I have three weeks to find a car before I go to Arizona and I finally find a Jeep after a week of looking, I create a account and I am immediately declined and told I have to wait 30 days to reapply because they searched how much money I make using transunion but I am a professional dog trainer who is paid off the books. I have a very reliable job with very high pay. I was told that I can reapply in 30 days but I don’t plan on changing my career so how is it gonna help me at all reapplying in 30 days if nothing is going to change? Extremely unreliable and you took away my time, something that I can’t get back. Should make it mandatory for people to make a account before being able to browse because all you did was ruin my plans and hopes. Best of luck to this company, I hope they take initiative to actually try to work with me and fix this problem not make me wait 30 days that I don’t have.
Update: My questions were answered with I don’t knows, what company can’t even answer there customers questions? That’s unreal. The only thing I was told if I don’t plan on changing my income then this might or might not be the same outcome, what kind of answer is that?! You guys got it going on, that’s for sure!!

I have been dealing with trying to get a car for about a month now. I call almost everyday and talk to all kind of people and no one and I mean no one seems to know nothing or cant fix anything. I got a vehicle delivered from Houston and it never worked. It looked like it had been in a accident. How could you guys not have people in the field looking at these vehicles before you waste money sending them to your customers. I had the vehicle 20 mins before I had to call and return it. It took them almost a week to pick it up. And I was told different. Almost another week to get it off my account to look for another one. Then Fair started messing up. Oh and when you call they hang up on you after you have waited a hour to spoke to someone. And when you do finally get thru they promise to help and call you back and never do. On top of this app took two start payments out and two payment for the car. Minded you.. I never drove the vehicle and was told I would not be charge for the vehicle. Had to wait a month to receive my funds back. And still waiting on some more. It’s very sad how this company is be presented because if this wasn’t the only ride share partner with Uber I would not at all use you. Did I mention I’m still waiting on a car and it over a month waiting.

This is by far was the worst experience in my life. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone I know. I had the car for 9 months in hopes that this app would switch it out or get the problem fixed. Even after taking it every month to Hyundai the problem was never fixed, just temporary. I was never offered another vehicle, but I was asked if I wanted another vehicle to spend more money on a down payment. Just saddens me that this company took advantage of me for 9 months because I needed it to get to school and work. I hope this company does better with their customers and doesn’t rip people off like myself. I am a full time college student with a full time job, just barley making it through in the Bay Area. Just seeing my money go to waste for a vehicle that was an inconvenience is unfortunate. I paid a total of $4,473 total or more for this vehicle. I would suggest to do better maintenance and inspect the vehicles that are being put for leasing on Fair. I would also suggest to actually care about the people who bring money to this company and the employees. Lastly, it would have been nice for one of the employees to actually care and fix the problem, instead of just hushing customers with gift cards.

I’ve been using this app for almost 6 months now to drive for Uber. I was having a great experience, until recently when I had to complete an Uber inspection to continue driving. After I completed my inspection, the only document I was missing was my car insurance, which needed to be uploaded onto my Uber platform. I’ve spoken to over 5 this app agents in the past week. And none of them have been able to help me get my insurance document. Two of them have told me to wait 24 hours, well I’ve been waiting for a whole week now! While others have been sending me documents to upload myself and none of them have worked! This has been the most unprofessional business I have ever been with. I spending over $200 a week to drive for Uber with this app, yet I can’t get the help I need from this app. I am extremely disappointed I wish I could just get my money back instead of paying for this week, but I already paid for the week to drive the vehicle.
I would highly not recommend this program to anyone. Extremely bad customer service and don’t spend your money on this program if you want to drive with Uber. They will just waste your time and keep telling you to wait as long as you are paying them, that’s all they care about.
I am currently having a terrible, terrible experience with this company. I discovered was given the incorrect car by the dealer after I noticed that the mileage reading didn’t match what was on the paperwork. After contacting this app I was told to return the car and that I would receive my deposit in 5-10 days. After 10 days I had not received the payment so I contacted this app who told me to contact my bank as it was an issue on their end. After lots of messaging (no phone number, no reply to emails) this app finally admitted that they had never processed the fee. I was told that they would post a cheque in the mail and that it would be sent in the post and would be sent a tracking number. When that wasn’t sent I was told by the employee that he had been refused permission to send the cheque and that the money would instead be sent to my account. It’s now 28 days since I returned the car and still no sign of the money (over $1000) and no replies to any emails. Always ask for a transcript of any chats you have through Fair as there is no way to save these conversations and this is not a trustworthy company. I have no idea if I will see this money again but at least I can save some others the stress of going through this. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

