Update May 2021: I am saying goodbye to Cladwell with the latest update. It was one of my most used apps - I had a 200+ day outfit logging streak. But this recent update ruined it for me. The sideways scrolling prevents me from seeing my whole wardrobe at a glance, and the feature that tells how long it’s been since your wore a piece is gone. I used this quarterly to purge unworn items from my closet. I am switching to Stylebook and have been enjoying it so far. Sad to say goodbye.

This has become one of my favorite and most-used apps. It helps me make better use of the clothes I have, strategically make new purchases, and avoid impulse buys. It also makes travel packing infinitely easier. A couple suggestions: I’d like the ability to choose a different location to plan outfits with the weather for upcoming trips. More athletic/athleisure clothing choices would be nice. Also, I fear the price is too high for me to recommend it to my friends. I hope it doesn’t cease to exist for lack of users!

I’ve been using Cladwell a long time. I stopped using the app when they started charging. Recently, I noticed it wasn’t as expensive as it was initially so I became a member. I’m disappointed. While I enjoy the outfits I am recommended, it doesn’t seem like it’s a smart app. I log all of my outfits daily and I still get the same clothes suggested almost every day. Shouldn’t the algorithm be smarter than that? If I just said I wore this sweater today, why are you suggesting it as an outfit for tomorrow? And why suggest that I wear sandals in the winter? I also am disappointed with the filter options; there aren’t enough in my opinion. What am I paying for? It’s no different than it was when it was free. It’s actually less helpful than before. I paid for the year so I’m keeping it. But I expected more.

I’ve used this app for 2-3 years. I left a review a while ago saying that I loved the app but paying $8/month was ridiculous.
And now that I think about it, the app hasn’t added any new features in the several years that I’ve been using it, aside from the AI chatbot (which is useless because it can’t actually see your wardrobe). I left a review with a few suggestions that would make the app better, and it was completely ignored.
I’ve paid them AT LEAST $150 for this app subscription. That’s crazy. If they had an option for like, $30/year instead of $8/month, I’d consider it. I like the layout of the app and being able to create outfits so easily. But paying that much for a wardrobe app? In this economy? Nope, I cancelled my subscription and deleted it.
