This is the least enjoyable sports game I have ever played. The combo system combined with the unrealistic mechanics make the game look awful and takes all creativity out of the sport of MMA. What a shame! I don't understand how such an entertaining sport with some great games on other consoles can be so badly ruined in an IOS game. The devopers of this game should be ashamed of themselves, if this is the best game they could produce they should do themselves a service by considering a different line of work. I apologize for the harshness of my review, I am just so frustrated knowing how good this game could... SHOULD have been. Fix this game or remove it, don't disrespect MMA like this.

I don’t know what you did with the last update, no new fighters, no new features, literally nothing changed but now since the update I can’t even play past 5 fights without the game crashing on me and more times than not having to redo that last fight, wasting more resources since I need to revive and heal my fighter. To be honest I’ve only continued to play out of hopes that they’ll fix this hot pile of trash because I was so into the first game but it’s not looking like it, I guess they’d rather spend their time doing the power slap game 🙄 every day it’s the same exact boring gameplay with no new events or anything and you get to the point in upgrading your fighters where you literally can’t go any further because they didn’t add any way to get the upgrade items that you need. Without a doubt the first ufc mobile game blew this one out of the water in literally every way other than maybe graphics and even then the difference in graphics is very slight. If you’re thinking of trying this one out, don’t waste your time.

I have no idea how this game is rated so highly, it’s not just flawed, it is HORRIBLE. Incorrect terminology is used from the start, you get a tko in the opening tutorial, and the game says you win by submission, but that’s just a petty complaint, not what makes this game so bad.

The controls are so ridiculous, you tap the screen and swipe for strikes and combos, no ability to choose left or right , no ability to choose jab or hook. You also build a bar up to perform a specialty attack. It’s a corny, poorly implemented version of the game. Don’t describe the game as realistic mma game and not give the ability to select strikes. I know developers probably work hard to make this a good game, just describe it as an arcade fighting game, and most of the criticism would be invalid. It doesn’t seem like a game that should have ufc fighters as playable characters, everything from controls to animations and building up a speciality attack bar, screams mortal kombat or streetfighter. Not a “realistic mma game”

The first version was way better. It’s like there was no supervision from the ufc in this game. Fighters are in wrong weight classes and there is no ground game in this version. You can win any fight by just swiping the same combo over and over again, try it for yourself if you don’t believe me. The style of fighter and the difficultly is a good addition but I feel like other than that everything about this game made me rage as a huge fan of the sport and the UFC. I would be embarrassed if I was Dana White and this game was released with so many errors. I am not a person to write reviews but I am passionate about this sport and the UFC and I enjoyed the first UFC game but this is just sad. I had high expectations for this game when I saw it, but was sadly disappointed.

That’s it. Everything else is ok, and the graphics are a decent upgrade, but the combat is just terrible. The first ufc mobile had MUCH better gameplay. You could actually control your strikes in that game. You could mix up body and head punches and could grapple and do submissions, as well as use multiple special moves in both grappling and standing up. In this game, the striking is so delayed and robotic it looks horrible. There’s only one special ability per fighter and they completely took out the grappling portion of the game from the first. They should’ve improved the gameplay of the first, not replace it with this terrible system. Hopefully they update it, but for now, it’s boring and not worth your time.

You guys should be absolutely ashamed of this. This game is a massive fail and a massive disappointment. Besides an updated roster, I see literally zero areas of improvement and an absolutely ridiculous devolution of the striking mechanics of the first game. Somebody at EA needs to be held accountable for this horrendous sequel. Seriously, EA Developers must have spent the time they had to work on the game studying the Dim Mak instead! Everything EA touches turns to hot garbage. I can’t wait to see the documentaries that are eventually made about these dark and sad years where EA Developers slowly and methodically ruined every successful gaming franchise they owned!

My favorite franchise and mobile game barely moves when you command it. Feels like I am driving a Lamborghini with a 4 cylinder engine.

When I back away I had to swipe 5 times and my guy still didn’t move. Other moves are a little better. Blocking is delayed. Dodging is delayed. Attacks are delayed.

Most knockouts are by hitting the stomach. Weird.

This is my 3rd time
Downloading this game and it is still the same as when they made me upgrade to UFC 2.

Way too many fighters to manage. Why cant we just get a fighter and upgrade them? I had at least 3 or 4 of the same fighter. One star, 2
Stars and 3 stars. Sorry guys. It makes the game redundant.

Running out of training. Makes it nearly impossible to pass training challenges when you have no training rewards to apply.

Great graphics. Excellent sound.

Menu and reward system is scattered all over the place.

