Can't Log in...

Logged in with test credentials but not with my own. Keep getting error: "Data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format" when I try to log in. I AM able to login to the mobile site through Safari using same credentials.

Says it's v1.0 - guess it needs more debugging.

I’m fed up with them

I have been using them for a number of years all has been good until this last update. You can no longer use fingerprint ID or Face ID as another reviewer stated you have to login your user ID password then wait for a verification. In this case calling the office getting the verification, then going back into CardPointe to take money, this is ridiculous. I tried calling customer support after being on hold for 45 minutes trying to explain the problem they hung up on me. Apparently they have no customer support. I am now looking for a different merchant account provider.

Does not work on iPhone X

It works once. After that it crashes before loading, every single time until CardPointe is deleted, reinstalled and logged into. Then it works exactly once. After that it crashes again and never loads. I hope it is fixed. I use this app to process payments for my business. A functioning app would help me feel more confident about letting them handle my transactions every day.

A company that charges $250 to cancel when they don’t provide what you need

I was surprised to find that I was charged $250 to cancel because they signed me on for a 5 year contract. I didn’t know if they’re service was going to work for my company so had no intention of locking in with them for 5 years. Turns out they weren’t able to provide the specifics that my company needed (ie invoicing) which Square and QuickBooks could both provide for me so I wrote a letter of cancellation and was promptly hit with a withdrawal of $250 from my bank account. The charge was unreasonable for them not being able to provide what I needed. I will never recommend this company to anyone ever.

Call then waiting too long and they don’t care you are !!!

Not good for company

Stay away from this company!!!

They have all kinds of fees and they take money out of your account on the sneak. Do not use them….. very very shady business…..

Stops/freezes all the time

CardPointe freezes on a regular basis and we can’t proceed with payments, which is unacceptable- I’m very close to getting a new company. Very poor phone assistance.

Terrible

When I first signed up with this company I had a real persons ph#. I could understand this real person. The dialect was like mine. Today it’s terrible. Keep looking for a card provider.

Not happy

Does not support Face ID anymore so takes longer to log on to run customer payment when out in the field working

Terrible Customer Service

I had an issue with CardPointe and I can not get anyone to help me. I called customer support and after being on hold for 2 hours they hung up on me. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Terrible after update

I can’t use the card reader anymore. I have to punch in each customer’s CC number and info every single transaction. Such a waste of time!! Also, this 2 step authentication system every single day is ridiculous! Looking into a new CC merchant!

Deplorable

Horrific over seas customer service center. Extremely high processing costs. Do yourself and your biz a favor and get quick books instead. I wish I didn’t wast the time and money on them. They are nothing but a headache and hours on the phone sharing your personal info with people who can barely articulate a name or address. Yea. I totally trust them with my company’s financial credentials..

Good app but terrible bug

I like CardPointe but there is a terrible bug in it. Every couple of days the settings in the application reset. This requires me to re pick the tip line, swiper type, and receipt printer. Very frustrating!

Terrible access.

The login is truly inconvenient. Last version was much better !

Update is keeping this from being 5 star

We loved CardPointe & Everything was working fine with CardPointe until this last update. We get logged out and then they want to send us an email every time. We run a tow business & can’t have our guys having to log in and try to retrieve an email eveytime CardPointe decides to log them out. Not all of them have access from their devices to check the email accosiated with their account while in the field. Some actions such as a finger print, Face ID DO NOT work any longer as well. Please fix this ASAP!

App works well, design could be better

The font and color design on CardPointe is very difficult use in a sunny outdoor environment. The font is too thin so numbers are hard to see and colors/contrasts are so light it’s almost an unusable app when outside.

Should I delete?

I love CardPointe and what it does but the logo kinda looks like an evil eye to me. I don’t want to support such things.

App works great!

Vibrant Merchant Solutions set me up with this app and they have great customer support. If you want a simple way to take card payments with low transaction fees, then this app is the way to go!

Great App Easy to Use

CardPointe is great. Constant improvements being made. Easy to add products and different categories to add to a cart and Bluetooth connectivity to printers and card readers. Do anything everywhere at anytime with better rates and customer service than other popular services.

Glad they made this

Great to now have an iOS app - makes it so easy to see what transactions my business is making. Powerful data.
