I have washed my car 3 times in the past 24 hours after signing up for the monthly membership. This is a very good idea and I love having a subscription. The car wash is brand new and the equipment is really good. I love how friendly everyone is there and TommysExpress is easy to use. Vacuuming is also included and after the car is squeaky clean the extra long hoses make cleaning the inside of the car easy also. I love this car wash. I have never been to any other car washe as good as Tommy’s and I may open up my own car wash too just like the one they have. My car gets really dirty and it needs to get washed often and I will save money with my membership as I can go as often as I like. No other car wash that I know has a membership and a cool app.

UPDATE: Here it is September 7, 2022 and TommysExpress still will not work w/ iOS 12.5. Does anyone at Tommy’s actually read or even care about the reviews?

The car wash (“The Works”) is great - that is when the actual “CeraMix” solution is applied to give the slick, freshly waxed feel that Ceramics Coating is known for.

From the first time I used Tommy’s Car Wash and still to this day, I have always received excellent customer service from each employee. The quality of the carwash itself is top notch also. I like that they offer the detailing packages that comes with two car air fresheners, an antibacterial hand wipe, two wet surface cleaner towels and one dry towel for dusting all for $3. Another added bonus is the FREE floor mat cleaner and dryer. The one thing missing is a brush cleaner to scrub the bugs off the front bumper of your vehicle before running through the actual car wash. Overall, this is the best bath my car has ever received.

So went grocery shopping yesterday and to which I saw this car cleaning location multiple times. Not knowing much about it I continued to avoid trying it but yesterday all that changed and to which I decided to pull in and give it a try. Attendent at the counter was helpful and informative. I got the highest cost wash and explained if I liked the wash, I would come back around to join the membership plan, which I did. I am very pleased and to which I am looking forward to a cost effective, less labor intensive clean car in my future.

The wash severely scratched my wife’s car. Destroyed the clear coat on the hood, the roof and the trunk and so far we have been dismissed by the management there. They said it was there before. Thing is I posted in local community pages and other people have had their paint destroyed by the wash, but didn’t have any proof. We have HD video with time stamps and stills showing the vehicle before we took it in. The next step if this isn’t resolved by their contracted body shop (interesting they have a body shop under contract right?) is we are going to look into legal remedy. Do not take your vehicle to these car washes.

Wonderful app and works great with the washes. I don’t know what that other guy is talking about because you can add multiple cars if you have multiple cars….. under the my garage tab in TommysExpress 😑 it’s a pretty straight forward app and no issues should be ran into at all lol

And of course you can’t wash other people cars 😂 the account is just for your owned cars

First time visit not knowing what to expect. Young man at window was very helpful, kind, informative. Explaining all options clearly, an pleasantly . I chose the highest price option based on his explanation. Very important to me to be able to talk an discuss the options with a well trained, easy to talk to person . This company is using very little product that doesn't make very much difference you’d be better off washing at home many cars get parts knocked off by the old and malfunctioning machines. Don’t value your time at all and try to make you not take your break sometimes leaving you to be the only person in the building at times running everything as if your making the money the guy is who’s at home comfortably or on a beach with sand in his toes.

This has got to be the best car/truck wash ever. The un-limited washes make this so affordable and wanting to stay as a Tommy customer.
There is only one situation I don’t like and that’s pulling too close as you enter. Now that’s said, you’ll love the endless washes, employees all with smiles and a service you don’t receive at other automated car washes.

TommysExpress is bad piece of software. I told it to switch from a monthly plan to a pay as you go plan at the end of winter. I finally noticed the charges in June. I had to jump threw hoops to stop the monthly plan by canceling anything. The switch from monthly to pay as you go app buttons do nothing.

I have 2 vehicles on my account, but one is a work truck. I cannot add my business credit card without deleted my personal credit card(thus deleting my personal vehicle). Please add a second payment option. Otherwise, good app that lets me know of locations while traveling.

