Previously had “touch screen “login capability
When attempting this time it required a brand new sign in and did not offer for me to use fingerprint.
Which then caused me to have to reset my password, which a request was made online via a laptop, but the email never arrived.
Had to wait 24 hours and just redid the request to be able to reset password which the email arrived immediately.
So if the touch/fingerprint sign-on had worked initially Action would have been completed much more efficiently and when expected.
Additionally, the camera feature is excellent for you bees and the invoices. However for the canceled checks that are required to show payment, they need to be downloaded from the bank site and therefore you have to go use a desktop in order to upload that portion for validation. Not exactly helpful

obviously the FSA is a product provides by bofa to your employer, who is the real customer. the incentive is to create friction in the experience to make you less likely to use your funds. i especially like how the account claims it can link to your regular bank of america acct, on MyHealthBofA that actually works, but no, when you do that the two bofa products cannot actually communicate. not surprised by any of this corporate silliness of course in our late stage capitalist hellscape, but funny they should ask me for a review.

MyHealthBofA used to be great. After not using it for a while, I went back in, and it made me reset my password. I did this a few times, and each time the password I had just reset would not allow me to login. Finally, I tried to login to the website with that same password I had just reset and was denied access with, and it let me get through.
I have not been able to get into MyHealthBofA for months, and even when I talked to customer support, they told me to do the exact same thing that I had already done. I must be caught in some kind of a glitch, but unfortunately, MyHealthBofA is completely worthless to me at this point as only the website allows me to log in. Not impressed.

I swear that most of the time I try to use MyHealthBofA on my iphone or iPad, it returns a login error. Tried to use the password reset, but don’t get the emails. This time I called customer service at 10:30 pm CST. Was surprised to get American speaking individual, but still took me 5 attempts to come up with a new password. Seems BoA CAN’T bother providing pop-up stating password can’t be one of previous 8 passwords. On top of that, after I finally came up with new acceptable password via the browser path, neither mobile app would recognize the new password. What a cluster f&@%.

Poorly designed, unreliable app. They show 3 different amounts in 3 different spots for payback requests which is confusing and unhelpful. They deny anything and everything and reps have no interest in actually helping get it resolved. Usually it’s no I can’t do that or there’s nothing you can do or we can do. Each year they’ve denied claims that are IRS approved and decline receipts sometimes with and sometimes without explanation. Last year it was a chiropractor bill. I gave them 6 or 7 receipts that match their own requirements and they denied it every time. This year it’s a surgery bill. My last FSA never did this. Worst service I’ve used by far and MyHealthBofA looks like and functions like it came from 2008. I’m done using this FSA because of MyHealthBofA and the service. I’ll just pay out of pocket since that’s what they routinely make me do anyway. Just next year I won’t lose nearly $2500.

You guys don’t tell people what specific items are denied. You didn’t give us the option to roll over our full balance this yr even though the IRS said that you could. You hoping to steal money from your own employees. You’re an absolute disgrace to your company. This is money we set aside for medical needs and many of us couldn’t spend it all due to covid. I hope everyone associated with this flex spending account gets investigated for the harm you’re causing the employees and I hope you all wind up in jail for it too!

I’ve had MyHealthBofA since my employer switched our Healthcare Coverage to HSA only and offered a HSA plan through our employee portal to ease the switch from traditional coverage to what we have now.
MyHealthBofA has never functioned well. The primary dysfunction is upon logging in, MyHealthBofA will not recognize the correct password and deny login attempts until it blocks further tries or I must reset the password.
If it was a couple of times, fine. But it’s been dozens. I am currently at my breaking point and will be looking for a way to transfer out without tax events in order to not deal with this. Apparently the denial of correct password error also extends to denial of accurate security questions. I know this because when I set these questions I stored them safely using copy/paste and when I applied them I used copy/paste. It’s impossible that they are wrong, they have never been updated. But I’m still getting denials to log into my account.
TL;DR - Those in charge of the functionality of MyHealthBofA do not seem to care and since I store my money here and think it should be better, I will be leaving.

MyHealthBofA worked the first time. Login experience is very poor. In particular, with biometric login enabled it STILL prompts you for the security questions in addition to the user ID and password. The security questions worked the first day we used it and failed to work at all the next day. Called customer service and they tried to convince me that I had made typos even though I explained that I had inspected their entry using the “eyeball” in the entry field to unhide them before submission. Tried to suggest it was a mixed case error. Besides that I told them that my wife, who has her own phone and app and a DIFFERENT account, was having the same issue. Customer service in the CHAT was totally unhelpful. We have abandoned MyHealthBofA and will just use the web instead.

