At least it was free

Disclaimer: I was given one of these units for free and thought to try it out. PRO: - does it do what it says, yes? - there is a work around to listen / see your own exams. However your data goes to the cloud. - hardware looks ok and seems to give ok results. But I’m not a doctor so I could be way wrong - my unit was free CONS: 1. There is no way to delete your exam findings. Let’s see, there is HIPAA regulation and I fall under CCPA. While I used a bogus name and age to test the unit it really does bother me that one cannot delete their own data. 2 This is really version 5.0??? Wow, it’s pretty bad. The app feels like a cross of someone who had a good idea and then who partnered with an insurance company who got their attorneys to chime and the development team was offshored. 3. The UI (user interface) really makes me wonder who are they trying to aim this device / service to. 4. It feels like they want you to use their online doctors. I didn’t go down this path since I didn’t want to release my exam data. 5. Hardware: as stated above it looks cool but I am not qualified to know if it gives accurate readings. What I do know is the temperature reading I was getting seem to vary. A $15 handheld temperature reader we have seems to give more reliable results. Summary: This device has so much potential however it is being killed by poor execution on the app.

Can't view results, can't listen to heartbeat

I was hoping to take measurements to track my heart condition without having to send them to a doctor for interpretation. Why bother having two different headphone jacks if neither one will allow you to listen to your heartbeat? The video tutorials in the app are a waste of time. It would be faster and easier to list information next to a diagram. They'll even let you choose closed captioning for the videos, but it doesn't exist. I hope this app is still in development because the whole thing is a mess.

Interesting approach but with very limited use.

As with all digital monitoring devices, there are huge personal/privacy security risks due to cyber hacks that target individuals’ medical data and information-especially when obamacare forced citizens to disclose health insurance info along with social security numbers. As such, on the dark net, a medical record now fetches $65 vs a ssn# that is only worth $1. Moreover. insurers, healthcare providers, pharma, & employers use personal medical data to profile employees, restrict jobs, continually restrict health insurance coverage, increase insurance & healthcare rates, & sell an individual’s detailed health data (genomic info, medical conditions, test results, doctors’ notes- many of which are erroneous and not able to be corrected) for profit to the highest global bidder - including to those who are not allies with the US. Bottom line, in remote areas, this may be useful. But who is legally liable if the (patient) user screws up? Especially as the majority of telehealth providers are those who were fired for cause (incompetence/negligence/ rubber stamping diagnoses) and/or who are poorly trained medically and/or who were given “participation” healthcare certificates or degrees. And the fees for inferior quality telehealth are on oar with actual office visits. Sorry but online walmart-quality diagnostics & treatment that all internet providers & anyone who has a smartphone can have free open access to is not worth it. The PPPACA (obamacare) & Cures Act ensured mega profit focused (aka value based “fake” health industry) corporations have the ability to exploit an individual’s DNA, family/education/employment/social network/shopping habits/tax information etc. for profit & this type of personal diagnostic just enables the further exploitation and extermination of any notion of privacy.
