First, let me I’d really like to be able use PrescriptionReminderRefils. Two things prevent me from doing that.
The XR notch wipes out half the “menu” across the top of PrescriptionReminderRefils ’s home screen. Makes it difficult to get things done.
Also, for us old codgers, 16 prescriptions may cover our morning doses. I take 30 different meds a day. I haven’t got to the point where I need a pill reminder but a refill /renewal reminder is a godsend.
This is the second time I gave PrescriptionReminderRefils a whirl (as I noticed it was recently updated for IOS 12). I’d like to use PrescriptionReminderRefils. Heck, I would pony up money if my needs were met.
I used to an app, iRxHelper/RxHelper, that did a great job of managing prescription refills and renewals. It was suddenly pulled from PrescriptionReminderRefils Store. When I recently upgraded to the iPhone XR - poof.. it was gone.
I save rx info but PrescriptionReminderRefils is not saving it officially so loses all info I put into system for each rx
I entered one rx weeks Go and it was fine but entering my second one does not work
Also the person’s profile name is not showing with rx on the home page
I thought more than one person’s rxs were able to be saved
Confusing home page
Saving feature needs to be more clear by actually adding an icon
Otherwise you forget to save when you close PrescriptionReminderRefils
Great concept
Needs a lot of help & better customer support
Customer care is just a generic coding site so I’m not even sure if anyone is even monitoring PrescriptionReminderRefils anymore which is a shame
Bc I’d like to use PrescriptionReminderRefils but can’t rely on it until certain features are updated or fixed.....
I just downloaded this and will give it a try. I already found a few limitations that make it difficult.
1. I have found that sometimes after entering information in the Notes field and saving it, I go back later and find all my notes have disappeared.
2. If I use PrescriptionReminderRefils switcher from PrescriptionReminderRefils in order to look up information in another app, after going back to PrescriptionReminderRefils, I’m back to the splash screen and all the data I entered for a prescription is gone. I have to start all over again. Grrrrrr.....
3. In the Notes area, there are no select, select all, copy, paste functions! Why?? Some information about a pill may be in another app and I want to paste it into the Notes!
4. It would be nice to be able to take a photo of a prescription label or even the pill and save it in PrescriptionReminderRefils .
5. How about the ability to sync across devices?
I need to monitor twice monthly injections, and the Doses option doesn’t go higher than a week. It’s a shame because it’s otherwise a simple, effective app. I can use it to track other medications I’m on but it kind of defeats the purpose when I cannot track everything in one place.
This is the only app that provides this function. I want to know the date to better set reminders. However it doesn’t allow me to add the med. I fill out the form and then the only button I see is a back arrow. I go back to the main page and it’s not in my med list.
Can you please update PrescriptionReminderRefils? Since iOS 12 update PrescriptionReminderRefils crashes on my iPhone 8+
Such an awesome app and great to keep track of pills remaining. Just wish I could use for multiple individuals and that I could have unlimited amount of medications per person.
Good app. Would be better if injectables that are given weekly or every two weeks could be included. Also if number of pills could be greater. In my family one person takes one prescription 3 tabs 4 times a day and we get 90 day prescriptions and PrescriptionReminderRefils will not allow that number of pills to be entered. Place for prescription number should be on first page.
It doesn’t allow for a monthly or by-weekly dosage, but other than that it’s pretty great so far. I take 11 pills on a 1 or 2 a day and once a month basis. It allowed for all of the necessary info. It also allowed for reminder date adjustment. For when the pharmacy ran out and owes you the remainder of your pills.
This is the only prescription reminder app I use. It worked wonderful until the upgrade to iOS 12. Now it opens and crashes instantly. David please fix :-)
PrescriptionReminderRefils isn’t fancy but it does exactly what I need it to, which is track the refill date and remaining dose count for myself and other family members. No other app provided this.
I can’t remember the Day,Month and Year I live. Less I could remember to drink water or eat. PrescriptionReminderRefils reminds me of what I need to take and I’m using a pricy phone for the first time I always had in the car inside the house for the convenience of PrescriptionReminderRefils.
I almost passed up PrescriptionReminderRefils. I couldn’t find anything else I liked so I decided to try it, glad I did! PrescriptionReminderRefils is so easy to use. Just put in your medication name the rest the information is easy to enter, just spend the number dial to set dosage amount, prescription filled, amount of medication , and then it will tell you when your next refill date is how many pills are left in the bottle and give you reminder. On the Calendar page the medications are all listed in PrescriptionReminderRefils puts a red box around medications that need to be called in for a refill. You got a try PrescriptionReminderRefils.
Finally able to keep track of the family’s 10 prescriptions and refill dates since my pharmacy does not have a auto fill program.
May I suggest adding a field for the RX number if there is room?
Again, Kudos!
It's Simple and Fast. It takes less then 30 seconds to add a new prescription. I love being able to see all my prescription last pill dates on one page. The extra pills feature is very useful.
PrescriptionReminderRefils greatly reduces my stress of running out of medication.
This application has everything that we would have wanted however at this point in the software update cycle it is simply unusable (maybe because of updated iOS 12.1.4?). Specifically, there is a significant amount of delay between taping an icon and app response. Is anyone else having this issue?
Otherwise is is such an amazing application!
Thank you so much dear developer for taking the time to create PrescriptionReminderRefils!!!
I have used this prescription app for over 5 years now.. Simple, easy to use. Keeps me up to date when I have to order prescriptions. New update makes it so easy to see how many left in your prescription bottle, love that feature! Thanks for a great app!
Since resolving two minor issues (Brian responded in a timely fashion) I can now edit this review. PrescriptionReminderRefils is simple to use and I especially like the addition of the ability to have multiple lists. I created one for my as needed prescriptions. They are now out of my routine medication list but still able to track them. Thanks for PrescriptionReminderRefils.
One of the things I like about PrescriptionReminderRefils is that it lets me know when the last day of when my prescription runs out. I know that I can go in and pick it up the week before that. I also like that it keeps track of the pills I’ve missed, but doesn’t include that in the regular prescription run out date. For me it has been very helpful.
I am monitoring about a dozen Rx for my wife. We are using a mail away pharmacy requiring a longer lead time.
The Prescription Reminder allows us to monitor the Prescriptions and be alarmed to when we need to order.
Another feature that has been helpful is the extra pill feature. Over time without the monitoring feature we have accumulated extras of some of the prescriptions costing extra and creating confusion.
I have emailed David White, PrescriptionReminderRefils master, with several ideas. He has been open to them and has promptly responded with changes that have been helpful.
GREAT WORK DAVID!!