Fan of UFC and mma combat sport. This is/was the most realistic/fun app there is available BEFORE the new update.
The game got stale and repetitive inactivity of users, but the controls and gameplay visuals were still on point.
After the new update, yes sure the visual graphics are nice but almost cartoonish like.. too many special effects; makes it look unrealistic.
Giving 2 stars for the update itself, before it was a 4 star. But if the previous visuals and gameplay is restored back along with new roster, it would be a 5 star.
New update made game too much like an RPG way too complicated when it’s meant for just quick matches and competition.

I deleted this awful piece of trash the same day I downloaded it. I only gave it 1 star because it wouldn’t accept 0 stars. I truly loved the original game! But they (EA Sports) took everything fun out of it when the made this version. You don’t even control anything that the fighters do. And the story is nothing but tedious. I don’t know who they listened to when they made all these changes, but it wasn’t anybody who ever really played the first one. All they had to do was add some modern fighters and a few new strikes, takedowns, & Jiu Jitsu holds and everyone would have been happy. It honestly makes me sad when I think about the old game and how much I enjoyed playing it. I miss it. 😞

At first, this game was worth around 5 stars, and it was awesome. However, when I finished recruiting players from each class, it started glitching, and now whoever I try to do any major event in the “Events” section besides the campaign, my character says something along the lines of “Looks like Conor McGregor is recruiting players. We better catch up,” and then everything freezes when it gets to the part where it usually highlights where you have to go. I have absolutely no idea whether this is common, but it needs to be fixed eventually, as I can no longer progress in anything besides Campaign.

Since the last update, the fighting is totally broken. Your fighter just stands there like an idiot while you swipe as maybe 1 out of 10 moves register and the AI endlessly combos you or dodges the few punches that actually work.

It used to be a fun game but in the last week, they reverted to striking that is even worse, more unresponsive and laggy than it has even been. EA has not acknowledged the issue at all so I’m guessing it was an intentional way to inflate the difficulty because people were having fun with the game and not spending enough money. Can’t have that of course. Avoid.

Honestly I don’t think the makers of the game will actually see my review but I’ll make a review anyway. So when it comes to being player friendly, the game is pretty good. You don’t need to spend money to get fighters, and you get currency rather easy. On the other hand, most people play the game because of the fighting. I reallyyyyy have a bone to pick with the combat system. The combos can be too slow, too glitchy, and sometimes don’t work at all. I’ve even had times where I can’t even block or evade incoming punches. If you went back to the same combat system as UFC 1 mobile the fighting would be immensely better in my opinion. As a UFC 4 player, it feels wrong to see the combo strings that you can do in UFC 2 mobile actually land. For new players they probably wont understand why I believe the combat system should change. Although, everyone who watches combat sports and plays the UFC games will totally understand my point of view and many might also side with me. I hope you take using the UFC 1 mobile combat system into consideration.

This game is nothing special. When you start the game you can only do campaign and it gives you bad fighters. Additionally there is no fight now mode where you can fight against any fighter. Additionally I don’t think there is any wrestling and ground game in this game, and the fights are so u realistic letting you use multiple guys after each other in a fight to diminish the guys health. It’s also to easy and simplistic the controls and is overall boring. Each fighter only has one combo which is… bad. Right now mortal Kombat on mobile has better gameplay than this game. If new updates regard any of this, and I will update this review if my opinions change.

I was excited when this game came out since I really liked the first one, menu setup and store is alright I guess and the new upgraded looks for everything/graphics is an upgrade but when it comes to actual combat it’s terrible compared to the first. Super delayed striking and blocking and when you get delayed and punched the AI will wail on you and practically KO you with you literally being able to do nothing about it (in early levels when AI is not as good too) but I guess it’s still worth a try if you can adjust to the delay and style of combat because personally I really like the rest of the game and the new images and swapable images are great as well, although i don’t know how you would unlock any of them without buying them with real money

The striking mechanics are a little delayed and that animation after being hit leaves you vulnerable to continuous combos. The parry mechanics are weird to sometimes it works sometimes it just makes you swing. The ranking up the fighters is weird to I fully upgraded a couple fighters attributes with the coins that you earn but you need a totally separate item to increase the rank past ten and apparently they are pretty rare and the only ones I really seen were for purchase so that tells you about the game right there I’m really trying hard to enjoy and prob will keep playing because I know they will make it a lot better soon hopefully

Did y’all just turn UFC mobile into an energy based game? I mean come on. I know ea milks money out of people but really? I got to say I am pretty disappointed with what the game turned into. The combat feels much slower and not nearly as fluid as before. And lastly, the insane reach with the hook. It’s pretty much just a teleport that should have never been implemented. I still like the game, as it is different in its own ways. But i don’t think this is what should have been done to it. Thank you.

