I entered my email and nothing came through. It could be a scam. Be careful.

Was not aware until after purchase and I emailed them because I couldn’t log in, that this is for law enforcement only. This information should be visible BEFORE purchase!

Can’t use ShotSpotter because there’s no way to sign up. Even on the website you can’t sign up.

What’s the point of ShotSpotter if regular citizens can’t even make a report of shots being fired in the area? ShotSpotter is totally useless!

The public should also be aware of gunshots in their area not just law enforcement.

ShotSpotter will not let you login and create an account, totally pointless

ShotSpotter is no good for citizens you can’t even make a account it’s ONLY for law enforcement UNLESS they give you a password which is not going to happen

There is no way to even use ShotSpotter because it doesn’t like you create an account!!
No new user option, pointless.

Law enforcement is not above the citizens they “protect” the general public has ever right to know when and where exactly a gun is being fired near them just as every officer does!

I was recently trying locate a this app address that I received notification for. Once I opened ShotSpotter , it kept prompting me to logon. My credentials weren’t verified or correct. HOW SO? Nothing has changed on my end.

ShotSpotter is great when it works or if you can get on. Why keep getting notifications as if I’m logged in, but can’t actually login? Please fix this

When an alert goes off I receive it twice through ShotSpotter . Since the update this has happened every time. Please fix as this is very confusing when responding.

Minor improvements could be made i.e color schemes, sound improvement for the alert notifications, touch ID. But for the first version this is an accepted effort. Also sometimes alerts are not received.

Love how easy ShotSpotter is to operate and how you can hear the live gun fire.

this app is a fantastic resource and ShotSpotter is a fantastic resource for responding units. Go to the dot and you’ll likely find something!

I see a lot of negative reviews about not being able to “sign up”. It doesn’t work that way. This is used by & for law enforcement officers. Not for the general public.

They say it’s only for the law enforcement I said what about the community they help save lives just as quick as the police they need one besides citizens and this app to help also.

This is an app for law enforcement. It says as much in the description. There are apps for specific types of work forces all over ShotSpotter stores, why are people so mad about this one?
May I ask what the lay person is going to do if they had ShotSpotter and saw that there were gunshots in their vicinity? Are you going to go render aid? Are you going to go save the day??? Seriously people. Learn to read. I’m not in law enforcement (but work in an area where there are COUNTLESS gunshots all day and night) and it doesn’t hurt me in any way, shape, or form to not have access to ShotSpotter. I am amazed by the stupidity in this world!
