I just got my two "smart" bulbs, installed this app on my ipad and iPhone and I feel do ripped off.
Apparently you can't use multiple devices. So I deleted it know my ipad and then I was able to use my iPhone --- set up was OK, the problem came when i tried to make it turn off remotely. Actually I was sitting right next to the lamp and the app said that the bulb was off, but it stubbornly stayed lit no matter what I tried.
And it is stuck in blue!!!! I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but it didn't help. When I tried to get more information on the Web there was nothing about advanced troubleshooting. In fact the only troubleshooting that was in the instructions in the package were too few, too brief and not helpful.
So I feel stuck with tech that isn't worth having. I wish the makers wouldn't have released this until it was ready!!!

The light bulbs are great, but the app only works 1 in 10 attempts. When it does work, it's nice to be able to change the color and brightness of the bulbs. And I was looking forward to using the scheduling feature. But the app loses connection to the bulbs so frequently that simply turning on my lights becomes a frustrating experience. To regain connection, I've found that deleting the app and reinstalling it sometimes helps. But not always. And forget about trying to find support on the company's web page. It's nonexistent. I've emailed the support department, but haven't gotten a response. I will be switching to another brand of smart lights because I love the idea of a low-energy bulb with this much control.

Have had to delete and reinstall this lousy app the past 6 days.
What a piece of junk.
Worked the first time. Haven't been able to do much except turn them on, manually at that, since. Looks like I got snookered into another piece of crap. Had for a week. Have had to trash and reinstall the app so many times I've lost count. Don't waste your time setting up any groups etc. you'll just have to do it over and over. An expensive lightbulb. That's all I got. THANKS KASA!!!
Here's an update: the app just plain doesn't work from one day to the next. Had these 3 was, have deleted and reinstalled app EVERY day, sometimes twice cuz it's just that big a pile of bull roar.
DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS CRAPPY PRODUCT.
update: it’s now well over 18months and you would have thought there would (might) b an update that would address even some of the basic issues, but alas, I’ve deleted and reinstalled app 3 times TODAY. And still can’t find the bulbs it found yesterday. Nothing’s changed. It works when it feels like it and F&@?/k you if it doesn’t.