I am pretty technically adept, and have used several apps, but this one stumped me! It would not allow me to buy A wash. Background: the cashier line was long, so in order to save some time, and to test out TommysExpress , I loaded it while waiting in line. Loading went OK; registration went OK; so I moved over to the ‘club members’ lane. That’s where the fun stopped. I could not find a way, within TommysExpress , to purchase a single wash.

I truly enjoy Tommy’s wash! Yes I do wash my truck a lot! I run it thru often and it seems easier for it to remove all the road residue and bugs! Everyone is so nice and that along with a great wash keeps people coming back. Thank you all!

I have been trying multiple times to get signed up and I get all of my information out in and then it just says Unsuccessful and nothing!! I have deleted TommysExpress and reinstalled still nothing! I just hope I am not charged a bunch of times since I put my information in multiple times!!
This is disappointing because I like the car wash and would like to get the monthly unlimited washes!

Not sure when was the last time I opened TommysExpress , but the latest update does not have any way for existing customer to login and access account. It only tries to force you to sign up as new and then it fails, because, obviously, I already have an account. Cannot manage my subscriptions. TommysExpress is the ONLY way to manage your account, so please fix!

Had a “works” subscription. In the washing process there was a spinning cloth brush with knots on the ends that literally beat across my front wind shield. It pitted the tint on my windshield.

I took my mothers car through since, on the $8 wash and there was no brush, just the cloth sliders that drag across the wind shield.

I contacted the main office of the company to report the issue I had, had, and was told that they never had spinning brushes for the windshield? (even though I pointed it out to my passenger when washing).

I like the wash, didn’t like the dismissive email responses to my concern.

Still unsure about going back with my car.

Last week I could not get into TommysExpress because it kept giving me “can’t load at this time” notice, today there was an update. Still can’t get in but there is still that “can’t load at this time” notice.

There was no login button however after customer support helped figure issue it’s bc lady at window incorrectly entered my info. App then works as intended.

I have reloaded TommysExpress so many times and it does not work. The only thing it allows is for me to see the locations car washes throughout the country. I have an unlimited plan already and cannot manage my account through TommysExpress as it will not even let me log into my account. It wants me to sign up for a new account!

They will send you coupon offers for their top of the line wash. When you use it they won’t honor it and charge your card $16. There isn’t an automatic car wash on this planet worth that. Contacted them and they wouldn’t refund me so I deleted my account. I figure if it happens once it will happen again. Strange that they would lose a client for life over $16.

You may be confused by developers response to a higher comment. To be clear - you have to buy a subscription for each car you want to wash. There is no pricing model that lets you register more than one car to a single subscription plan. Makes this far less compelling. I’d pay $35 a month to be able to take my family’s cars a couple times a month to wash them, but paying $35 per car, per month- adds up when you own several cars. Good car wash facility, better pricing model needed.

I live near the wash on 1702 Vision in Jonesboro. When there are not issues with the location there, I never seem to get the same quality wash that I do on Caraway Road. Today the soap was weak, the display board wasn’t working so I’m not sure what I got, but I pay monthly for the best.
For this to be the newest, the was h us substandard. Please correct!

I try to manage my account from my phone but I can’t because my account signed out. I don’t know when, but now I can’t log back in. The home page doesn’t give an option to ‘sign in’ it just gives the option to ‘sign up’ which I can’t do since I already have my account. This makes TommysExpress useless and frustrates me.

I’d give it 5 stars, but I absolutely hate joining the sometimes lengthy line to wait for a car wash. Here’s my situation. We have 6 cars in our family/household and each person has a Tommy’s account with their car on it. TommysExpress coding prevents me from using my account to wash anyone else’s car without joining the ridiculous line, so I don’t wash the other cars even though I’d be glad to do so for my family members. Why restrict each vehicle to just one account. That is what’s called bad design and user experience. Didn’t anyone at Tommy’s think of this? As a developer I can think of different coding and database methods to do this. Why not have each car be able to be tied to a plan for my account. I know it’s a bit more complex to achieve, but it is doable.

