reviews while downloading, i see you force users to do something non essential to the function of CookpadRecipeshomemadefood : tell what was last cooked, to then give more such.

no thanks.

i learned years ago that when devs start bossing you around, it means the care more about their interests than yours, and CookpadRecipeshomemadefood will just continue getting worse, and usually it’s eventually sold off to some terrible company. a prime example is what happened with 500 px.

also, i don’t want recipies to generate more of the same. god forbid. the whole point of getting recipies, for me, is to try something new. i also liked that i could keep mine here, but since you are now on the path of “do what we want because we say so” i worry that i would lose the “my” part. i don’t want that.

sorry to see a formerly good app going down this road. bye.

Idk if someone hack my account or what . But out of no where i was blocked out of my account with oever 500 recipes. After reading the fine print after you upload pictures & recipes you no longer own the recipes or rights to your own photos. I found my pictures on different website and my recipes on different website. They still have my account and all of my recipes but block me out no emails or nothing! I lost so many family hand me down recipes. CookpadRecipeshomemadefood is a joke . All I want is my recipes and photos off of CookpadRecipeshomemadefood !

CookpadRecipeshomemadefood used to be great, and worked seamlessly for many months. However, the developers have absolutely ruined CookpadRecipeshomemadefood, as well as my experience with it. I constantly have issues posting recipes, as well as viewing and reacting to other chefs’ recipes. I can no longer post photos on my recipes because they don’t load, and I can only post at a specific time of the day—or else my recipe never makes it on to the feed. If the developers ever fix CookpadRecipeshomemadefood, I’ll update my review, but for now I recommend not downloading CookPad.

I used to love CookpadRecipeshomemadefood. I have been using it for a couple years. I have recommended it to people. All of a sudden today I open CookpadRecipeshomemadefood and ALL of my recipes are gone! It says I have none. And there is nowhere to contact these people! It’s beyond infuriating that all my recipes are gone!

I would give CookpadRecipeshomemadefood a better score. But the latest update asks for information I do not want to give. I want to look up recipes, not be asked useless questions about what I last cooked, and then get forced to add that to a selection.

The last thing I cooked was dirt, literal dirt. Why would I want more recipes about cooking dirt and sterilizing soil.

Please remove this function and let me browse freely. CookpadRecipeshomemadefood is useless if I cannot browse recipes.

This new app is..I'll just say it.. pretty lousy compared to the original All The Cooks app. Half the pictures don't load, it doesn't refresh with new recipes very often, repeats recipes and is very slow. I'm only going to keep it long enough to write down all my saved recipes I have from the original app that I used almost daily, then look for an alternative. Sorry Cookpad, but your app just irritates me more than inspires me.
And what happened to all my saved recipes from other people? Everything is gone! I had wonderful recipes saved and there’s nothing there now, so what gives? I’d like them to be restored please.

Use a bookmark manager with the original site, don’t bother with CookpadRecipeshomemadefood if you want access to everything. On the website, you can access recipes across the globe in different languages. CookpadRecipeshomemadefood restricts you to searching and following only the single language and country you registered in. I was looking forward to saving recipes across the Spanish and French speaking world, but it Is useless for me.

Great app to get ideas and inspiration. 500 word count on entire description of recipe is a bit of a barrier.

Can you not get my Photos to load so I guess there’s no uploading in CookpadRecipeshomemadefood you have to just take it with their camera and it continued take out half of my pictures not sure what that is

CookpadRecipeshomemadefood was my favorite go - to cooking app of all time , and now with the constant updates it just seems to get worse and worse , so much so that I can no longer post ANY recipes , or take ANY pics of my recipes because CookpadRecipeshomemadefood is full of so many bugs that it just won’t let me do anything with it !! I’ve contacted Cookpad and they informed me that they are working on the problems , so until then I give it 1 star , will update my review when they finally squash all the bugs and I can finally post some recipes!!

UPDATE ~ After deleting then reinstalling CookpadRecipeshomemadefood I am now able to upload pics , save recipes AND finally post them to the Cookpad community! I’m so happy that the problem I was having was just a simple fix , but honestly, I shouldn't have had to delete CookpadRecipeshomemadefood , then reinstall it ! Well at least now it works and hopefully I wont have any more problems with it! :)

Besides the random updates I love CookpadRecipeshomemadefood. I think they should keep it simple. Allow photo sharing and comments and keep the “likes” regular. The diff emoji options are insane lol. But overall a fantastic app. I’ve have it for about 5 years now.

looking for recipe is not always easy, there so many options up there that sometimes confusing and to be honest just waste some ingredients since they doesn’t taste good if I may say (dare i say this). Once I found cookpad is so much easier, everything is in your finger tip and all you have to do is search, read carefully and use common sense. Thank you cookpad, most of the recepies are easy to follow and delicious make me dare to try and to show off😀
