The third bad experience in raw with this app

This time I booked a trip from Dahab to Cairo and I went to the meeting point in Dahab before my ride starts with 10 minutes, the driver didn’t answer for 20 minutes while Swvl showed bus arrived and trip starting.

I texted this app customer service and they said “We are sorry and we will take the proper actions to avoid such cases happening again. You will be refunded and you can book a new ride.

My previous experience was that I booked a trip from Cairo to Dahab, they canceled my trip and booked me another one that should move 2 hours early. i was randomly checking Swvl to review my trip when i suddenly found my trip canceled and i should get prepared to catch the new trip as it’s moving two hours early than the one I booked. And for sure the new trip they booked for me was more expensive.

Another bad experience happened before with this app captain who should take us from Cairo to Dahab. He arrived to the meeting point 1 hour late and he didn’t know any thing about the road or about using this app app. We, the passengers, had to open google maps from our phones the whole way to Dahab.

Honestly I highly don’t recommend traveling with this app. They are unprofessional, irresponsible and you can’t rely on them as they don’t respect their customers and the trust we give them.

Really very bad service and hiring rude captains the closed the phone while talking , didn’t answer u while talking and when they come tooo late it easy with them and there is no problem
And there customer service very bad support there is no anser while talking

U reallay need to have more responsibilities towards ur customer
Many times i was too late on my work because of ur bad service

Horrible unsafe unprofessional service
We were traveling to Northcoast the driver came at our spot (madinaty) earlier we were waiting but he didn’t ask, he left early without picking us
Swvl was not working
When Swvl worked we called him and We followed him to another spot (downtown).. he moved late and kept waiting for other passengers over 20 mins at ring road and dandy mall..
he changed the route and took El omied instead of borg el Arab, Swvl was not working, we couldn’t track the trip or give review for the ride, and we arrived 2.15 hours late and at a different point.. we were scheduled to arrive 1:45 we arrived 3:50 am !!!!!!!!!! And we had to fitch out another ride to reach our home !!!!!!!!!!

the seats and the car were horrible and totally uncomfortable

The driver was driving in a very bad way and he was wearing homeware and slippers !!!

And finally.. the driver was not the one mentioned in Swvl .. he was a different person !!!!!

I booked a trip for my honeymoon, payed for the trip ~400 EGP and was surprised at the time of the trip that Swvl logged out on it's own, when I logged back in I was surprised that the trip was canceled!! and no customer support was available before an hour later (while I was already on foot not knowing where to go or whom to call) moreover, they don't give you back your money for a trip they canceled! they instead put in Swvl 's wallet so you get to live this horrible experience all over again...

A very bad experience, not recommended at all for important trips...

It’s a shame that an app that good can’t do that simple thing right, provide proper way to give refunds.
I booked a trip using credit card and I had consequences which leaded me to cancel the trip abou 8 hours before its time. Which is okay according to their rules.
They didn’t refund the money to the credit card, they put it in a wallet they made. And when I asked I need that money they refused to give it back.

I strongly recommend not giving your credit or using it with this up as they aren’t as trustworthy as they may seem.

They earned the title of worst customer service ever with no hesitation. They act like robots with no adoptive solutions and every time you speak with them they just throw the same not-working solution they threw at you the last time because you’re talking to a new person each time. They forced me to delete the application and end my relation with them so I can forget than nonsense talk that is going no where although the main core of their idea and service is very good.

I booked an emergency trip back to cairo , called the captin to confirm the pick up, suddenly at the time of the pick up i was blocked by the captin and missed the trip and there is no other trips at the same day, after all this they debited my wallet by the price of the trip which i wasn’t on by 352 LE. It was relly hard day and the worst experience i ever have.
I will never recommend it for anyone.

The service is good and they are punctual in the pickup time but a little bit off at the drop off time. Also, I always find difficulties in choosing the right drop off location on the application itself, for example, I want to be dropped off at Nazlet El Semman, but the application chooses a very faraway location to drop me off (like Nadi el sayed or Cornich el nile !!! This problem forces me to choose different means of travel, like super jet or the train unfortunately. this app Egypt must find better web search options !

Hey there this app warriors, well first of all thank you for your efforts for making such an amazing transportation option, BUT the new update😩
It doesn’t support the tracking bus option anymore which is truly annoying, and the new timer idea isn’t accurate AT All!! it was very useful to know where exactly the bus is and to avoid calling the captain and also worrying about missing the bus, i really wish i can go back to the old app edition! Will you please consider re-adding that option again? Thanks in advance. :)

The map does not have any labels for places and landmarks or changing map view to satellite more over Swvl dont show the whole trip line to choose your pickup or arrival stations. Lines do not support main areas and squares in cairo and is so frustrating to choose a nearby 5min with car pickup point.

Swvl is really hard to use. I think you should add the ability to show me all your stations on map so i can choose the one nearest to me because every time i type in my address or anything near it it gives me no options and it doesnt show me a possible line i could use.

Swvl is a good experience but it keeps crashing , switching from cars to cars and captains to captains with a notification u can barely see.
The tracking is not working properly, I can’t even see where the bus is before getting in. So I need to call the captain which makes it a lot difficult than it is supposed to be.

Your startup is great and I know many colleagues who are riding through this app in Lahore. I would suggest to add a feature to add our booking in mobile calendar so we can get reminders and will be able to catch the ride on time and one more thing, ETA should be shown in Swvl like it appears in Uber/Careem.

- Add routes on the map to see the stations directly.
- Enhance the station search even with misspelling.
- Let the customer choose the start and end of his trip then app can propose using one or two or three routes stations to reach the required end.
- Add favorited route for easy pick of the station.
- Reduce charges for using two or three station only of any route.
- Can’t change the profile picture.

I have used this app for more than three years and I even had recent debit issue and customer service were very helpful and redeemed my money .I would love to see more routes for example October to fifth settlement

I just downloaded the Application and when I tried to sign up using my number I found that it was already registered. please help me. I really want to sign up

It was really easy to arrive at the station due to "walk to station" option, I could have tracked the bus easily also. We arrived at the time exactly. However, it was a bit late for the pick up time but the driver did not take the charge and they actually sent me an apology and credit to make up for the delay. Honestly, one of the most respectful companies i have dealt with.

Would really appreciate it if they add the license plate of the mini bus to the application, one for recognition of the bus, and two for security purposes!

Second, i’d love a favorites route where a user could add routes to their favorites list instead of looking through that long list ever time!

I hate this update and I regret updating it it was very good before I usually use it but mow after the update every time i put my pick up and drop off location there’s no line appears and I couldn’t book a ride please return the old version back

I used this app to book a private car and they were professional and the price is very good.
