The theory of MoparOwnersCompanion is great. However, when it comes to making appointments at a dealership, it falls VERY short. If there are specific things that I need to have them look at and they aren’t listed in the prepopulated selections, there IS an “Other Services” selection. But when I fill in the specific details in the notes box in length about what I need the to inspect/diagnose, NONE of these notes make it to the dealership……at all. To include the fact that I was going to wait for my vehicle. There also needs to be a “Rental Required” drop down selection that MoparOwnersCompanion doesn’t have. Until these fixes are implemented, you are better off just calling the dealership and scheduling your appointment months out, as they all seem to be short rentals as well.

App is easy to figure out and I like having a maintenance schedule on my phone. Assistance with scheduling maintenance appointments through list of available dealers in my area. Dealer coupons. Between MoparOwnersCompanion and Uconnect/Guardian I have complete info about my Pacifica accessible in seconds. Can only help me take better care of my ride.

It’s an ok app but I haven’t found it useful.

What is particularly annoying to me is that the “sign on” credentials are shared across three other apps and if you can’t remember the password it creates a cascade of changes due to the dependency. But I guess that is most annoying is that when selecting a new password they restrict “special” characters and the error warning doesn’t include all of the characters that are in the restricted list. Which is sloppy and silly programming.

I downloaded MoparOwnersCompanion to hopefully manage and track maintenance schedules and at the very least look at the owners manual for my truck. The maintenance tab of MoparOwnersCompanion just tells me its sorry and can’t “locate your maintenance schedule at this time”. The past records for my vehicle also cannot be loaded so that’s not much help. As for loading the owners manual it looks like that page has a glitch and won’t allow me to scroll down to where I assume I would be able to see a button or link to the owners manual, so instead I can click the link that takes me to the Mopar website to buy one for $48 🤨.

App sounds like a great product, but can’t seem to find my VIN or contact info in their database to tell me what vehicle I have or any of my service visits... and all of my service has been done by The dealer.

Update: after loading another VIN (I got off the net) and then removing it, and then restarting MoparOwnersCompanion , my vehicle was somehow loaded along with all my service records... so if your having problems, remove MoparOwnersCompanion from memory and start MoparOwnersCompanion over.

I spend a few hours entering maintenance records data into the system. After initialing allowing me to do so, it stopped accepting records. Then, it deleted all the data I had entered. Lame app. I called MOPAR for assistance twice. Initially, I was told that MoparOwnersCompanion had “been reset” and I should be able to continue. However, when I went back in to resume entering data, it would not allow me to do so. I called back a second time, and was put on perpetual hold. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with both MoparOwnersCompanion and the customer service.

I think Mopar is awesome, it is easy to navigate and easy to make appointments. It also lists the options which is nice because there are things that one wouldn’t necessarily think of checking when you drop your car off for service.

I like that I can access my owners manual using MoparOwnersCompanion but scheduling service on iPhone X iOS 14.5.1 is a no-go. Can’t select anything from the service advisor forward. There are no options to select - no service advisor, transportation preference, date/time options. Nothing. My dealer’s service department never answers their phones or calls back, either, so now I have to make an unnecessary trip just to schedule service. Ridiculous!!

So for some reason, you get no less than three different apps when you buy a Jeep. The only one of them that’s of any use whatsoever is Uconnect, which does not work with Wranglers - so if you go from a GC to a Wrangler, for example, say goodbye to your super convenient health check dashboard. The other apps - Mopar and Jeep, are totally redundant and both are useless. Can’t book service. Can’t update your vehicle. What exactly is the point of this??

MoparOwnersCompanion works so far. The only thing I don’t like is if your FCA vehicle doesn’t come from the factory with remote start, you can’t remote start your car even though you have a MOPAR remote start system installed. The FCA representative said it was an issue of a chip that is installed only during production.

I bought vehicle on December 2007, received my first letter reminder to check my warranty in 2012. Strange as It is, but second letter I have never received, and when I came to the dealership for a repair and asked to check if it is under PT Warranty, I was told I game no longer PT Warranty because I skipped 2017 check.
Would anyone remember in ten years after buying a vehicle to remember when to come for check in? No, no, no! That is why the warranty should be reinstated!

