Pretty good

My wife had surgery and a post care medicine schedule with varying times and medications. This was a great app to get organized and see her medication history as things were taken. Only issues I had occurred a couple times where I would open PillReminderMedicationAlarm rather than click the notification and the current dose wouldn’t be recorded as “taken” and it didn’t add to the history. It would be nice to have a manual entry option for the history section to keep track in those instances. I subscribed to the in-app, but I’m not sure what features it unlocked, I will have to look into that more. One other nice offering would be to shift a schedule by the late amount, so if pain pills were taken a half hour late, the every 4 hour schedule could automatically adjust. Otherwise good app and pretty simple, the use of critical notifications is great as well.

Great app, except twice a year...

I love PillReminderMedicationAlarm overall. But, despite my contact before about this issue [8 months ago] it has still been ignored.

The issue involves the time change - whether falling back or springing ahead, the times get messed up an hour. Rather than adjust with the time change, you have to set it another hour later when we fall back an hour, or back to normal when we shift forward that hour. The expected behavior should allow the time to be set once and not have to mess with it at all!

Hopefully this gets fixed BEFORE spring 2019. Well, I’m adding to this because obviously it hasn’t. In fact, after telling me it would be fixed, they came back and said that they aren’t going to add this because some people have to take their medications at the same time. Well, that same time would correspond with the time of day that it is where and when they are. Why this is so hard to understand, I will never know, but apparently it is.

Pill reminder

I love it it’s great it works in very good with my diabetes knowing the time I should take my insulin and my medication.
Thank you so very much for making a great app that works into my every day activities.
I may later send you some recommendations on what I think will help me in the near future.
Keep up your great work God bless you all.

Simple and Uncomplicated

It works, and it works better than most reminder apps in my opinion. Still, no one seems to get it completely right when it comes to reminder apps. I’m not even sure what is lacking in this one. There is something missing, for sure. I just can’t put my finger on exactly what. Better than most, but doesn’t provide the satisfaction needed for 5 stars. That’s all I can say about it for now. Will update at some point.

Time change

I like PillReminderMedicationAlarm ; however, I noticed with the time change, my reminders are coming in an hour earlier (as if it’s still set to the ‘old’ time). When I went in to edit the time that reminder comes through, it has the correct time. Eg. one is set for 2:00pm, but it reminds me now at 1:00pm. When I went to edit it it, it shows that the reminder is set for 2:00pm, but it still reminds me at 1:00pm. If this bug can be fixed, I would give PillReminderMedicationAlarm 5 stars.

App is supposed to alert

I paid for PillReminderMedicationAlarm thinking it would alert me with actual sound when it was time to take my medication. It doesn’t! It puts up a silent notification which is extremely helpful when I am suppose to take an antibiotic at 0500. Fortunately I set other alarms just in case.
I have done everything I can think of to make it MAKE actual noise but the only time it does is when PillReminderMedicationAlarm is open and my device is awake, not very useful.
I looked at the comments and have found that this is not just my issue! Fix it or give us all our money back if we paid for it!!!

Pill Reminder

I installed this after surgery when I was given around 10 medications on top of the five I already take. It was a life saver! Especially for the medications I was supposed to take every four hours through the night!

App doesn’t change with Daylight Savings time

PillReminderMedicationAlarm was working OK before The time change of Daylight Savings Time. Then I got a message PillReminderMedicationAlarm was going to adjust to the time change, but it didn’t. Then it started to send me 2 messages a day and wouldn’t let me answer if I took my medications or not. I had a number of messages I couldn’t click off. Frustrating and not helpful for keeping track of medications. It caused more confusion instead of solving a problem.

Usuage

Excellent! Haven’t missed a dose since setting up a schedule
I’d like to be able to put time of second dose age in, right now I only have repeat hours.
I’d like to control actual time I.e.
1st dose @ 7:00 AM
I’d like second dose @ 12:00 PM

Great application; however, many improvements could be made, considering it’s a paid application.

Feature Requests:

• Allow repeat medication timers at specific intervals. For example: Allow the user to select the hour and minutes.

