I love cbtl and this app is great
I love CBTL, this is legit the only app that doesn’t require you to purchase a gift card vs Starbucks and Dunkin which require you to get a gift card. I like that you get points by the dollar spent. I also love that almost weekly there are bogo drinks and tons of coupons! The app ordering is easy and I really can’t complain. I just wish there was more locations in Arizona! Especially in the east valley. I love the Tempe Marketplace location and Chandler! The staff is super friendly , knowledgeable and up beat! If you want good coffee and quality products you should stop at The coffee bean and tea leaf ditch nasty coffee joints like Dutch brothers /Starbucks.

Much improved!
This app used to be so basic, it was pretty much useless except for payments and scanning for points (which at 1 point per dollar doesn't come close to comparing to Starbucks rewards program). 540 to reach top level?? That's 540 dollars spent with no other incentives). Anyway, the app itself is much improved now with mobile order and pay and you can add special instructions. I have no issues with this app. Order, automatically get points, choose payment method and pick up your order. Perfect!

Would be PERFECT with tipping!
The issues mentioned in that 3-Star review from Nov. 2016 seem to have been addressed — I haven’t dealt with needing to scan twice for rewards and payment, and you can order ahead from within the app, at stores that support it. The only thing that’s missing to my eyes is the ability to tip in the app after a transaction, with the stored money on the card. I rarely have cash, and without this feature in the app, I have to use a debit/credit card if I want to tip (which I do!). Please add this feature soon!