I have been a this app customer for about 9 months. In the last week my this app car has broken down 3 times. I called this app and they told me to take the car to the dealership for assessment. They couldn’t find anything. My car stalled last night again with my babies in the back seat. Seriously, I am so glad we hadn’t made it to the freeway yet. The car broke down again. I called this app through Fair . They gave me another number to call. This morning I spoke with about 5 people, some of them told me they were this app contractors. In the end I have 2 options: 1. Return the car that isn’t working and start new process to get new car (mind you, this will take a week and I still need to pay even though the car isn’t drivable and I would have to pay ANOTHER down payment) or tow the car to another shop to get fixed (with no rental or replacement in the meantime). Either way, I am paying to have a car that doesn’t work. This is insane. I should have just bought a car to begin with! There should be policies in place to support long term customers when this app cars break down. Why can’t I at least be pro rated for the days that the car will be in the shop? No rental car discount or reimbursement? I am reporting this to the BBB.

I’ve used this app for 2 years now.
Come around March I noticed some weird charges on my bill happening monthly. I have automatic payments set up with all my bills so I never have to worry about a thing. But while doing taxes I noticed these weird charges of “late fees” (never been late on a payment, HENCE AUTOMATIC PAY WITH A BANK IVE NEVER CHANGED) I call them and they say they’re going thru an audit (not a good sign) and not to worry they’ll handle it and pay me back. I notice AGAIN I’m being charged late. I call again. They say don’t worry they’ll handle. Months go by and I kinda forget about it because I’m traveling and again HAVE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS SET UP. I get a random call 3/4 months later saying I haven’t paid a bill and am passed due THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS. I go outside one day and my car was taken by them. They’re a scam. I shouldn’t have to check my bank everyday to make sure YOU'RE DOING YOUR PART as a company to get your money. My bank account has not changed since day one and always had money in it. You’re absolutely out of your minds over there. You should look into who your clients are because I do media all the time and can completely ruin your name as a brand for being scams and such shmucks. Do NOT get a car front them. EVER.

A friend recommended the this app app because we needed to lease a car for a few months and didn’t want to be locked into a longer lease. Unfortunately everything about our experience has been terrible. After selecting a car and adjusting the filters to see a price, the monthly payment said “with tax”. We selected the car and moved to a contract and when the contract arrived it said the “with tax” monthly payment was higher and the original amount was “without tax”. I contacted this app to point out Fair said the amount was with tax. After multiple chat messages I was transferred to a manager who said she would look into it. 30 minutes later she dropped off the chat and didn’t come back. I called and got the run around. As the time was expiring to complete the contract and we needed the car, I completed the contract but sent a message asking to have them still resolve the monthly payment amount. Then it got worse. I went to pick up the car. Despite being told it would be fast we were sitting at the dealer for two hours before it was ready. Then less than 24 hours later the car started having mechanical problems. I’ve been emailing this app and calling g the dealer and now have to take a day off work to take the car back in. This has been a nightmare. Don’t use Fair unless you have no other choice.

