Rentigo is clearly an MVP product with lots of bells and whistles, but none actually works as intended. Recently, I have had to make a switch with my payment method before my rent was due. After all the trouble getting my account properly setup, the rent payment went thru from the wrong account, instead of the new one I had setup. I called and emailed customer service multiple times right after it had happened to clear the issue/cancel the transaction...etc. But the customer service phone line is an offshore service desk that only takes messages and has no knowledge or power to do anything. THE WORST was when their Head of Customer Support, Edu, yelled at me over the phone, blamed his colleagues for relaying incorrect information, and said that the issue with the payment was on me and that I should be penalized for the faulty transaction bc it was not their problem.

AFTER ONE WHOLE MONTH of back and forth between my landlord and myself calling and emailing this app, the problem went unresolved and was a waste of everyone’s time, in addition to having the worst customer experience.

If you are a landlord, save yourself a lot of headache and go find something else better for you and your tenants.

First off, Rentigo never remembers you even though you click “remember me” every time you sign in. I have had so many issues from the renters side, thank god my land lord is chill. Land lords, payments will be late due to Rentigo . When you set auto pay- that also doesn’t work all the time. Their support is also terrible when you try to get anything fixed. They snap and are not patient. When I called in they asked me for my password. I work for a tech company and no one should ever ask for your password. The company should have a way into you account. I though that was very sketchy. Save the headaches and choose a different app if you can.

Every month my password gets deleted and i have to reset it to something completely different because my password has “expired” in the month i didn’t sign in, since i only pay rent once a month?? The customer service is nonexistent, they had a “message office” that is the only person you can talk to, and they have no power to help with anything in Rentigo since it’s not their app and they LOVE telling you so. DO NOT USE Rentigo OR YOUR TENANTS WILL MOVE OUT. it also charges you an extra $30 on your rent if you’re even two minutes passed Midnight the day it was due!(: Super awful app and i’m definitely deleting and moving houses so i don’t have to use it!

Pretty easy to use. Adding a bank account is familiar if you’ve ever used PayPal. Paying rent is two taps or you can set it up to pay for you every month. Not as polished as the competition but also doesn’t try to sell you stuff. My only complaint is that you can’t change your email yourself without asking their support department, but they say it’s for security and I believe them so I’m not taking off a star.

I’m a tenant. The past two months when I’ve tried to pay my rent, I’ve been locked out. No reason why. They imply to the landlord that it is me. I logged in and paid my rent with no incident for four months in a row when we started using. The next time i went to pay the rent I was locked out. Nothing happened in between. I called my landlord, she called this app, they blamed it on me and unlocked it. I paid my rent. The very next time I go to log in and I’m locked out again. Ugh. I’m trying to give you my money and I can’t. This is a symptom of larger issues.

Really straightforward which I like. Autopay has saved me from late fees so many times. Kind of a pain to verify your card but when I actually called support they said it was for security reasons, which I completely get. Tip: set up autopay and you won’t have the need to continuously login.

This application is hands down the worst, the least stable and the least user-friendly application I have used on my phone. The "keep me signed in" button never works. Rentigo does not recognize the password I set up for it so I have to change it every time I want to pay rent. On top of that changing a password is a real struggle as it doesn't not except any new passwords anymore even though they meet the criteria (at least 7 characters, 1 numeral, 1 alphabetical). Phone support did not have answers on any of my questions

My landlord said hey I want to use this new app called this app. I was a little hesitant at first but once I got the hang of how Rentigo works set my account on auto pay my bill comes out every first of the month as it even allows me to send maintenance requests straight to my landlord ASAP! Thanks

Rentigo takes some time getting used to but this app’s support team and their online resources have been helpful in answering my questions. It’s definitely helped me be more productive. I can spend more of my time filling vacancies and less on tracking down late payments.

Rentigo forgets my password (I make sure I write my pw down so I know it’s correct) making me have to select reset password however it still doesn’t allow me to set a new password I also can go without the processing fees which vary depending on the amount your paying, it atleast should be a SET amount...just another way for them to make money I guess. We should have the OPTION because I’d rather go back to sending it through the mail!

I’ve been using Rentigo for the past year or so, I can’t express how much stress and issues Rentigo saved me. Very easy to use, manage and control. I have a few buildings and everything need to do/ manage on my properties is directed to one channel and to Rentigo.

The user experience is awful. It’s not a native app, but just a series of web views and they’re all very buggy. Forms are difficult to fill out. Buttons intermittently can’ be pressed. I tried to log in with Facebook and just got stuck on a white screen. I’m also unable to verify my payment method, even though I’m entering in the correct amounts just deposited in my account for verification.

One of my tenants notified me that his password didn’t work. Wasn't able to help him but he called and got the password reset through customer service. Only hiccup I have come across so far, otherwise good to go.

Have been using this app for my property in Queens for a few months now. I don’t have to track down so many late Payments now, which is great! Have had a good experience with Rentigo

Pretty solid if you’re a landlord and you’re trying to make your job easier without spending any money. Only thing I don’t like is they made me list out all the property owners before they would let me use Rentigo .

My landlord just began using Rentigo — this app has made renting easy. Rent payments and maintenance requests are all handled through Rentigo — no more calling my landlord for maintenance issues or chasing after him with my checkbook each month!

Works as well as I could ask. Was able to pay my bills online without any issues. Support staff did help my one issue so I can’t complain

Totally a time saver ! Mobile payments are so much more convenient for me and my tenants. The payment method verification was tedious but I understand that this is simply a security feature. Thank you this app!

My schedule is always very busy but this app has helped me set my rent on Autopay and every 2nd of the month my rent gets deducted. Haven’t had any issues with Rentigo . Signing up is simple

My property manager asked me to sign up with Rentigo a year ago to make my rent payments! And honestly it’s the best i can communicate to them whenever and pay my rent in just one click!!!!
