Amazing Distribution App!!!

Hey everybody this is an amazing FREE app to help distribute your music digitally to all platform! I had no problem getting my single released! The only thing I struggled with was finding art work that reached the quality standard but that’s to be expected because I don’t want a low grade cover for my single. I don’t really see how people can talk down on a group of people working for you literally for free & offering as much as they do! Some people just need a reason to complain.. My only question to you Amuse is is there a way to find what station on Pandora my single is getting played? I keep getting asked lol but other than that I’m extremely happy with my experience!.. By the way y’all go check out my new Single - Not On Ice by Nani Niko!!!

needs major improvement

a good app to start out, free to distribute, but the downsides outweigh the positives. usually takes 3 weeks minimum for your song to hit platforms. experienced problems with my songs not hitting all platforms when they finally released. support team took over a month to finally respond to me and fix the problem, even though i contacted them 3 times. the biggest issue is the cover art situation. many times i attempted to release a project and a week later was told that it couldn’t be released because my cover art was “blurry” even when i selected “cover art is blurry but it’s supposed to be” . when this happens your 3 weeks until release completely restarts. if these problems are fixed than this could be an extremely beneficial app for up and coming artists, but until then, i will gladly pay a website such as Landr $6 a month to have my music perfectly released as soon as 1-3 days of submission.

Dude... it’s ridiculously outstanding

I’m gonna get my one and only complaint out of the way. I wish the uploading didn’t take forever.

Okay, now that’s done. AmuseMusicDistribution is amazing! Where has this been my whole life? AmuseMusicDistribution puts you out there FOR FREE! I’ve had none of the issues that some of the reviews addressed. My songs have been reviewed and in stores right on queue and 100% accurate. I’ve been with TuneCore, ReverbNation and Spinnup; none of these came even close to what Amuse has done for me... and I didn’t pay a cent.

I was with TuneCore for 9 years and I’ve been with Amuse for 2 weeks - the difference is off the charts! Anyone that is a serious musician and is frustrated constantly by the stonewalls of big music need look no further.

Here’s what you get over the other guys:

- comprehensive artwork formatting (i.e. if want that blurry spot, just let ‘em know).
- stupid fast release dates.
- unheard of artist SEO.
- easy to use UI.
- real time production updates.
- a genuine chance to get signed by a company that cares enough to foot the bill to let you try.
- lightning quick support.
- if I said it once, I’ve said it 600 times: IT’S FREE!!!

Thanks Amuse for being awesome!

FREE Distribution

AmuseMusicDistribution is amazing! I’ve released many singles and 2 albums using Amuse. Your music gets distributed to all platforms for FREE and you do get to keep 100% of revenue you earn. The support team is amazing as well! Whenever I had an issue they would email me back in 2-4 business days and help me resolve my issues. Before I started using Amuse, I was using TuneCore to distribute my music and I was paying $10 just to distribute a single and I never made that money back from revenue. I found out about Amuse and immediately made a switch and I’m happy to say that it was my best transition.

If you have a few minutes to spare, please go listen to my single called “Kinda Love” by WBG Knox. Available on every platform (thanks to amuse❤️)

Music not releasing on release date.!!!

I’ve been using. Amuse for a year and a half now, i was really intrigued with the performance and capabilities AmuseMusicDistribution produced . But now the new rules about the logos in the cover art is ridiculous.!!! We have a whole album and we have been unable to drop it because, regardless of which cover art we’ve chosen out of the 30 or so we’ve created none of them were accepted.! And it’s got to be any little logo cause I mean we barely have two lines in the most recent one and those are considered as logos ? Idk what sense that makes because everything we’re introduced to in this world has a logo .!!!! We can’t even use our OWN BRANDED LOGO😔Please figure something out .!

PHOTO CHANGE

Im a very huge supporter of AmuseMusicDistribution . I have been using it since 2017 🙌🏾 and released my first song through this awesome app. I love it. My only slight complaint is that when I put my music on Apple Music I can’t change the picture that is on my profile when you search me on Apple Music.

