I like MyPasswordsManager other than the fact that I recently purchased a new phone and there seems to be no way to transfer over my passwords. I even paid $5 to upgrade to the pro version but was told I would have to upgrade my old phone as well for another $5. What a scam. I asked for a refun as none of the other features are useful to me. If they refund my purchase I will adjust my rating accordingly.

I’ve had this password app for about 2 years and it was great at first had no trouble with it at all. Then my iPhone 6 did it’s updates and when I tried to get into my passwords it asked for me to reset my password. When I did that it wouldn’t submit my new password to get into MyPasswordsManager . I’ve tried it multiple times so I decided to delete MyPasswordsManager then re-download it to see if I could reset my password that way. But NOPE, now I don’t have any of my passwords.

I’ve had MyPasswordsManager for three years and suddenly I’m unable to access anything. I cannot log in with biometrics, nor my password. Everything is lost, including passwords that I have stored for my elderly parents.

Update: This is the response I received from the developer.
Dear user, if you don’t insert your password correctly, we cannot support you further as it is you obligation to remember the master password. We don’t have access on that as if we would, MyPasswordsManager wouldn’t be secure. We have extended though the period of allowing you using the Biometrics. Keep in mind either to see your master password or to upgrade. "

I set up MyPasswordsManager , keep entering the PW and it tells me it is wrong. I kept screen shot in my notes since they tell you there is no way to recover the master PW (which in itself is ridiculous)
It tried to do the reset password but MyPasswordsManager tells me the info is incorrect. Considering I never entered a PW into it since I downloaded it yesterday...not sure how the answers can be wrong.

Useless

I had been using MyPasswordsManager for a long time now. After the new upgrade it asked me to put in my password. I put in my master password and it wouldn’t open. I contacted support for assistant and Niko tried to help me but was unable to determine what the problem was and therefor all my passwords are lost. The point of MyPasswordsManager is to be able to access your passwords immediately and to have a place where all your passwords are stored. I now have none of my passwords and basically was told “sorry”.

I just purchased Family Pro, not sure why! MyPasswordsManager is very underdeveloped, not easy to figure out, it has no instructions, i have ‘pocket’ which used to wallet, but the developer stop updating it, that was (is) the best password app, shame is no longer available, plus it was never available for Iphones. Hence why I’m stuck with this one on my iphone. 🤨

With the new update MyPasswordsManager just made, some users are being required to re-enter their master password. Even after entering the password correctly it still won’t allow access and now I have to re-collect all of my passwords because I can’t get back in.

I love MyPasswordsManager and what it does it is is my brain! But I used to be able to login with my face, and now I cannot do that. I hate having to type in a pin every time!! it gets annoying! Makes me want to look for a different one that uses face recognization! Other than that, I love MyPasswordsManager it’s simple and easy to use!

An app update removed my settings and now I can’t use my fingerprint to unlock MyPasswordsManager . Can no longer access anything. Absolutely useless

Edit - Gave back a couple stars because of the developers swift response. The new update does allow access using the fingerprint long enough for me to update settings and find what I need

I loved MyPasswordsManager but it prompted me to change my password and I have been able to sign on since, now it will not let me do anything. I went to MyPasswordsManager Store to see if I could download again but it just give you the option to open. I not only keep my passwords on MyPasswordsManager but also important information. So do I just need to delete MyPasswordsManager and find something new???? I downloaded MyPasswordsManager on my iPad of course it just says open? What now?

I am enjoying the password app. On the last i had, the developer stopped maintaining it. My only problem is it does not let you transfer to another device without additional payment.

Has become a real help as the need for privacy and security has increased. It was too much trouble to change my passwords often enough to be absolutely secure. That was until I got hacked and many of my passwords were obtained. Now with this tool I’m able to maintain a regular schedule of changing passwords with a lot less effort.

MyPasswordsManager failed and I was not able to access my passwords. It would not open. I emailed the developer and he worked real hard and communicated the whole time until it was resolved. Very happy customer!!

I use MyPasswordsManager on a daily basis for over four years Never let me down nor gave me any hassle. Thanks to all who created it!

Great simple app to use with all the features you need. I’ve tried other similar apps but they have too many extra features that make MyPasswordsManager clumsy to use. Support is awesome! You can get in touch with the developer and he gets back to you right away.

I love being able to keep track of not only my passwords, but my families as well. They are always asking me what their passwords are. I told you it didn’t I, uh, no. Lol.

Had at least a dozen passwords in it today face Recognition did not work had to put in a password and then all my stuff is gone

——-Pros

Imported to couple of new phones no issues love how export has options not encrypted or encrypted due to me the first time forgetting the password to login into this, I use faceID and before was fingerprint which logs me in without typing the password while this password was very Unique I forgotten password.

To solve I checked the export options and very pleased with the Unencrypted data export.

——Cons——kinda more so with Layer 8 issues— lol

Only issue is I didn’t figure out how to switch backup storage since I used DropBox in the past moving it iCloud was my goal but simply moving files over didn’t work.

Lost everything in my phone due to the phone carrier. Re-downloaded MyPasswordsManager entered my password and everything is gone. I thought that was the whole idea that if lost you could log and get it. Very disappointed it has been a hassle to say the least. The old version worked on facial recognition and this one does not. I’m having to stop and log every time I need a password who wants that. so I’ll be looking for something better that won’t lose all my passwords