I have never wrote a review on anything but felt writing a review on Fair to let people know what they are going to deal with. PLEASE GO THROUGH THE REVIEW AND JUST SEE HOW MANY NEGATIVE REVIEW THEY HAVE. They have just established some fake reviews when they published Fair and that’s why they overall rating is 4.6 but make sure to read the reviews before applying. If you looking for your money gets stolen , damage your credit by placing a multiple inquiries then then your order gets cancelled, this is the company for you . They will put multiple inquiries on your report then cancel your order. This happened to me 3 times. I wish I read the review before let these scammers waste my time , money and credit. Unbelievably horrible customer service. In fact, I’m really surprised they last this long and still doing business. It won’t be too long though. YOU WONT GET ANY CAR. MAYBE ONE EVERY TEN ORDERS ACTUALLY RECEIVES A CAR SINCE THE ORDERS GETS CANCELLED- ACCORDING TO MY 3 ATTEMPTS PLACING AN ORDER AND REVIEWS FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS. ONCE YOUR ORDER IS SUBMITTED AND THEY RECEIVE THE MONEY, I GUARANTEE YOU IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUE AND NEED A CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO REACH OUT TO THEM OR GET ANY HELP. I tried reaching out to them over a phone , by email and through the chat for 5 days and still not a single helpful respond or anything. They took my money, damage my credit and just disappeared!!! AVOID THEM AT ALL COAT.
This is actually the biggest mistake I’ve made to date. I’m not much of a reviewer especially not for apps but when I’m scammed out of thousands of dollars I figured I kind of owe it to anyone else about to make the same mistake that I did. This ridiculously unorganized app and company happily charged me thousands of dollars to lease a 2018 Jeep that was supposed to be picked up near my house and I couldn’t wait to get it. Two trips to the dealership later I can tell you guys that no one at that dealership has ever heard of this app, Fair has a phone number listed for the dealership that was literally never even associated with them ever in history, and now that I’ve finally given up on believing the same obviously untrue story that this app keeps telling me about the car being there ready for me to pick it up I decided just to buy my own car but this app somehow thinks that I’m not entitled to a refund even though literally no one will help me just get the car I want in the first place. What a complete joke of a company. Don’t waste your money, not a single person that works here is anywhere close to competent and they almost seem proud of that. Just look at how many other bad reviews there are. Clearly we can’t all be incorrect in our assessment of this sick joke of an app. What a colossal waste of my time and money and life in general.

FIRST OFF every time I get in contact with customer service it takes 30 minutes to an hour just to be told they can caress that information and I’d have to call a new department. Then when you call the new department they don’t have the access and no body really seems to know what they’re doin. You just get pushed off as if your not paying 800+ a month for a car with issues around every corner. I returned my car and am currently trying to get a new one but Fair is bugged and I can’t proceed with a new application, after they apparently fixed it with a new update. No one knows what’s going on and can’t seem to do anything to fix my problems all. Every customer service rep I’ve spoken to has been short and rude and no solutions have been given. I have literally stayed on the phone for 4 hours trying to get this resolved. All I get is we’re sorry for the inconvenience. When asking to speak to a manger that’s where it becomes intimidating because they are rude and you can obiviously tell they want you off the phone. I’ve been hung up on the chat ended just due to pure laziness. I WANT THIS FIXED. You advertise a quick easy and convenient experience when upgrading and it’s anything but that in any aspect of dealing with you guys: the reviews don’t lie. This is continuing to happen. I need a new car and can’t even imagine what problems I’m going to face from here on out.

this app used to be a great option but then they forced the new promotion and made you complete more trips for less pay. They change the program from 70 weekly trips to 90 weekly trips and the extra bonus was change from $305 to a little bit over $200. I’ve been in contact with this app support and Uber and both have been giving me the runaround. I’m yet to receive my missing promotion of $185 for last work week neither have gotten back to me on the resolution of my pay. I’ve been in constant communication with this app support managers in Arizona and no one has returned my concerns.
When I started this program back in February there was a bit of a hiccup on my vehicle appearing on my Uber Driver app it took about three weeks to get everything resolved. I was finally driving with Uber with with the proper promotion and the proper vehicle and now they forced his new promotion making you drive more hours and more trips not only did uber lowered their pay by 20% from 80 cents to now 60 cents a mile. but now you need to drive about 20% more trips to get the promotion with this app. Lastly The first week free of $185 when you signed up is really just an apology for how long it takes them to have your car appear on the Uber Driver app and you can start making money. The “it takes them about 24 hours” for your vehicle to appear on the Uber Driver app is false and it impedes you from making money right away as promised with their ads.

I decided to go with this app because they’re connected with Uber and as a ride share driver I thought it would be better to go with a company where most things, including leasing a vehicle via app. I soon learned how much of a bad idea this was. After finally finding a car to lease, paying the deposit and getting a pick up date/location, I found out they sold my car just before I was going to pick it up. Apparently there was no communication between this app and the dealership to inform them that I had paid for the car. When I notified this app about this issue, all they said was sorry but you’ll have to locate another vehicle there’s nothing they can do. I had to find another car pay another deposit since my original deposit was still held up with the vehicle they sold and call the dealership to make sure the vehicle hadn’t been sold.
UPDATE: Have had my car for almost year and while out working in Clayton I hit a Deer. Tried logging into Fair to make my report only to find out that Fair had glitched and wouldn’t let me log in saying there was an AUTHENTICATION ERROR. So I had to call in and do everything over the phone. Had to wait 30 minutes just to speak with someone and to make matters worse, she didn’t even give me all of the information I needed to complete the process! Following the conversation, I emailed support about Fair issue and presently, it’s been over a week and Fair still hasn’t been fixed.

