
I downloaded NYRABets because they had a promo of a deposit match during the Kentucky Derby. I never received it in the first place so I was contacting support for about 2 months. I never heard anything back from them until I inquired for the 100th time 2 months later and they were not willing to help. Get twin spires instead.

Very happy with the interface and functionality of NYRABets. Finally can place bets in real time off track from my phone.

Really stupid app. They dont let you create an account unless you print out paperwork and mail it to them. What kind of an app needs that whole process? I literally just want to watch the races since for some reason you all decided to stop NYRA now and i have to jump through hoops for it. Its absolutely ridiculous!!

NYRABets has become stupid cause if go to another another page on your IPhone , it’ll sign me out, and lately all the time and I might be back& forth between looking at PP’s and the entries on the NYRA page and I gotta log in all over again

NYRABets is very unreliable. I have had a NYRA account for many years. I got a smart phone and tried this (instead of my computer) and found NYRABets to work about 30% of the time at best. Too bad because I am not moving from NYRA

I have $166 in my account that I would like to withdraw. NYRABets instructed me to set up a direct deposit with a successful deposit to withdraw. I added $40 to my account but I still cannot withdraw. Typical New York; they are fast enough to take my money but hard to access my money.

The slogan isn’t true I’m on vacation in Maine and cannot bet here on the Derby. So, anywhere, anytime isn’t accurate. I’m very disappointed because you can’t bet ahead of the day so we’re stuck.

Sometimes I want to bet, and when I open NYRABets it just shows a white screen. It is so annoying. Happens too often. Giving 2 stars because NYRABets is not reliable.

Prolly going elsewhere. Belmont stakes app and online crashed. Opening weekend at Belmont app and online crashed. Belmont is a NYRA track. You’d think they’d have their stuff together. There’s plenty of other horse racing apps I can give my money to. Customer service on above issues non existent.

Let’s me bet anywhere and I can watch two racetracks at the same time and I think this is the only betting app that accepts Apple Pay!

The site is easy to use and well developed, but the odds fluctuation from their specific close of betting to race time is ridiculous. Constantly running into betting 6/1 or 7/1 as they load and the actual price being 2/1 or down to 6/5. Makes “value betting” practically impossible

NYRA Bets finally came out with an app - and I'm so glad they did. Easy to use - gets the job done - love it.

Can’t access my account to place wager ! Why did you change this ? Very frustrating keep getting full screen NYRA. How do I get to my account ?

App is very laggy, cuts in and out, slow. Pretty pathetic for how much $ they take in. They could do so much better