Enjoying my car to the fullest except I can’t seem to convince the agent and technician that my speakers are blown. This happened a few days after buying my car. This is the third time . The first time one speaker was replaced

I like it because you sometimes can’t get ahold of service or a service advisor. Would be great if you could pay for the service you need ahead of time before you get to the dealership 👍🏿

I went through the process of setting up a service using MoparOwnersCompanion . It said the dealership could pick up and drop off my Jeep. I went to the dealership to confirm the appointment but they did not have it in their system nor do they offer the pickup drop off service. Clearly MoparOwnersCompanion is a “work in progress”.

Thought MoparOwnersCompanion was decent...probably because I only used it to look through the store and How-to videos. Finally tried to schedule my first maintenance and clearly there’s a bug...first, even though it’s an option you can’t actually choose “Any service advisor”. Next field for Transportation preference doesn’t even give you choices. And I can’t get Date & Time to even show up...

Service schedule options at the bottom of the screen won’t load and is stuck with a loading circle after I scheduled a service appointment.

It’s annoying that each time I open MoparOwnersCompanion I have to select the gasoline option to see my maintenance plan. MoparOwnersCompanion should remember my choices or better yet be based on my VIN. Also it’s not like MoparOwnersCompanion is a security risk so there should be no need to login. Just show me info based on VIN, nothing more nothing less.

I had MoparOwnersCompanion rated as 5 stars at first. I was able to keep all maintenance records updated on app. Went to dealer fir a recall and they were able to see all the work completed. Suddenly, I went to add a maintenance entry and all my records were deleted except for the dealer entries. Now it’s useless for me, and I’m beyond angry because my entire inputted history is gone.

MoparOwnersCompanion doesn’t remember login info and the schedule system for maintenance appears to be broken. Was able to register and load my car info from my dealer. Trying to schedule basic maintenance and MoparOwnersCompanion hangs. Did get through once but the schedule confirmation showed the default date/time instead of what I chose in MoparOwnersCompanion . App would get 5 stars with modern login (face) and if it actually worked.

Can’t choose Cummins Engine for my service schedule and there is no manual on the Cummins Engine. It’s all 6.4 related. MoparOwnersCompanion does me no good at this point. It was working great.

Today found a article concerning the jeep gladiator driveshaft?

We have contacted the jeep dealership in Ruston Louisiana concerning this issue.

We were told that we cannot get the service to correct the driveshaft issue until a recall has been issued!

Hopefully our gladiator does not have this problem?

We will be forced not to use our gladiator as we have, until we get the recall!

The service department at Courtesy Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram Dealership in Ruston, Louisiana advised us that jeep has a planned recall!

Keep getting recall notices but never for my vehicle. All recall for mine is done but yet I still get notifications to the contrary. Takes my picture away and will not allow me to replace it. Just a picture of my truck in front of the American flag. Prejudice I guess. Not worthy of any effort. Contacting support is a major ordeal as well and NOT worth the effort.

So far MoparOwnersCompanion has not disappointed me at all. It has been very prompt to inform me of key recalls for my vehicle.

I wished it had more to offer, like user notes for the service department to be aware of.

Terrible, completely unusable app. I have tried 3 different email addresses to try and register and I haven’t received a single email from MoparOwnersCompanion in any inboxes. Without the confirmation email, I can’t even complete the application process! What a bunch of garbage! Hopefully FCA’s vehicles are better than their app, because it’s absolutely useless. Unbelievable that a big corporation has such an amateur app.

It’s the most amazing ride. Really want to update to a Hellcat. But they don’t have Phantom Black Tri Coat. I’ll wait for that color again....maybe. In 2015 the 392 needed the 275 size tires. That’s the only disappointment is lack of traction.

What a great way to connect and make changes to your Jeep, make service records updates, schedule oil change/ repairs and much more.

MoparOwnersCompanion doesn’t let me login. I re-set my password, it doesn’t recognise it. I try to re-register but naturally I have an account already but it doesn’t recognise me when I login. I deleted MoparOwnersCompanion & re-downloaded it, still doesn’t let me login. I can use it in guest mode only. Seems only a little helpful.

It appears to need me to sign in almost every time, however the searchable and visual owners manual is nice. It appears to function well enough and answered a lot of quick questions about the vehicle.

Was able to easily make a vehicle service appointment very easily at dealership.

When I go on MoparOwnersCompanion to look at the records of my car it’s saying that there is not a owner to the car but I called dodge/Mopar and they said my name Karen Gomez is on file as owner of the car can you please fix this

MoparOwnersCompanion is fine I wish it would give me the whole history of my car but my main concern is that the uconnect app is useless and the one you provide in the my mopar app isn’t available in the United States