From the start I understood this was not the way to get into a vehicle for me. However since I’m a vehicle enthusiast (car guy) I had to check out Fair and see what it was all about. My take: if you don’t know cars, want to try several prior to purchasing, have limited $ to put down and simply want something reliable to drive, Fair has a competitive angle. If you’re like me and live, eat and breathe vehicles, you probably won’t find much of what you’re looking for on this app. Think rental car grade vehicles that cannot be modified or accessorized beyond your basic bolt-ons. The only attractive vehicles I found were a Wrangler JK, and a Tacoma TRD. Each was over $500/mo with over $1K down. Seems to me I could do better searching on CL or EBay for private party vehicles of similar age/miles and have financing lined up through my own bank. I don’t care for the misleading example images. Example: for a Dodge Challenger, they show a photo of the 700 hp HellCat version, when you click on it to get more info, you can see actual images of the car listed and it’s a standard 5.7L Hemi version of the car. Again, something a non car person will not ever notice or care about. All in all, this is a simple way for average drivers to get educated about what they could get for their $.
I really enjoyed reading your post on the this app app. I was also like you and very curious about this app. I have friends that I respect their opinions; unfortunately on this subject they are too traditional and are waiting for this app to have more longevity before they will even look at Fair . If you happen to get this message from me; I would really appreciate your opinion on a question that I have...if you possibly would please answer back. I sincerely would appreciate your time. With that said, do you feel the ability to change the vehicle out whenever the leaser or buyer wishes is an asset. I live in an environment that experiences the fore seasons. I will ask this app about how this all weights out. However, with your outside consumer experience your opinion would be of value to me. My Dad, WWll navy vet just pasted away. He enjoyed living just to see all the new technology and watch his family grow. Plus, he was an aviation mechanic so he taught me to appreciate mechanics. I do not think this app will have the new car that can fly, but I do not need that much and quite frankly...that is not on my budget. However, variety would be nice, especially if it is practical to change out vehicles; maybe at least every 6 months.

I haven’t actually tried the service, so I’m just saying how I feel about this service... I own a BMW car for 4 years and I’m getting tired of driving my car, so my motive is to check out some other luxury cars and test drive them for several months. Fair sounds exactly like what I want. I downloaded it and gave it a look. I really really like the idea and everything looks cool. The only issue I have is the down payment per car... Here’s the thing...I don’t mind paying, let’s say, $800 monthly subscription fees or an annual fee for $3000 as long as I can pick it up and go...but monthly rental fee plus the down payment PER CAR?? Umm...I understand the purpose of it, but I think it could be improved. This is a subscription era and I really don’t mind they pre-screening or checking my credit score as long as they give me the flexibility. I highly advise the founding team to come up with a package like that. I mean those dealers have too many cars sitting there anyway! That is being said, I’m going to try the service very soon and see how it goes.

Was drawn to this app because of their offer: fixed payment, low commitment, no debt, full service. Found the car I was looking for using Fair , which wasn’t that easy as they don’t (yet) have filters for features like all wheel drive, so lots of clicking back and fourth through the listings. When pick-up day came, the worst possible thing happened, I got to the dealership and was told that the car I was there to pick up had been SOLD the day before. this app did not let the dealership know that the I had reserved the car and would be coming in to pick up the car. Something was clearly wrong with this app’s process as they had given me the time, date and location for the pickup - did they just make it up and not check with the dealer?! The only reason this is a 4-star review is because of how Miguel handled the situation. When I called this app, screaming in the dealership parking lot, Miguel let me know that they would make things right - and they did! They located the same car at the dealership and listed it so I could purchase it through Fair and proceeded to waive the start payment, to make up for the poor experience. I received a follow-up call from Matt D. making sure things were going well and apologizing for the experience at the dealership once again. I have yet to see how the support goes for maintenance services.