Unless I’m just slow and haven’t figured out another obvious way to do it lol, could you guys add an option so that when our music is posted on different streaming sights, they all have our profile picture that we set for the Amuse app? I think it’s kinda irritating to fans seeing my song cover art as my apple music profile pic instead of (my actual face) Amuse profile pic.

Having an issue releasing!

So I’ve completed my FIRST EP. Ready to release it and during the process, it keeps telling me that my Isrc “doesn’t match the pattern”. But it’s supposed to generate one for you when you don’t have an existing one. It’s not doing so. And now my EP release date is supposed to be the 28th of this month but it won’t make it. And it’s about 2020 so I do NOT want to release it next year 🤦🏽‍♂️
And I’ve sent emails, but no one has contacted me back. I’m thinking of going with another Distribution company. I didn’t pay for Pro just to go through this. The free version never gave me this type of issue.

Songs keep getting denied for no real reason.

I have the free version of AmuseMusicDistribution. It worked for a while, I was able to upload a lot of music for a while. Then, all of a sudden out of the blue 3 of my releases got denied in a row because “there was sampling”. I had NO samples whatsoever in those songs. I tried re submitting one of the projects that got denied twice and the third time it finally got cleared. Did everything exactly the same as the first 2 times. Not only that, it’s been about 2 months since, now my amuse app wont even open. I click on it and it just takes me to a blank grey screen now and I don’t want to delete and redownload it if I don’t have to. It can be a really good app, just needs these things fixed.

Good motivations behind this app

I am grateful that this organization is re-empowering artists in such a clear and obvious way. ....Of course I could complain about the weather while in Paris ... or whine about traffic in New York...(when it’s totally better and easier taking the subway)but what AmuseMusicDistribution amounts to in my mind is a group of people who are motivated to help artists. I’m not sure how they manage it but there is no up-front cost — OR percentage cost — to the artist, as it should be in a just world, but which, call me a cynic, I never would have expected from this one. A triumph for art and the cause of music made by humans.

Release issues.

Amuse is an ok distribution app for your music starting off but there are WAYY too many people having issues with their releases for me to recommend AmuseMusicDistribution to anyone. I am using it right now. I just dropped a song through amuse but it wasn’t distributed to all the stores that amuse is SUPPOSED to distribute to. Im using “amuse boost” by the way…yeah I paid for a subscription yet they aren’t delivering on what I paid for. I WILL NOT recommend anyone to use this or spend money on AmuseMusicDistribution UNLESS they fix this issue. There also seems to be issues with their support team. Apparently they take a while to respond to emails. I sent the support team an email so I’ll have to wait and see about this.

Set as “Upcoming Release”?

Love AmuseMusicDistribution !!! I’ve been using this for about a year now and I’ve put out some singles and albums with it, butIi was wondering if there could be a way to have an album or EP displayed as an “Upcoming Release” on Apple Music if the user decides to have it displayed that way and/or if you could have different tracks from the album/EP release at different times. (For example, a single from the full release comes out a week before the entire album/EP)
That’s my only suggestion, other than that AmuseMusicDistribution is 10/10!

GREAT UNTIL HYPERWALLET

I am an artist that has been using amuse for some time (I would say about 2+ years) and I NEVER had a problem with getting my money out. But then came hyperwallet that has prevented me from pulling my money for the past 4+ months. For the very first time I logged into the hyperwallet portal the email told me I have to make an account. I go to the website and there is NO register button. So I use my email and my password that I use for amuse. That did not work AT ALL and it got to the point where they suspended my account and I’ve never even logged in once. The customer service number is just to some card company and I feel as if they will not help me one bit. Everything was fine until they added hyperwallet and made things so difficult . I just want my money that I earned using this company nothing else.

