It doesn’t notify me when I am low on power or am going to shut off. It used to let me know I didn’t have enough power for that day but now it won’t tell me so I constantly have to guess where my power is at. I hate hate hate SRPPower because half the time it won’t even let me log in!! I love being able to purchase power right from my phone, don’t get me wrong, but if my power goes out and I can’t log in, what’s the point of using it?? The power went out this morning no warning or notifications, and then I tried to log into SRPPower and online, it just said sorry something went wrong call this number, so I did and the call wouldn’t even go through. “User busy”. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing. And I restarted my phone, connected/disconnected WiFi. Something is seriously wrong with SRPPower. This is some serious BS. I need to be able to log in to my own account especially when I need to purchase power!!

Something changed in the last few months. At one time I liked SRPPower, would use it to monitor my usage and to pay my bills. Now It no longer works, it won’t even allow me to logon. Even though SRPPower is tagged as working on my device, I can’t use it and that is very frustrating.

I loved SRPPower , then they updated it two weeks ago and now it’s garbage. It’s slow and sluggish, it can’t remember my login information and keeps logging me out, even though I tell it to remember my login information. I used faceID to recall a stored password from the srpnet website and it still refuses to fill in my information and log me in. I used to use SRPPower to pay my bill and record my daily usage, but now I can’t go back several days without getting a headache from frustration. It’s slow and just doesn’t work now. I did not use SRPPower to pay this time because I just did not want to fight with it. PLEASE REVERT TO A PREVIOUS VERSION! I hate this new app!

SRPPower used to be great. For the past month or so, when I try to log in the green button for login stays disabled. If I choose create login (the only option allowed), I’m told that the login ID and password already exist. I haven’t tried resetting my password multiple times as well as deleted and reinstalled SRPPower to no avail. Very frustrating!!

After a certain update last year, I have been unable to login. I re-download SRPPower every now and then, but the result is the same; correct credentials but the login button is deactivated, but the “keep me logged in” toggle and “sign up” button are active. Last year I ended up creating a shortcut from srpnet on my Home Screen which works fine but I’d rather use a stable app. I am using a 12 Mini currently running iOS 15.4.

It would be very helpful to be able to swipe right or left for forward a day or back, instead of having to tap the date for a pull down, then change the date wheel by one day and another tap to finish.
Also, please restore the total usage for the daily view, not just the two amounts for the peak & off-peak. Yes, I can do simple math and SRPPower can be programmed to do it too!

App is useless. Can’t even log in anymore.
Update: First review submitted in February. Nearly three months later and the issue still hasn’t been fixed. Deleting SRPPower and reinstalling does nothing; login button stays greyed out regardless. Seriously think this is done maliciously so folks don’t have as easy access to the account and miss payments since they’re not receiving app notifications and in turn, they can collect late fees.

UPDATE: months later no fix to app. Customer service suggested I create a new SRP profile. They lost me at, let’s have you do a bunch of work to see if that helps. No thanks.
Like many others I cannot login anymore. Login button is grayed out. Called the number for support. They claim they have not even heard of this issue.
I suggested they read all the recent reviews here.

SRPPower doesn’t work very well a lot of the time. The formatting isn’t good. Lots of times the data won’t update. Seems like this is a first app project for someone. I do try to use it to reduce our electric bill, but it is hard to do without accurate and timely data. Also it seems like the same info is available on the website so I don’t see the real benefit in creating an independent app.

It was a decent app when it worked, but it stopped allowing me to log in. It says that my password is incorrect but I've changed my password, I've deleted and downloaded SRPPower twice. I give up. I can continue logging into the website. It's such a basic app, it shouldn't have issues like this.

The previous version before iOS 14.2 was easy to see your usage. It was a bit clunky going between days or months, but you could click on a day or month from the bar graph and see usage. Now these giant bars take up 3/4 the screen and when you click them nothing happens. You have to click the list view to see usage. Why have the option of the bar graph!? I’m a visual person and like that option, please make it work.

Usage by-hour, by-day, and by-month are great breakdowns to monitor how you are using electricity. But by-day only shows last 7 days... can’t across weeks. Confused by differences between sums from by-hour to the total and the respective by-day. For example by-hour one day I have $0.06 for the three on-peak hours, by-day shows on-peak as $0.33.

I used to use the SRP app to check my energy usage periodically - after I signed up for Budget Billing, I wasn't able to. If you can't see your usage and are on Budget Billing - that's what's happening. I know this because I just switched from budget billing to standard and can now see usage on SRPPower again. Ask SRP why, because in all of my contact with them, they don't have an answer. Whether you are budget billing or standard, you should be able to see at LEAST your usage. After all, usage is kind of the basis of SRP'S product, regardless of billing preference...

Usage was working fine in SRPPower but after I switched to an electric vehicle plan the Usage tab stopped working. It shows “we’re sorry but usage information for this account is not available”. It’s been like this for over a month.
Usage information is still available in the website however so it’s just an app issue.

SRPPower has a couple flaws and I’m sure SRP is working on it. Right SRP IT?
Anybody remember when you couldn’t track your daily usage and then cringed when the bill came?
Those days are over folks!
Now I know that it costs about 35¢ to bake a pizza at 5pm in October.
About 50¢ for a load of laundry at noon in July.
7¢/hr at night in November.
My wife wants to choke me but I love it and now I am more aware of energy usage instead of running blind and popping a cork when I see the bill.
-1 star because SRPPower doesn’t cook breakfast.

I use SRPPower every day to review daily usage but intermittently in the past two weeks the usage field on the home page has a statement “content is currently unavailable”. Can you please investigate and fix the problem? Thank you.

Updated SRPPower and now it won’t even open. It doesn’t open and then just close, it literally just won’t open at all now.
UPDATE: Deleted and reinstalled SRPPower . Had to sign back in but now it’s working again.

We surely need an app that works for ipad correctly, SRPPower is very convenient for srp customers on the go but for home use we could really use an app that works for ipad/tablets. I’d like to see a full screen version for my ipad, i think we would all appreciate having a good app that works for our phones and tablets. Earn your 5th star!!! Thank you!

Just got SRPPower this morning… An email from SRP notified me of its availability… Works great shows tonight daily, power usage will send me alerts if I start using more power than what is normal for my home… Shows me in dollars and in kilowatt hours my daily power usage. This is much more user-friendly and logging in to SRP's website.

This is very intuitive to use and gives good information. One change I would recommend is to show more data on the monthly or daily use of power usage. It would be nice to be able to see the whole year at a time on the monthly view for instance. At least, provide an option in the settings to show more months.
