My place of work just switched over from HotSchedules. Switch I loved! In this app you can’t not send messages to your managers. You can’t adjust your availability. You can request to work certain days and have it pop up when the Scheuling manager is doing the schedule. Also you can’t take days off unless it’s 14 days in advance. No sooner. Seems to put a lot of pressure on who ever is in control of the schedule at your place of work. With so many different places of communication having to be in play. Email, text, paper... I feel this system is going to be a disaster.

This app is all one way functionality. Employees can’t send messages to management except when requesting off or a shift trade. The ‘request off’ feature should have more options for multiple days off in a single request. Ex:if someone needs every other Thursday off or the last weekend of every month. As of right now you have to submit multiple requests for a single day which is tedious and time consuming. Other than that the app does as expected and provides your schedule.

I downloaded this app for work and I’m not the only one having problems with it. The most common problem we are having is when we exit (clear out the app). It logs people out, we have to resign in and the managers can’t schedule if they aren’t logged in. It works when I delete the app and redownload it, however it becomes a hassle when you have to do it several times a week.