Hello EA, i know you probably could care less about what i have to say on your game because your probably already making big bank off of it but, if you could please listen to this review all the way through it would create something beautiful. In your next game (UFC 3 or something) please make it more like UFC 1, the original, at least the movement, it had a great flow to it, whereas this feels more like and arcade rockemsockem type game which i don't really enjoy, the graphics and characters look amazing, other then the flow and stuff it's great. Please make the next game more simulation like and not flashy KO omg you won, make it difficult, make it engaging, please. Thank you guys!

The game has such a good potential, good graphics and good physics, But You need to work on the following components to make the game more complete. 1) First and important thing is a bloody effect’s in the game, guys this is the UFC it needs some blood 🩸 during the fighting. 2) second thing is a better decoration of the evening, when the fighter wins, needs longer time to celebrate the victory, the repetitive shots from different angles is definitely needed. 3) Third is a Referee and Commentators make the fight more spectacular, more emotional and impressive as it really is. 4) Fourth it is to choose the complexity of the championship, for example : (easy, hard, extra hard ) If you do all these components this game will conquer big peaks, otherwise some guy will download this game a week of fun after that deleting it and forget about it)) I hope you read the comments and take note of all the advice I wrote ❤️

When you starts its fun but once you complete some campaign and all that it starts getting dumb its hard to get coins you can only upgrade a couple when you fight harder fighters there is nothing you can do with the punch power my power be 100 and theirs be 127 but they hit me once my health goes from 100% to 80% and when i hit them they go from 100% to 96% its dumb no way there is that much difference then to block u try like 4 times and it just stays there to get knocked out and super hard to get coins yall gotta improve so much🤦‍♂️ this game is mid i get is mobile but it could be way better

I’ve seen so many people leaving the game recently because it’s not being updated. It’s missing the PvP mode and campaign stages. It’s like half of the game is missing. I heard they used to have special events that coincided with actual UFC events, with really cool rewards, **but I’ve never seen any.** I hope this game is still being developed, because I’ve spent some money playing it and I’d hate it if they dropped it without saying anything.

Fun game really enjoy the game very easy to attain the other UFC rosters!, may I add if you can show the UFC Championship belt during the cutscene when you win would be really cool to see . also the shorts different colors for each of the roster the grey and black kinda gets old overall I recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of UFC the guild and raids are pretty fun when you join a crew very nice game liking it so far .

Hear me out this game is great but since it is the sequel to EA Sports UFC Mobile it could use some more ideas. Ok first of all this is the UFC so there has to be blood on the mat or on the fighters face because the sport is brutal. Second there should be way more UFC fighters on the table because there are some UFC legends who are not yet in the game yet. But other than that it is still pretty fun to play when bored.

In campaign mode when completing the game event of triggering a submission. By triggering this event you have to do a core strike. After your opponent slams you, it doesn’t give you and window of opportunity to do another core strike if not completed the first time. In addition to there being no pause button to allow your to reset the event to exit out of the glitch. As for leaving this event, you have to restart the entire app.

I like the game but I always die easily cause I fight people that wights more than me EA if you can here me change the gameplay controls and make a little tough but Alford I enjoy playing the game sooo much it’s engaging can’t wait for ufc mobile 3 to come out it improved a little from the first one

I have only been playing for a bit but this game has remarkable action riveting rivalries and a story that is unmatched the combo system is simple but allows for almost infinite variation me and my friends will play this game until we decompose fossilize and get born anew only because we will have our memories wiped when we are reborn but if this game gets reintroduced to us we will easily play it for another millennium 100% masterpiece

The game is made extremely lazily it’s cheap and repetitive it’ has no controls and the fight style is just tapping and swiping and the graphics are cool but that’s it. The tutorial is extremely long and over detailed and does a poor job explains the game. It’s incredibly boring for a fighting game. It becomes pay to win after a while and it’s just a cash grab by the ufc it’s not worth the download and it’s extremely disappointing for a UFC game and also just a boring and cheaply made game

there has really never been a longer and/or more boring tutorial ever in the history of all games ever made, ever. you are hurting the image of MMA with this professional tag youre it style of fighting competition that resembles the american karate competition's judging and scorekeeping. im only giving this game a 5 star review because i love the sport and only want more exposure to gain its support and sponsors. warning: work on it please, tons of time, tolorance, and patience for update improvements are required to play it more than once.