I rarely open my account, usually annually, to bring my records up to date, to make my contribution and to make a large payment from the account.
Each time I try to open the account it does not recognize my former password and requires me to jump thru multiple hoops to get a new one. This time I was even asked to put in my “hire date!” I am not an employee! So start again.... I will not successfully get a new password until I finally reach a representative. Your representatives have been very helpful each time, including my rep from this time, Sophia, and then the job is done quickly and easily.
Upon finally getting into my account, I find the directions have changed, again, from a year ago and I must go thru a few commands until I find the “bank” record of my account.
So I am not happy with your app & I dread coming back next year. It has always puzzled me that MyHealthBofA compares so poorly with my regular B of A account. It does an outstanding job. So it’s not B of A, it’s your app designer. Good luck!!

We have been long time BOA customers but the HSA has given us more problems than I could have imagined. Our password works once in a blue moon and we are constantly having to reset it. Also, resetting online is not a possibility. So it requires calling and sitting on hold. Reset the password, it works for a week...kicked back out. It isn’t incorrect password entry bc I use facial recognition for most of my passwords. Their security set up is flawed and it is pretty annoying.

App is helpful to show you how much money you have in the account. It does not allow you to change elections. Also, I was super excited for the Scan Item for Eligibility function, but it just does not work. There isn’t an alternative option to manually search for a barcode number or manually search for an item by name. If this function actually worked and didn’t just exist for show, MyHealthBofA would be 5 stars and amazing.

I will start by acknowledging that BOA has provided an app to support their management of FSA accounts - and for that they get are you positive rating.
The ability to take pictures of receipts and upload them to a claim is a positive.
However the design could be improved upon to make the information more valuable.
For instance: It would be good to see a statement like summary of claims showing the status of the claim as pending, paid, or awaiting doc. Currently you have to go in to each claim to see the status or go to a different screen to see items paid.
Another enhancement would be to allow the printing or exporting of information on claims and payments.
On the uploading of receipts it would be good if the user had the option of taking a picture of the receipt or attaching an image already taken.
Hopefully someone at Bank of America is looking at the reviews and considering some needed enhancements.

Clearly the first major app update for this product, and overall not bad. Simple, yet efficient. I like the click to call feature to go right to the automated system to speak to a rep. Claim information is posted just fine and gives the full description of the claim approved or denied. Also like the implementation of certain areas of MyHealthBofA taking you to the mobile version of the website. Would recommend finding a way to have MyHealthBofA auto-log you in to your account from MyHealthBofA . Not sure why people complain about the auto-lockout and having to re-enter info. Practically all major financial institutions have time limits of how long you can be on there without touching anything. Its to protect the most sensitive info you have. It's not going to burden your day reentering your info. Touch ID will eventually come to MyHealthBofA , but that requires funding to work with Apple. Would be a nice feature for some clients, but it's not the end all-be all for logins.

First, let me say, I love MyHealthBofA! The turnaround time is fantastic & I love that it has facial recognition (even though now I’ve heard that’s scary/bad). Anywho, it all goes sideways for me when....
I keep forgetting since there’s usually a gap between reimbursement requests how to upload a receipt. When I get it from daycare/preschool I forget I have to print it out (um, hello, this is all supposed to be digital) and take a picture of it. Even though I get the invoice digitally and would much prefer to simply attach the email or even save & upload the attachment.

MyHealthBofA works most of the time. It is a bit slow and sometimes will error out, meaning I have to re-enter the entire transaction. Additionally, from a user interface perspective I would like to upload and save most of my transactions for later, but the buttons to submit vs. save for later are both the same size/color. Not a problem per se, but more likely to cause me to inadvertently choose the wrong option. Additionally when I was doing initial massive upload of lots of historical transactions MyHealthBofA kept timing out, causing me to have to re-authenticate. If I’m actively using MyHealthBofA it shouldn’t time out. I would also prefer to set a manual timeout interval based on my own risk tolerance.

App is good. I really like it. However, one crucial capability it needs is to be able to make mobile deposits. I received a check from my health insurance for a claim I submitted, and I had to deposit the check in my regular account from another bank and then make the transfer. Everything else looks good in MyHealthBofA.

MyHealthBofA has been really convenient and user friendly. I have one complaint/enhancement request. Allow upload from camera fill for receipts. In time of COVID or not, a lot of these receipts that are retrieved after-the-fact, are downloaded electronically. Then you have to print it out and take a picture of it because it won’t allow the nice, clear electronic image that was on your camera roll. Seems easier for whomever reviews it too, for them to not have to review a photo of a piece of paper.

I had to open a HSA for work and I came across this one, I usually wouldn’t choose BA for the high monthly fees but to my surprise this is actually not bad, MyHealthBofA is easy to use and I don’t struggle with medical/glasses or OTC coverage as I would with others the only down fall is the processing times which is usually business days only but overall is fine.

I have months where MyHealthBofA won’t open. When I do get it opened, it crashes frequently. Most frustrating app I have every had in my phone. Serious bugs that continue to pop up. BOA you need better than this.

Opening a Bank of America HSA account was the best decision I could have made. They are extremely professional, helpful and I not nit run into any problems using their services. I would definitely recommend them to others and actually already have - many times over!
I constantly promote Bank of America HSA
