The latest update which adds carpooling, totally breaks the functionality I’ve enjoyed for years. First of all, I was forced to switch from the MNR dedicated version to this generic version because the verification email links only point at this version’s App Store page, not the version I’d actually been using. Secondly the verification emails don’t open the app. Therefore the app never gets the notification that the email address is verified. Instead, the verification emails always open the link to the App Store. When pressing the open button in the App Store takes me to the app but doesn’t cause the email verification to complete. I’ve tried it a dozen times, with it feeling 100% of the time. This new version also refuses to hold my default route. I have to bring up one of my favorite routes in order for it to open anything. Previously when I would open the onTime app, it would show my default schedule. Now I have to explicitly select it every single day. If you have not yet upgraded, for the love of all that’s good, please do not do so. Developer, please fix this rubbish.

the new update (and subsequent "fix") has made the app so crowded with ads that there is no bandwidth left for actual useful train information.
The train timelines and track information takes longer to load than the ads for Lyft and i have not seen any accurate information nor track numbers
This update is terrible and i will go elsewhere for my train info.
An example of how unhelpful this app is - i was on a train to Stamford scheduled to arrive at 7:04 pm and the app said it was 31 minutes late - it was 7:06 and we were PULLING into the Stamford station - talk about the absolute opposite of being accurate!

The reliability of knowing what track the train comes in on is about 45% right. There should be no reason why they can’t get this right but then again this is LIRR on a good weather day they have switch problems never mind drizzle, snow and can you believe wind is a factor.... get real lirr. With all our money per month spend some on your infrastructure and get better supervisors to keep your men from hiding and sleeping in dark corners we see them out there.