Respect pro users

There is always a hassle when I’m trying to drop projects and release my music and it puts me in a inconvenience when I’m posting and saying an estimate release time and then come bacc an my release has to be resent again, again, and again... by now I would take that this isn’t the user fault but the error in the system I’ve tried different devices and I’m on 5G so it’s not my connection- that’s an excuse... then getting help is a hassle, tried partnering relations I can’t get a reply from nobody, I love music... Trying to submit on AmuseMusicDistribution , it’s reading “minimum duration can be 3 secs.... and the file was 4 min long.... it’s a hassle and I’m not feeling that the money I pay to y’all is being respected it’s like I’m being taken as a joke... not being seen as a pro user

My Honest Review

Great platform, the fact that you do not charge a thing for sending songs to stores is awesome and I recommend you guys on this. But the problem here is having to subscribe for a boost or pro plan. I have been trying to upgrade using my iTunes credit having more than the boost plan rate and you keep tell me insufficient credit, it actually hurts because I really need to make use of the Facebook and Instagram features as well as. This is the only reason I didn’t get to rate you 5star on this review. Please try and fix this, Thanks.
Meanwhile y’all go check me out “ Tygafella “ is the name ❤️

Good concept

Overall a pretty good and effective app for distributing your music. I’ve used them for 2+ years now. I currently use the free version and there are some hiccups in the sense they take some time to resolve certain issues. However, it’s a free service and they do a good job of accommodating me, an independent artist. If you are more serious and are already popping as an artist, I would recommend paying for the pro plan, I will probably try it later on once I get bigger as an artist. Hopefully this feedback is helpful

Strict Cover Art

I don’t like the fact that they have strict cover art regulations, as an artist your cover art is apart of your creativity & they need to fix that because if your cover art doesn’t get approved then your 21 day release starts all over, it’s extremely frustrating. They lost me because of that I submitted my cover art 3 times and still won’t get approved & then when you ask them to help you understand what needs to be done so you can get approved they won’t do help, that’s why I switched over to Distro Kid, I got my cover art & release approved in no time ! Plus they have all these great benefits that help you grow as an artist so far I’m loving Distro Kid I’m kind of glad Amused messed up cause it lead me to something better, I guess everything happens for a reason huh.

Does everything right except one thing

When uploading I had an “issue with my audio” well after receiving no response from email after it instructed me to check my email for a answer to what was wrong, nothing. So I wrote a review about this, received a response from the devs. I had to check the website and look pretty far into the website to find out that it was a rule that wasn’t stated about in AmuseMusicDistribution or enforced when uploading about song length. Other than than, I’m sure it works good except for the lengthy release times.

Great to use for distribution, not for statistics.

So it was really easy to use AmuseMusicDistribution to get my music streamed on all the major platforms, but there is a lag and inconsistency in the statistical information (how many downloads, streams, and the financials). Thus far, it seems like AmuseMusicDistribution only provides data based on iTunes streams, but doesn't give streaming, download, or financial information from any other platform. For instance, 15 of my coworkers downloaded the song via iTunes or Google Play Music, and my stats still show “0 Downloads”. I also use a separate app to keep track of my google play streams. I’m well into the thousands, but stats from amuse show only a couple hundred ITunes streams.

So Easy to use

So I have been trying to release a song on apple music for like 2 years so on my pc i googled best aggregators and found amuse. I downloaded AmuseMusicDistribution and a day later uplaoded my ep. One day after that, at 4 in the morning, I heard a beep on my phone which woke me up and the alert said my ep was approved and would be released on the planned date. And i was like so happy!!! I also uploaded a single which has not been approved yet (but thats because its a weekend). So this is an all around great app!!!

Check out Eye Sore - EP by Golden Key!!!
Thx

New update

I love AmuseMusicDistribution great way to be able to put your music out when you don’t have a professional label... however the new update seems to have a lot of bugs and things that the developers NEED to fix. I’ve already had a song out and i’ve been keeping track i go on today and there is a new update, i update and go on AmuseMusicDistribution and it’s a completely blank screen. I closed it tried again and it worked but none of my information or my profile was showing up, i logged out to see if that would work and now i can’t log in or reset my password!!? Please fix!!

