The Toyota app is updated almost every month and almost every month making a payment is “unavailable”. Or it makes you update ToyotaOwners in order to even get into your account. Is this a business strategy? I have paid my account late multiple times because of this huge inconvenience. I have 3 jobs and no time for this type of inconsideration! Making a payment through ToyotaOwners to a company that finances my car should be a given option but it feels as if it’s only an option in their policies! #goodluckinreallife Get it together IT people. You make me want to go back to paper billing, and I HATE paper billing.

And Toyota apparently does not care it makes them look like total incompetents.

The latest update seems to fix the dates of the service records. But just try enter the car's current mileage typing it in and it does crazy things like accept only the first four numbers and then goes off somewhere using the next number. You can enter numbers into each individual cell but the next time you tap the miles icon it wipes out some of those numbers. I have not tested a lot of functions because of how bad the ones I have tried are.

Thankfully, the car is pretty good.

Called Toyota and they promised to reset based on a glitch in their system. Never happened. Now email address associated with app is locked out. Says address being used but wont allow resetting password. I'm not the first with this glitch. Wanted to track service history on two recent car purchases. Not possible, now. Hope cars perform better than this miserable app and lousy customer service. Really, how hard is it to get a functioning website/app up and running. Switched over from Honda/Acuras. If Toyota app is any indication, did I make the right decision?

Toyota has worked diligently over the past six years to make this simple and functional tool almost completely useless. The latest version buries the service history and service notifications for owned vehicles. I thought maybe I needed to select a “preferred dealer “ to unlock all my service records but that is not the case. Bug also does not allow deleting of sold vehicles.

One bright spot is the FAQ is very easy to access. If I forget how to start my car, there is a great step by step process right at the top.

Save your paper records.

Updated July 2, 2017: after a month of trying, I finally got in only to find all of my self-entered data is gone.

Thanks for nothing. What was once a user friendly, reliable app is no longer good for anything really. If I have to maintain my service records in another place anyway, why bother with this?

App Deleted.

I will say the new design (downloaded April 28, 2016) looks a little better, flows a little better, and my service notes seem to be back. Overall it is an improvement.

However, my service history is still out of order. It appears they go by the month and ignore the year. For example, Jan 2016 comes before February 2015, then March 2016, March 2015, then on to April.

They aren't out of order on the website, so at least there is that.

About the only thing ToyotaOwners does well is show you the latest service promotions at the local dealer. It is supposed to give you access to vehicle owner manuals but whenever you search for something specific it opens page 1 of the manual and lets you search the 700+ page manual yourself. Simply pathetic. If Toyota wrote this themselves then the programmers should be fired. If Toyota bought it from some supplier then they should get the money back,

I like the concept of having all your vehicle information readily available, receiving notifications of scheduled maintenance, tracking maintenance history however, it needs some improvement, it’s not ready for prime time especially, when you try to schedule maintenance appointments, not all the drop down selections work correctly. I tried several times, gave up in frustration. Ended up scheduling my appointment on my computer instead.

Information in ToyotaOwners is actually very useful. However, I find it next to impossible to find when my next scheduled service is. I would expect that to be very obvious everywhere I within ToyotaOwners . I am very disappointed with how difficult ToyotaOwners is to navigate. I am trying to complete data entry for my 8th Toyota.

This was a great app I used to use it until o got rid of my camery then I bought a tundra and I re downloaded ToyotaOwners but I cannot even sign in it’s super buggy and really needs an overhaul. Just like the entune app there are many issues that seem to not be getting fixed. I love Toyota but I cannot seem to find a good working app that I could use to interact with my vehicles.

My Camry is great. ToyotaOwners however, leaves much to be desired. The ability to view the owners manuals and videos is handy but the ability to schedule service has failed repeatedly. Ended up calling the dealer on the phone. Hard to believe Ma Bell’s technology is superior to Toyota’s app. Also ToyotaOwners does not remember you and you have to manually re-enter data every time.

So I have been using ToyotaOwners since I bought my vehicle from a Toyota dealer. Very nice app, keeps things in order and very easy to use. But the last update changed the font and color for a lot of the entries to pure white, so it makes it hard to read. Not very convenient, especially when I need to write down my vin to make sure a new part will work with my vehicle.. hopefully the font and other glitches that have happened with the latest update get fixed.

This really is a good reference for my vehicle, but there is only one problem. When looking at a manual, there is no way to move to a specific page easily. If I need page 250 of the owner’s manual then I have to take 5 minutes to flip through all of the manual pages until I get there. Quite a pain when you need the index at the very back.

I love ToyotaOwners. It gives me access to my truck’s manual, as well as all the service records for all my visits, at any of the dealerships visited during my ownership of the car. It also lists any recalls issued for my vehicle, location of all dealership based on my current location, summary of any dash lights pertaining to my registered vehicle, in addition to few additional features. ToyotaOwners makes sense to new car owners, as well as used Toyota car owners who frequent the dealership service department, or just want to have access to their manual, list of recalls, dealership locations etc.

Ok, let me start by saying ToyotaOwners is not fancy, it's functional. Sure it could be a little more user friendly, but all the info is accessible and I love that I can pull up all the information on the buttons and lights without having to pull a book out. It also maintains all the service info and actually pulls all the info for your vehicle in by vin. Even contains an option to upload pics of all documents in your glovebox. Love ToyotaOwners and will continue to use it.
