Is anyone else noticing high data usage with SportsPredictor? I will open SportsPredictor up view a few things close it so that it isn’t running in the background and reopen it later to check scores. With this method I have been noticing large data usage numbers. Is anyone else noticing this as well and is this normal? I also with I was able to view and make updates while traveling. I live in California and travel for a living, today I tried to check my golf score and make picks for Sunday and I’m told it’s not available in my location! It should remember where you set up your account or your home address and use that info. So I’m unable to use SportsPredictor while working out of the country. It’s free so I guess I can’t complain much but annoying.

The NBC Sports Predictor app asks you to predict which golfer will win this week’s tournament. They provide a list of golfers in the tournament for you to choose one. But they purposely list golfers who aren’t even playing in that tournament. They try to deceive you into picking a golfer that’s not even in the tournament. This practice is totally not allowed on all other sports betting apps. It’s an illegal practice.
Unsurprisingly, I reached out to the people from the NBC Sports Predictor app, and they were no help at all. I finally received one generic response, in which they lied about the Official Rules, didn’t answer my question, and refused to help me.
This is a scam, dishonest app.

Thankful the contest exists but the functionality is horrible. Not very user friendly especially in being able to see the selections you made. In golf, it would be nice to see who you selected to win AND by how much. Also why not simply make the scores of the person who is winning green and make them red if they aren’t instead of the green, red, black mix?

In football you can see what you picked and you can see the current status but it would be nice to see that along with the other possible selections you could have made.

Great app and fun to play leagues but I just had my phone replaced and I had to start from fresh and not my backup and for whatever reason it’s not asking me if I want to setup notifications and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled SportsPredictor several times. I’ve hit SportsPredictor support button with no luck and no way to contact them and without the notifications I forget about them. I’ve had to add one to my reminders and that’s just not the place for that. Please fix this. I’ll revise my review then.

Update: So I have found that signing in after a reinstall does not give you the option to set notifications but you can fool the system by trying to sign up using the same info and going through the motions. It’s not ideal but it will work. SportsPredictor needs coded to correct that.

In addition the notification spam needs to stop. After I make my picks the notifications needs to stop. SportsPredictor just continues to remind me and tell me about making my picks even after they have been made. There is literally no reason for that. Also a badge until those picks are done would be totally enough. I don’t need to have my Notification Center littered with repeated make your pick posts. Let’s clean that up guys.

I’ve been using app for quite a while now, and just the other day i started to notice that SportsPredictor won’t even open for me anymore. Something didn’t seem right about it, I started to question whether my account got banned or what not. Just a couple minutes ago after waking up I tried to check my score and it won’t even take me past the start up screen. I love SportsPredictor, and use it everyday but if this is what it comes to then it’s whatever. I just wanna play! It’s definitely a 5 star rating app but if I got banned for whatever reason then I won’t even bother.

Won $2.00 over a month ago. I tried to transfer it to my PayPal account, but it never showed up. I’ve contacted support and they’ve said they are working on it. Each email they say they hope to get it to me in the “next week or so”. It’s unfortunate because it’s a fun game. I suppose it’s like any other form of gambling, play for fun... not for the money.

Quick update- about 30 minutes after writing this review I got my cash. Updated the rating to three stars since it took 5-6 weeks. I’ll keep playing.

It is hard not to give 5 stars to an app that is free and legitimately gives a shot at winning money just for doing something fun. But come on, devs — SportsPredictor design is completely non responsive to rotation or screen size. Run it on an iPad and it takes you back to 2009 with the only option being to make it full screen without anything like landscape view, better use of screen real estate, and so on. This is not what a modern app should be.

The most recent update (version 681, d/l on September 19) shows the opening splash screen then, after about 10 seconds kicks my phone back to my home screen.

SportsPredictor hasn’t actually QUIT, however; when I double tap the home key on my iPhone it shows SportsPredictor still running in the background but also still frozen on the opening splash screen.

A 5 star app that’s (not) functioning like a 1 Star at the moment.

SportsPredictor is legit coming from a real player of SportsPredictor . I won 32 bucks one time and I had no problem transferring the money to my PayPal. Only reason 4 stars is because sometimes when you play, so many people win and even if there’s a $100,000 jackpot and if you get the max points, sometimes you only win like 8 dollars because the game was easy and a lot of people won. Overall a good app

SportsPredictor needs improvements and enhancements. I have found the following problem:
Under profile sub minuets SportsPredictor does not update ones score. First week I had a score of 12 in the month of December. In the second series of games I had 28 but this has not been added and updated.
Second you guys might want to add features to show different stats for how many people won in each category of numbers and optionally the amount of money in each category. Top winners, etc... Thanks also for the great app nice idea for the contest!