Too Much Wait

AmuseMusicDistribution is truly amazing, I love it, I truly do, But theres just one thing that's making it kind of a bummer and that is the time it takes to release a song/album/EP, Ive been using AmuseMusicDistribution for years and back then it used to take just 1 Week to review a song and Release it to all Platforms, But now its taking a whole month to review a song and then releasing it on all stores, I'm hoping you guys can Fix that issue and bring the faster review and release back Please! I have released singles, albums and EP's thru AmuseMusicDistribution and I am completely satisfied with the Service appreciate it alot, Just need to be Faster processing, The fact that I Upload a Single and have to wait a whole month till its reviewed and approved its truly frustrating, I want to get my songs on Platforms as soon as posible and all that wait is not helping :(

Cant even explain how happy I am!!

Too start of let me tell y’all I have been using Amuse for about a year now. It is easy to understand, and looks very clean. These are some small things that make Amuse good. What really makes Amuse stand out is the amazing support team. They are always working to help you fix issues and are listening to comments you make. They just made an update for something I have been asking for . I am indescribably happy!! I highly recommend!!!

It’s okay I guess but read my full review to understand

So I get AmuseMusicDistribution and I’m excited. I upload all my songs and it’s asked for a email to verify, I give them my email to verify and it takes like 16 hours to get my email. Then a week later while I’m waiting for my songs to be approved it’s says they did not approve a CLEAN album no curse words nothing! They say to check my email to see why and I’ve been waiting for 10+ hours just to know why MY SONG, TOTALLY CLEAN is not being approved. I understand that it’s free and since it’s free it not going to be perfect but Jesus. Besides that app is aight

If I could give negatives I would

My track has been “In Review” since December and thought it was just going slow cause of the Holidays or whatever, here it is the 6th of January and still no update on the track saying, approved or not approved, but yet I used Reverbnation and they got my other songs on multiple platforms within not even a full day. If you wanna put a single or album out, just pay for it, you’ll be better off doing so

So far! So good!

After finally getting my cover art right! The process was fast and easy, I was emailed right away every time I got it wrong! Which I loved because it wasn’t a long process that might’ve caused issues with the release date.
If things go right on the other parts! I plan on releasing a lot of original music right after this first release. Just follow what’s being told and and it’s very easy! So for now I have to give AmuseMusicDistribution 5 stars

My experience with Amuse, a music distribution platform, has been deeply disappointing and frustrating. Despite my efforts to reason with them and request a proper explanation supported by evidence, they have unjustly suspended my account. The lack of transparency and accountability displayed by Amuse throughout this ordeal is concerning. Despite multiple attempts to engage with their support team and seek clarification, I have been met with silence or vague responses that fail to address my concerns. As an artist who relies on platforms like Amuse to distribute my music, the sudden suspension of my account has not only caused financial loss but also significant stress and uncertainty. What is particularly troubling is the absence of any clear justification or evidence provided by Amuse to support their decision. Furthermore, the lack of communication regarding the process for resolving the issue or appealing the suspension has left me feeling powerless and frustrated. It's disheartening to see a platform that claims to support independent artists act in such an arbitrary and unfair manner. In light of my experience, I would caution other artists and music professionals against relying solely on Amuse for their distribution needs. It's essential to choose a platform that values transparency, fairness, and open communication with its users. Overall, my experience with Amuse has been profoundly disappointing, and I hope they take steps to improve their customer service and accountability in the future.

Amuse sucks balls and shortly after I purchased Pro I removed all my songs from Amuse before they were even approved. They suck because I asked them for my 60 dollers back for paying for Pro when I won't ever be using it anymore and they refused. My Pro membership is less than 1 month old and Amuse isslow as fuk to get your releases in the stores. Distrokid is way better, faster and provides the proper license for Cover songs too. Amuse does not. I expect my refund and I won't be using Amuse ever again nor will I recommend this service to anybody. It's overpriced for no better features than what's already put there in fact, they lack important features. Give me my money back