Don’t understand so many negative reviews. Are they from Tommy’s competition? Found setting up an account very easy. Yes you have to enter a credit card, no Apple Pay but that’s life. Use a credit card with alerts. The car wash plans are a good deal if you are willing to get out of your car and vacuum the inside yourself. The self serve floor mat washer is great. I have the plan with the uv protection and am very satisfied. I washed my car today then it rained. No big deal went back and it took less then 5 minutes to get another wash and have a clean car again. Don’t need a rain check. It’s that simple.

So today I was at Tommy’s, like normal had my car in neutral. No car attendants out helping, telling people what todo. Dude slams on my window telling me to stop. I guess I was very close from hitting the car in front of me, instead of them turning off machines slams on my window. Usually I get a plastic over my windshield wiper, not this time. Right after that I went to vacuum, and the same thing happened As I watched another car almost hit another, car attendants then shut off the machine. If I wanted to get in a car accident I would simply just go hit a car. I recently just purchased my vehicle 2 months ago, why would I want todo that. Get it together tommies car attendants in joplin. Needless to say I have canceled my member ship. I will go else where. Thanks but no thanks tommies.

I went to Tommy’s express and was told I would be able to swap cars with my membership as much as I’d like so of course I signed up. However when I downloaded TommysExpress I came to see that was a blatant lie, you are only allowed to change vehicles every 30 days which honestly doesn’t make sense. Not only that but the one time I did go through the car wash it messed up a rear fender of mine, no major damage but still had to pop the fender back down into place which isn’t easy, wish I never spent my money at this place save yourself the time and save your car from the scratches/damage and just go to a self service car wash.

I enjoy Tommy’s, it’s the only car wash near me that has a decent price and doesn’t put an ugly sticker in my windshield. What I think would be cool is a way to see your Statistics for example, who many times I’ve washed my car, how long ago I washed it, and like average per month or something, I feel like this would be simple to implement and even though it’s not something everyone would look at I know many people might like such a feature

My husband and I liked the car wash, but TommysExpress is literally stopping me from using it. I somehow got logged out of my account. Now, when I open TommysExpress , I have two options: 1) Create an account, which it won’t let me do because my plates are already tied to an account. 2) Try continuing without account - that text appears on the screen but when I select it, nothing happens. That’s it. I can’t log in to activate my membership. I emailed customer service and haven’t received a response in over a week. The technology and automation is great, until it doesn’t work.

I have a free $18 wash coupon that I need to download TommysExpress to use. I have to click “Try without signing up” on the login screen to bypass selecting a subscription plan, and the button doesn’t work. Once it’s “clicked” I can see that it responds to my touch but nothing happens. I think TommysExpress idea is fantastic but there seem to be some bugs that need to be fixed!

I have had TommysExpress since Dec ‘20 and it’s loads fine and for the most part works. However, if you try to add gift card, it’s useless. My car is already loaded in TommysExpress my credit card is also loaded. But when I try to add the gift card, it doesn’t let me select my existing vehicle but wants me to create another vehicle with no ability to select my existing vehicle. So TommysExpress is basically useless to me. I hope they fix this, or I’ll go to the wash down the street, didn’t have an issue adding gift cards on their app.

I’m very frustrated right now with Tommy Express Car Wash. I’ve been waiting to replace my old debit card with a new debit card. Why do I have to wait 24 hours for a response from the company to get this done. They have a phone number to call but then they say hold on the line for a Customer Service Rep. You wait then they tell you to text a message about your problem, or leave them a voicemail. Then why have a phone number to call.

After a frustrating hour trying to create an account on TommysExpress using two different devices and trying alternate email addresses, de-install and reinstall, etc, I was finally able to create an account and now look forward to using TommysExpress lane next time I visit.