I love SportsPredictor and have won a lot of money playing. They are quick to respond to any questions and there’s a fast turn over for the money you win, even when it’s an amount that has to be reported to the IRS. Ever since the update SportsPredictor will not open. I tried deleting and reinstalling, but nothing works. This has never happened to me and it just started happening after the most recent update.

I don’t know exactly how long SportsPredictor/game/contest has been out there but it is really awesome and very easy to use! I thought it would be complicated to use/pick drivers but they make it super easy. Not sure how to explain it....download SportsPredictor and see for yourself...you get a free shot at $10,000 and it actually made watching and rooting for drivers sooooooo much more fun!!!!

The only thing wrong with SportsPredictor is I’m just not sure what I am going to do with the $50,000 when I win it.

What a great idea to add even more fun to the world’s greatest sport. I feel more involved. And watching the placements change with every goal his great.....unless it is you that gets sent down by a goal in injury time.

Like most others, I don’t like the noise opening SportsPredictor .

You shouldn’t be surprised to learn that one of the oldest and largest TV networks in the United States can be trusted, but it bears stating. I can attest that if you were to win some amount of money, in my case I won a whopping 4 bucks, you will receive the money. Be aware that there is a bit of a waiting period, about 10 days, but you will receive the money in your PayPal. App support is strong, too.

As far as user experience, it’s easy to use SportsPredictor and you don’t really need any expert knowledge of the sports to participate. I certainly don’t know much about Premier League soccer or NASCAR and I’m able to score points.

Why not play the game for free plus you have a chance to win BIG MONEY!!! Who wouldn’t want to win money without putting up a dime??? The only thing you’ll be putting up is your thinking cap Lol. Come on na. Go tell ya grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, sister, brother, and uncle leeroy to join the fun!!! When I told everybody, I ended up winning $600. It’s enough for the WHOLE FAMILY. Love how it’s free to play and challenging. The support is very fast to respond if you have any questions or concerns. The game is great I’ve made a few bucks playing and that’s great for a free game and if you know your sports you are rewarded. Pay outs are similar to HQ which was fun for a while but not rewarding since it had odd questions this predictor is based all on current sports and is fun to play weekly.

SportsPredictor is truly inspiring and helps me to keep my head in the game. Not only that but I get a chance to win some cash flow while I’m on the go! This is definitely a “challenge “ that I don’t mind getting involved with one bit! The only thing that could possibly get hurt doing this challenge is my feelings. 😉

I’ve noticed once in a while that I can’t view live updates in the premier league while matches are in progress, the one time I texted the problem they got back to me immediately and I was told they were getting the “BUGS” out. Not 5 minutes after that the problem was fixed and I haven’t had any problem since. Awesome job, Fantastic site. I Salute you guys, job well done.

SportsPredictor is very reliable and I love using it. There are so many apps I have seen that promise you money but when you read the reviews you find how unlikely you are to actually earn money. SportsPredictor is the exact opposite. It is 100% free and you can earn money, so, what’s the downside. I figure there is no hurt in earning money when you don’t have to pay any yourself. Great app, highly recommend it! While I have only won $3.87 so far, I know I will earn more in the future.

SportsPredictor has worked well since the beginning. But since iOS 14 and the latest app update, I cannot open SportsPredictor . It attempts to launch and crashes every time

Edit: after downloading it again it seems to be working fine for now

SportsPredictor is lovely and gets me watching more games than I normally would! One issue though- when you launch SportsPredictor , the initial advertisement has a loud glass breaking sound accompanying it. It seems a bit unnecessary, and if I want to check the scores while in class or somewhere, there’s this loud noise every time. Not very sneaky. I’m fine with the advertising, just not the loud noise- please fix this.

It’s a great initiative for giving back to the fans. Love being able to guess on scores to achieve $50,000 a week. The one addition I would make is for the Premier League Pick Em; if you get the score margin correct, you should get 7 points. For example, Arsenal beat Newcastle 2-0. I had them winning 3-1 so I should get 7 points instead of 4 for just predicting the winner.

I love SportsPredictor so much cuz you can win money for guessing scores of football matches in the prem and it’s so much easier when it says what place each team are in, which helps out a lot too. I recommend it to anyone who watches football (or golf) or people who don’t and are just feeling lucky and wanna guess some scores 🤑🤑

If this has a downside I can’t find it! It’s Free to play & makes watching the games more exciting. I’ve only won $3.19 so far but just the possibility of winning free money is great! I don’t gamble my hard earned money so this is a great way to add some extra excitement to the games I might not normally watch all the way through. Great app!

This is a great app. The games are fun and challenging. The graphics are excellent. It makes you feel like you have a betting/ rooting interest without putting out any money. It works from an NBC sports side in that I am tuning in particularly if my golfer is towards the top of the leaderboard. This is a great way to enjoy golf and the EPL.

Although SportsPredictor makes prime time games a lot more fun for me and my family the questions are always the same just other different players my advice is that you have a wide variety of questions to mix it up a little bit
