Waste of time and a fraud

I wouldn’t waste my time with TheFramery and I’m. Not quite sure who’s been paid to write anything positive about TheFramery. The directions provide fake/ false calibration with a robotic response. In fact, I finally removed my glasses just to see what the automated voice would say. Of course, “right there” she states in her British accent; all the while my eyeglasses were never in the equation.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD! I’m upset I have to even provide one star versus five negative stars. Do not waste your time.

It works but MAJOR concern...

DON’T USE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD, PICTURE GETS TAKEN!! I used this to test against another pupillary distance measuring app and pretty much got the same result which was great. I found that I did not need to use a magnetic card to get the result, I just used a paper gift card. My concerns come from the end just before it gives the PD result, it asks you to smile and then takes this picture which you’ll never find or see. I was smart enough to have my card turned around with no information showing but what was the picture for and what if I wasn’t smart enough to turn my card around? Why do you ask for a magnetic card which most will choose a credit/debit card with the number indented on the back? What information is this company storing and how are you using it? HUGE CONCERN...

beware of data collection policy

To measure, TheFramery requires a magnetic strip card. In most cases, people will use credit cards found in their wallets. By virtue of taking an image of the card, TheFramery collects your credit card information, partially or fully. It is not clear if the images used are deleted or retained, and if the image scanned are used to extract additional information (e.g. name, card number, exp date, institution, etc) beyond distance/scaling measurements. Normally I would think about these issues before using any app, but now I am regretting having used it knowing a picture of my credit card is on their servers.
EDIT: the developer policy states the company will make “reasonable efforts” to apply an obfuscation algorithm on the image for details. It is still not clear if the initial raw images are saved somewhere and how good this algorithm is.
2nd EDIT: developer response is reassuring.

Great app got my PD Numbers In Under 5 Minutes For Free Really Love This App

I didn’t need a ruler only a credit/debit card to measure other then the scanning troubles I had to get the right lighting it was great💯

Wow!! So Easy!!

It took less than a minute to determine my PD once I found a magnetic card! Bravo! A practical easy to use app! I love it!!

Quick and easy PD measurement

Excellent use of a regular household item as a reference for quick and easy pupillary distance measurement.

Easy

It was easy to follow the instructions. The results matched my prescription perfectly.

Fun and simple

For those scared of the magnetic card, I just used a David&Busters one. No need to whip out your credit card lol
Also enjoyed the guided voice instructor!!

Amazing!

I tried other ways including using the mm ruler to no avail. TheFramery is very easy to use with exceptionally quick results!

Wonderful!

Quick, easy, clear instructions to use while getting online glasses!

Not frustrated anymore

I tried several apps to measure my pd. I can’t see to do it alone. This was by far the easiest app for measuring pd. Thank you so much.

Easy, cool, free

Thank you for allowing me to get my PD for free. I appreciate your app and the voice that walked me through the process. It was easy and painless, thanks for sharing your expert technology. Happy 2022!!!

Best in class

TheFramery is the best in class if you want to see you IPD it’s super easy and only takes a minute at most. It’s also great to know what setting you should use for VR

Amazing accuracy.

I’m shocked. I used a pair of glasses I knew the exact prescription of, and it got both SPH and CYL perfectly, and the Axis identical on the right and off by only 1 on the left. Seriously insane. More accurate than my optician!

Great instructions

It was fantastic to use. Instructions easy to follow and we’re given verbally. A step by step guide. Only problem I had was how far away to hold the phone.

Exceeded expectations and delivered results

Wow, I wasn’t quite expecting such a great app to measure my pupillary distance. TheFramery provides voice commands which are accurate and easy to follow. The developers made TheFramery super easy to use and understand. Fantastic execution.

Awesome app

I used a random card (don’t you your debit card or anything that has any personal information). But it didn’t take long at all the results were given super fast and accurate! I definitely recommend TheFramery!

Just Works

I went to an eye glass place and they did not want to give me my PD but mentioned the total of both numbers. I wanted to order another pair off of an online store and wanted to confirm the measurements and they were spot on with the number I recall. Easy to use too.

Saved Time and My Online Order

The online retailer recommended the Glasses On app to measure the pupillary distance. It was easy to find in TheFramery Store, and easy to download. The tutorial was a breeze, and I now have the PD for the glasses retailer to finish my prescription order. Thank you to Glasses On for making this possible.

Best App!

TheFramery is so easy to use with voice instructions and instant results. So much better than other apps that waste your time with no guidance.

Garbage

I have been trying to do the second part for like 20 mins. Just keeps saying I did it wrong but I’m doing what’s in the video.

Inconsistent

Inconsistent measurements. Cannot immediately rem asure for accuracy/ no set or redo feature.

ok

It took like 6 tries, Remember to have a lot of light available. i had to go setting and brighten the phone display

Pupillary distance app

Quick easy accurate .

Pd

Very fast & right on the money thank you

That was easy great exclamation!

Pretty easy to use.

Nice App

Quick and easy!

Pleasantly surprised

So I broke my glasses and I had no idea where my script was and the last eye center I went to said they didn’t keep scripts after 2 years, so I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t afford to go to an eye doctor and somehow I stumbled across TheFramery while searching to see if it’s possible to get the script from the actual lenses. I was like no way is this actually gonna work but I was desperate. It gave me a result and I ordered some $89 frames & lenses from Liingoeyewear.com . Holy crap it actually worked, if it’s not my exact script it’s dang close cause I can see just fine. Thank you so much for TheFramery!!!

It worked

My iPhone 6 Plus was good to use not like another app I attempted. Got my PD which ideas I was looking for.
