I ordered bread, milk, and eggs three times from this app and each time they were “out of stock”... on bread, milk, and eggs? I ordered 400 riyals (26 items) and only 80 riyals (5 products) were available. Things like French fries, pears, and coffee were all out of stock. It’s a waste of time and effort. Better off with Carrefour or any other store.

I use Danube to buy home stuff everyweek but it is has Notifications coming up every day with offers and discounts. Its very noisy and distracting plus you don’t have an option to put it off. It might wake you up to 2 AM or it might make an alert in the middle of your work districting you from you work and thought pattern.

Delivery time is not exact, you might get on the same day or a day after. I ordered once and they got it a say late without any calls or notification of delays.

The prices are more expensive than any other market so I expected better experience or results.

Today i deleted Danube and decided to use other apps, at least they are silent are reliable.

Such a waste, I don’t care or if I don’t find all the other products & imported products, my peace of mind is more important than what i eat.

This is my personal opinion which is protected by law. I do not encourage people to not download Danube . If fact do download it and try it and see if what i claim is real or not.

You should show alternatives for out of stock items when checking out !!
Many basic items are always out of stock !
And if you pay an expensive delivery of 19 riyals you expect most of items ordered delivered instead of wasting your money on delivery fees without being served properly
Issues still not resolved
And credit card always charged for items not delivered

The idea of this application is great but it unfortunately never works. I always receive an error upon opening stating that the application is under maintenance. And so I just end up using the website to do my shopping. Disappointing!

When I placed my order they said I would receive it a week later. So i requested a pickup which they denied and insisted on me getting it a week later. The thing is I already paid through apple pay and now I am requesting a refund but the application is not responding. So I immediately called customer service so assist me with the application, the lady was not helpful at all, I am asking her to help me in any possible way and she responds with I cant sorry.

For non-arabs, dont waste your time. you wont get ur order, no one calls you to cancel even ( let-alone confirm) no contact email, if u call no one answers. so all u did was just wasting precious time waiting for groceries u need but u know that no delivery or even delivery attempt will be made.

هالتطبيق يقوللك ترانا حولك لكن اطلب عشان مو يجي طلبك..صارلي يومين ولا الهوا..!!🤐😂😂😂😂🤐 فعلا التطبيق فاشل وغير عملي.

After spending half an hour shopping online. Danube told me “sorry, no empty slots”. Why didn’t you inform this in the beginning before I waste half an hour shopping. I kept the shopping cart and got the same message for next three days. Deleting Danube and never stepping in the actual store as well. Bye for gooooooood

I tried Danube before Covid-19 and I would give it 31/2 stars. During covid-19 I tried it and because of high demand Danube collapsed and service became horrible. Placed an order on March 27 for SAR 510+ it showed a delivery on March 29th. Next day checking on status I found delivery changed to April 4 without any notice. I tried to cancel through Danube Danube keeps crashing. Sent them an email no answer. Funny enough every day I check the status it shows the list is shrinking because “out of stock”. Finally I called them and simply they canceled the order. I understand covid-19 situation is tough on everybody but what happened to me is completely avoidable by having few competent staff and management. If we were in complete lock down this would have been disastrous to me and a lot of people.
Don’t use this service now unless you are disparate!

I downloaded Danube as soon as it became available and had no problem viewing images. I’ve only used Danube to browse items but for a he past two days I’ve been trying to use Danube to request delivery but unfortunately (after deleting and downloading Danube twice), I still cannot view images.

I was so excited to try Danube and finally order from my favorite store but it doesn’t deliver to where i am.
The delivery is literally to places that are near the stores which is very FRUSTRATING because people who live in farther neighborhoods are the ones who truly need the delivery service.

The service itself is amazing. My orders were never late. Same driver that knows my place without having to describe the exact location every time. The amount is charged after the order is ready reflecting the actual amount in case of out of stock items.

A few things could be updated:
- real time out of stock updates
- more options for choosing how the cheese from deli section is desired (shredded, slices, one piece)
- essential items like milk should never be out of stock!
- more variety and better bakery would make it a much better app!

Still my favorite online grocery app. I sometime order from other apps because they have more variety and better bakery. But this app’s service is way better!

I have used Danube 4 times. Groceries were always delivered when promised. There were items left of the order due to he item being ‘out of stock’ and the pickers don’t know the difference between parsley and coriander. I complained and got a call back the next day. As services go in KSA, this is pretty good.

Good app - needs some improvements in terms of design and speed.

You should note that if a product is not available, you won’t be refunded in cash. You will have it as a store credit in your account only.

Every time I make an order there are many items are missed from my shopping are not available while it’s obvious daily items ! And even they don’t replace for example onions ?

l hope that i can share the cart ( or shopping list in the same app not through whatsapp with others) or i can send a payment link to others so my husband will contact and buy and also know the items that i order and if he want to add anything for himself

On the placing order it keeps saying an item in your cart is not available. I rechecked the cart and everything was still available
I retried and i had the same issue

On opening Danube , it didn't work and insisted I update the latest version (green Friday). After updating Danube it is not working at all. Not logging in or signing up and nothing is working. Old app was working fine. Total failure