As a first time car searcher I must say it was a smooth transition. I needed a car fast and I got one from one day to the next! To be completely honestly Mayra Hernandez is my hero!!! When it comes to picking a car we all know insurance is involved as well and with getting a car for the first time I had to also get insurance for the first time. Mayra was with me every step away! She went above and beyond for me she did what I know others would have probably not done. When the insurance was giving me a tough time she recommended we have a 3 way phone call so she could assist with any questions I had no answers to. If it wasn’t for her I would not have gotten auto insurance & a car all in the same day! I only truly wish she was in the same state so I can hand deliver her flowers and a hug because she has no idea how much I truly appreciate her help, patience and support!!! She truly is the best.

this app is a wonderful app that I found while trying to search for a alternative way to lease. I’ve had this car (2014 Audi) for the past two months and it’s been wonderful. The process and paperwork was smooth and easy, everything is up front including taxes and fees and they give multiple options on mileage, etc. I do recommend everyone getting the wear and tear insurance though especially if you’ll be keeping the car for a extended period of time like I am. Remember this app is like a broker, so when you goto the dealership and have problems it isn’t their fault. A lot of times things can be solved pretty easily if you just check in with a representative. Like when I picked up my car, I took photos of all the current marks and scratches that I found on the vehicle as well as the mileage. I wrote on Fair and had a lovely person respond who noted everything on my account. I can stress this enough how everything is a breeze! I’ll definitely be getting another car with this app.

Worst possible insurance partner and this app has zero commitment to make things work with insurance partner.
I have been getting run arounds for 2 weeks now but no resolution or success in connection with right person.
Please stay away from this app insurance. Based on my experience, I will recommend staying away from this app.

I am always looking for disruptive businesses. Experience with this app has been disappointing. Either they are growing too fast or lacking operational experience. In last two weeks I have tried to purchase two cars but not able to get through. First one was cancelled after 3 days of waiting (without any notification). Order just disappeared. When I reached out, I was told that dealer cancelled. But no one at this app bothered to reach out to me.
I decided to give them a second chance and placed another order. It’s been 4 days, everything went through but I car deliver us being pushed out every day.
Instead of making car buying faster and transparent, this app is making it worse (at least for now). I believe founding team has right intentions but they are trying to expand beyond their capacity.
Waiting to see how many more days....

Worst experience ever. Bank charged twice for cars. $800 Not refunded for over a month. Gone to their dealership 3 times and zero cars there. Still haven’t resolved or helped getting me a car. The part that is very bad and/or illegal is they charge you immediately for a weekly rental and you believe you have a reservation and you actually do not. False advertising. Fair says 1-6 cars available and their dealership has zero. The multiple managers on the phone and in person have done nothing to help. All I want is a car so I can work again for Uber...which is all they promised after reserving a car and still 6 weeks later have not done. I except a real resolution...not the run around. Filed a complaint with better business bureau to make them and everyone else aware of how unbelievably stressful and frustrating this company and experience has been. The Only nice thing they did was say my first week will be free of charge and sent a $100 gift card. But I’m still CARLESS! And this is completely UNFAIR to do to me and many customers who rely on and need a car for work and to survive in Los Angeles. I still have hope that this app will fix this problem ...by sending me a car...to my home...for all the stress and headaches ...instead of pretending us customers have a reservation when In fact they don’t have cars....that’s the right thing to do now...the this app thing!

After moving from NYC to Southern California, I was looking for a short term lease option until I find a full-time job and decide what car I want to buy. this app was recommended to me months ago by my brother-in-law. I found it so easy to search vehicles - by price, by brand, by vehicle type. There is a full range of options from older budget-friendly sedans all the way to brand new top of the line luxury cars like Mercedes SUVs and Maseratis. And once you select a car, you see what city it is in so if it is too far, you can amend your selection to something closer. Turnaround is quick (24-48 hours) for confirmation once you pick a car. The this app insurance option is exceptionally competitive as is the optional additional mileage & wear/tear coverage options. Selecting an appointment time for pickup was super easy and the dealer was prepared for my arrival with all documents ready - the whole pickup process took less than 5 minutes. Customer service is on point as response time is quick and I received a proactive follow-up call 6 days after pickup to verify everything was going smoothly. I had a few things I wanted to clarify regarding registration and license plates which were resolved. I am super happy with this option, the easy overall process, the costs and most importantly, the flexibility with lease terms. Great job, this app.
