Let’s see It should use Apple pay, why do I have to give my CC details to get another company! Didn’t charge my CC properly, have to get hotel to start machine for me 1 washer not working, it tries to book me on it 1 dryer is not even there, it tries to book me on it. I don’t have any choice to book which washer or dryer I can use So, just about everything that can go wrong did!!! Good luck if you have to use WeWash. Good idea but very poor execution, clearly not ready to be used
I saw no ability to use Apple Pay, and it seems the way WeWash was presented to me that I HAD to register a CC. Also, my complaint is not about wanting to pick a machine, but not being assigned a machine that is Out Of Order!
Oh, and please this is not a lifestyle!!, I’m just trying to wash my clothes! Thankfully the hotel was able to override this apps inconsistencies.
Took my Seven euros, (!!!!) didn’t fully wash my clothes, and released the drier 10 minutes into my load of jeans. The only way to restart it was to pay to restart the entire load of laundry, AKA, pay another mf 3 EUROS. They billed me for a reservation I didn’t make and won’t refund me my money, only credit.
I’m using this system while traveling and will (hopefully) NEVER use again, making any credit properly useless. It won’t accept my MasterCard as payment and now I have no idea how to pay the bill for a service that I wouldn’t recommend to my least favorite people.
If I run into the creator of this god awful system, just know, it’s on sight
This is a stupid idea. WeWash doesn’t allow you to reserve a machine for a specific time. After I tried to reserve a machine, it showed immediately that my clothes were washing. I was still in my hotel room. We went to the laundry room and sure enough someone’s clothes was in the washer. I was charged for a wash I never got to do because there is no way for the washer to know who you are - so anyone can load their clothes in and run it. Whoever designed WeWash needs to test using it to understand how stupid it is. A coin operated washer system would have made more sense!
I have never left an app review before but this is a waste of time other than a laundry payment system, not what I was expecting based on the brochure. No timer is connected with washer or dryer, washer completed 8 minutes before my own personal timer. Never notified via app ever that clothes were cleaned or not.
If you need a second round of drying, it will not recognize your clothes already in a dryer so you have to move them to different dryer and start over. Disappointed
3€ per use is quite expensive and for a relatively small washer. App wasn’t able to connect on several occasions, a few times with connection errors and once unable to open after washing.
-WeWash itself is often out of service, with a blank home screen and no way to refresh it
-WeWash often doesn’t recognize machines in the building
-the prices are high and yet the dryers don’t dry completely
-no connection to machine timers
No refund if machine malfunctions or does not dry your close in an hours time!!!
It does the job and unlike most automated laundry machine companies, this app allows you to open and close the machines whenever you want if you want to add/remove something. The issue I have is that people can take your laundry without you noticing. I highly recommend this app to create a notification system that notifies the user whenever their machine is opened.
Additionally, I disagree with their dryers. Despite selecting the settings you want, I always find that the dryers add more time to the duration if it feels that the clothes are not dry enough. If you wash with delicate fabrics, over-drying will harm them!
The wewash app took me a while to work out. I then went downstairs to the hotel laundry where wewash had allotted me my machine. I elected the 78 minute cycle. At the end of the cycle I went back and the door would not open. A porter came, and opened the door and the washing was absolutely sopping wet. He switched my sopping clothes into a different machine and told me to wait 8 minutes for the spin cycle on a different machine. I waited, then it said open the door. I opened it and the washing was still sopping wet. I went to the front desk and complained saying I did not come to London to play with washing machines, especially at the price this hotel charges to stay here. I got an apology, and the porter came and put my stuff into a dryer sopping wet. I said that will not dry, and some of it is fragile, I want it spun dried on this particular cycle to air dry some items. He said the dryer would dry without heat on one particular cycle. I said without heat these clothes will not dry, they need to be spun dried first, there is nowhere to wring out this sopping washing, there is no sink to do it. I did not get charged for the dryer he activated, but he said it would not be ready for 70 minutes. I said I doubt it will be dry by then, if any change at all. I am furious, wasting time on this stupid app, why can't you just put coins in and be done with it.
