I went to the website and was greeted with a huge mess. Go to this website to do this. Download KnoxvilleNews choices app… Go to opt-out tool… blah blah. Ridiculous. This is clearly done to make it so people cannot easily say NO.

Do the right thing. Please. Allow us to block ads and targeting. Otherwise, I’ll be a subscriber and reader you lose. More importantly, Southerners value their space and privacy. You violate that by not allowing us to opt out in KnoxvilleNews and on the news website.

I have been getting the Sunday paper and with that subscription, I can get the digital version daily. I downloaded KnoxvilleNews and was able to set my preferences for the type of topics I’m most interested in and get notifications on my phone. Love keeping updated that way. Great app!

Good source for local happenings

It’s SO convenient to read the paper on my phone or tablet. I can read the news on my time. The stories are relevant and important to the residents in the area. Well written and informative news stories. I really like the area history pieces as well as the human interest stories printed in KnoxvilleNews. Great Newspaper.

The coverage of key controversial is boldly objective. Local issues, politics, and events of interest will keep this subscriber a satisfied customer.

The ap is okay but I agree with the other reviewer the ads are a distraction. The content is good and often times news is before the television stations get it,

KnoxvilleNews froze when I tried to use it. Tried to engage customer service but it was painfully slow to chat and they never provided an answer. Unable to find normal subscription pricing anywhere within KnoxvilleNews and customer service told me I could find it in the printed version. Nevertheless, they wouldn’t tell me the price. Overall, it just seems as if customers are an annoyance? I would not recommend KnoxvilleNews.

I’m a paid subscriber. Can’t read most of the papers articles because block pops up asking me to subscribe. I sent in email asking for help.. no response. I can’t find way to fix problem. Content is good if you could actually read it. I hope someone reads this and tries to contact me to resolve issue before I cancel.

They are not afraid to give in depth coverage of stories many take strong sides on. I know some of the zealots out there complain. We appreciate the fair and balanced coverage.

After subscribing to the news paper, they still bombard you with ads. Even worse, if you accidentally click on a video, an ad launches that you cannot close until it finishes. You can’t get back to the newspaper without force-closing KnoxvilleNews . It’s difficult to support local news with apps like this.

Easy to use. News always in hand. Enjoy the videos that support news items.

Logging in was ridiculously difficult. Password manager did not work with this site. KnoxvilleNews kept taking me back to the same sign in page. Once logged in, could not find my way to a previous edition of Knoxville news Sentinel. If you’re planning to go mostly to an E edition format, you must clean up KnoxvilleNews.

Really enjoy your updates as they come in! Doing a great job. Very helpful. Also, enjoy the ads about available Companies that are close by! Thank you!

I used to think the NS hired college sophomores as writers. I was wrong. More like high school sophomores. Terrible. Just look at a digital front page article today on a UT football player’s arrest. What is the purpose of the story? It is impossible to follow the logic of the article. This is typical. I find myself having to re-read NS articles to understand what the “reporter” is saying, the point of the article.

At least once a month, KnoxvilleNews fails to recognize that I do in fact pay for access to the news service.

Great way to keep up on all the news and weather no matter
where you go

My Mom has KnoxvilleNews so it’s on my phone with Family Sharing. I am paying the subscription and she can not read anything. The VPN message has taken over. I can not get a message to the developer and can’t even cancel the subscription. I’m tired of paying every month for something that is useless!!!!!!

Quick updates and notices. Great way to get Knoxville News and breaking news.

KnoxvilleNews was my go to for local news. The recent change of auto running videos has pushed me to use the local tv station apps for news. You killed a good app! Why am I paying for this!!!!!

Have subscription and account shows as logged in but try to read an article and get message to ‘subscribe’.

As a PAID subscriber, I am so tired of advertising taking priority over the “real” news. Also, much of the print copy news never appears on app (e.g. Real Estate Transfers)

Local interests, small business and local news other than UT sports are low priority.

Continue to be disappointed ...

Knox news app has all the up-to-date news for everything Tennessee Vols!

Great app, great way to keep up with KNS and all things Knoxville.
Ads are part of people, get over it.

We have struggled with this ap for several months. Now once again, it keeps locking up every few minutes. No other app is this hard to navigate! Hate it!

Decent source for some quick local news.

Easy format to read with sports and local at your fingertips.

Always have local and national news with me. KNS has great writers and reporters.

Keeps me informed without bombarding me with useless information.
