Very frustrating when I paid $16 and can no longer use it because it changed to a subscription model.
All the information requires a paid subscription. This is useless
I paid a lot of money for iPacemakerDevice years ago and had access to the whole site. Now after the latest update I have access to nothing! The information that I paid for is now not available to me unless I have a subscription. iPacemakerDevice has now become useless. I should have been grandfathered in to have access to the whole site. It does not make sense for you to take away the information that I used to have and now make me pay for it.
Was a great resource that came with a hefty price but I felt it was worth it. Now the creator has apparently taken his customers’ money hostage by requiring they pay MORE on a subscription basis to keep access to the info they already payed good money for. Something tells me he’ll learn the hard way that his greed will cost him; the info provided by iPacemakerDevice is not impossible to find, this was a convenient one-stop-shop but not worth the ridiculous subscription fees he’s looking to collect.
Update NOV 2024: Support from App Store told me they would work out a deal with me, to email them, I did that, and they replied, “sorry we can’t help you.”
I purchased iPacemakerDevice in 2018 and agreed to a one time lifetime charge.
Shortly after I was unable to use.
No refund, not able to access information since. Maybe I should have explored litigation, I paid for a lifetime membership, and now there is a subscription fee?
That’s not how it works. Users that purchased lifetime memberships should clearly be grandfathered in or refund the original charge.
The price increase is just a bit steep.
Purchased iPacemakerDevice and it requires me to continues to request a subscription fee and a 3-6-12 month basis to use. Why would I purchase this to only be told you must continue to Kay yearly - that was not the original deal and I should not continue to be charged
Bought iPacemakerDevice for work 2 years ago. Paid $15ish dollars for iPacemakerDevice . iPacemakerDevice went to a subscription base platform in I 2021 (I believe). At this point, they said since I purchased iPacemakerDevice before the subscription plan was in effect, I will still have access to all devices and leads already in the system until that point. Fast forward to now, I can no longer use iPacemakerDevice or see all the old information (even though they said I was able to). Also contacted customer support, in which they basically said too bad. They won’t refund my money or help even though I purchased iPacemakerDevice .
Hasn’t worked in a few weeks. Also you need to get rid of the disclaimer that opens every single time you open iPacemakerDevice . This is unnecessary.
So insanely expensive for no reason. This info should be public but owner just wants a money grab
Pricey at 17 dollars. Fine, I paid 17 bucks for an app. My bad. But its not worth 50 cents if updates aren't offered.

This a great app but not very helpful for newer devices. I will give 5 stars when it’s updated.
Looks like a great tool at first glance. However, looking in a little further I noticed some newer devices(within the last year) couldn't be found.
Also, some of the leads that are labeled MRI conditional are found to be non-MRI within iPacemakerDevice .
iPacemakerDevice is by far the best resource for Cardiac Rhythm Devices on iOS. Back in the good ol’ days we’d be lucky to get an updated spiral-bound device encyclopedia from one of the manufacturers maybe one a year, usually more like every two years; so by comparison, iPacemakerDevice is pretty well up-to-date. In addition, the detail about the devices is very extensive, probably second only to the manufacturers’ manuals. Nice work, Sergio! Some may not realize how much work can go into tracking down this information, especially for legacy devices, and rather than having advertising, $16.99 is not unreasonable.