• Widget for showing all the medication’s following dosing times.

• Set End Time - Allow the user to set a time of the day where the medication isn’t taken (for example, during the night).

• Pre-Alarm - Option to be alerted about the medication dose by specifying a time interval before the dose is needed to be taken.

• Sync to Calendar / Reminders - For cross-syncing between devices that don’t support PillReminderMedicationAlarm.

Good app to track medication

Pill Reminder was helpful post-surgery to help me keep track of my medications. For future releases, consider making the timing adjust if you take one late - so you have the option to automatically adjust the times by the hours (ie: if it’s a 6 hour med and you take it 2 hours late, the reminder will adjust by 2 hours.)

this app is great!

PillReminderMedicationAlarm resembles one that Apple would put on your phone. with each different medication you log, you can pick a different color pill to put beside it which keeps me very organized. there are additional features that you can pay for, but the free version is plenty for me!

Dissatisfied

PillReminderMedicationAlarm is not really helpful. Does not have many features and when you use some available you have to pay. I did pay to use some “advanced” notifications and it’s just a thing you can write in a paper like how many hours takes between medicines. If this is “advance” it’s a robbery to charge for that. I am using the “advanced features” period I paid and will cancel it.

By

Great app

Helps me to remember since I have a lot going on lately with my family and it’s free. Wish some of the perks were too. But it’s ok. Thanks for making a great app. Give it five stars and more.

Pill reminder

I love PillReminderMedicationAlarm because when I’m busy and loose track of time, pill reminder reminds me to take my meds at the right time

By

Very helpful reminder

Also a way you know if taken the medicine for the day, not worrying if didn’t or too much. Tapping when took it, then you’ll know you have for the day.

By

Great app

I like PillReminderMedicationAlarm because it actually asks if you have taken your medication. Sometimes I forget if I have taken my meds , so this makes me be more intentional and aware of what I am doing.

By

Best app for medicine reminder

I was diagnosed with panic disorder and PTSD back in 2016. It’s always hard for me to remember to take my medicine since I deal with a lot mentally already. I bought PillReminderMedicationAlarm to remind me to take my meds. I tried other apps in PillReminderMedicationAlarm Store but for some reason I wouldn’t hear the notification. I love the fact that PillReminderMedicationAlarm has an alarm that lets me know which pill to take. I have to give it five stars.

If you guys can add appointment reminders on PillReminderMedicationAlarm it'll be so amazing.

Repeated over and over again

I wanted this to really work, but alas PillReminderMedicationAlarm asked me over and over and over again if I had taken my medication and each time I replied yes, I had. Minutes later it asked again and then again. I think you might get what I’m trying to say. I’ll be removing PillReminderMedicationAlarm on the morrow, sad to say. BTW, it might be something I did wrong, but I can’t figure it out so off I go.

By

Good app.

Just got PillReminderMedicationAlarm yesterday since I keep forgetting to take my new pills and setting it up was easy and I like the reminder settings. And paying for more options is super cheap.

By

Works great

I like that the alarm will go off even if you have your phone silenced if you need it too. PillReminderMedicationAlarm worked great for me after recovering from surgery.

By

Can't forget NOW!

I take a medicine that without it makes me dizzy, and feels very bad. I would sometimes forget to make sure I took it. Now I do not forget with this marvelous app!

By

Reminders don’t include time

Did I take that one? When was it due? It doesn’t say. I like Pill Reminder All in One better because reminders have the time on them. Works fine if you clear reminder when you take the pill.

By

Must have!

It’s helping me through my treatment, and never fail on my dose thanks to PillReminderMedicationAlarm. No bugs so far :), I recommend the paid version

By

Never forget a medication

PillReminderMedicationAlarm is excellent. Unfortunately iPhone doesn’t come with a native med reminder app. But PillReminderMedicationAlarm is simple enough for anybody. Good job!!!!!!!!!

Pill Reminder

Love it, especially after having surgery and having to remember the pain meds and antibiotics. The pains meds make me really loopy and hard to remember times.