Just writing to say Tommy’s is better of all car washes,I find you need more locations especially in Babcock Ranch in Punta Gorda where I will be residing,Note 50,000 people will call be calling this home in the next five years. Paul Finnerty Ft Myers Fla.

I paid cash my first time and had only planned to use this for one month before I moved where they didn’t have this car wash. TommysExpress “needed” my credit card in order to let me use the touch less car wash. It proceeded to charge me the next month, and I couldn’t find anywhere to cancel or change the service. I contacted the help service, they gave me another number to call, called it and was directed to an answering machine that said they would call me back. A run around for nothing. Had to cancel my credit card to end services.

TommysExpress doesn’t provide dates of expiration and is very difficult to use if you have coupons. there’s no notice that they’re going to take the money out of your account so if you buy a lot of coupons for the holiday and use them you have to be on it every month.

This is ridiculous to put in all this information. Some seniors want things as simple as possible. Although close to where we live, I’ll go down the street and get a great car wash without all the hassle… I don’t care to give out information on my car and license, name and address…! A few free washes isn’t worth the risk of all my information.

I cannot get the notification badge on TommysExpress to go away. I’ve sighed out and back in and deleted TommysExpress and added it again. Still has the notification on it.

There doesn’t appear to be any updates but the notification won’t turn off

There’s a persistent red-dot notification on TommysExpress ’s icon on my iOS device. I have no items in my “Notifications” tab, and I’ve opened every other tab/section in TommysExpress , and the icon won’t go away. Please resolve.

App was updated now there’s a bug where the notification badge won’t go away. I’ve tried everything and it’s still there. Please fix.

I’ve tried several times to register an account but just keep getting the message “sorry request is not available at this time”. Very frustrating !!

Things don’t fit right on my iPhone 13 plus. I was trying to pause the subscription on my truck since I only use it during the summer, and when I got to the pause page to confirm the pausing for 3 months, there wasn’t a button to actually confirm. There was nothing to push or even get out of the page. Had to close it and start over. Ending up having to cancel it on the truck altogether instead of pausing. I’ll restart it next year when I start using truck again.

I’ve had TommysExpress and account for about a year and it’s been a while since I used it. iPhone will uninstall unused apps so mine needed to be installed again. I reinstalled and tried to sign in but it wouldn’t let me. I uninstalled again and reinstalled but it keeps saying “sorry, request was unsuccessful “ after I put in my information.

Still haven’t fixed the new user sign up bugs

All I get when logging in is a pop up stating “Sorry, request was unsuccessful”. “Ok”

No login, no way to manage washes.

Was bought a free wash at one of their locations, and they offered a free month of washes if I only installed their app. Just getting in their system requires a credit card, all to use the 'free' washes, and as other reviews state, that will sign me up for permanent service until I discontinue that credit card, as the company won't stop billing you ever. So don't fall for the 'free' car wash hog wash.

App did not work last year nor this year. Will not submit despite resetting and creating new account.

Won’t let me sign in to cancel my $35 a month subscription that they’ve been charging me.

I love Tommy Express washes but TommysExpress leaves much to be desired. My car doesn’t show up in “my garage” and when I go to add it, it says my car is already in the system. I have no option to change my plan from TommysExpress either.

Was very satisfied with the service,the staff was excellent Brian , Cat @ Scott more than helpful.

TommysExpress is ridiculous. All you can do is sign up for a new account but no way to log into your existing account. Very poor app experience.

I can’t cancel my subscription from TommysExpress . When asked to select plan I’ll like to cancel. Although the plan is selected it will not allow me to select continue.

This was my first time coming here but I bypass it on my way to Walmart all the time but that FREE MONTH caught my attention lol!! Ima keep my subscription but this month free with the biggest package membership is where it’s at! The car wash was the best part! The vacuums aren’t that great to me but they do wash floor mats for free lol and that’s good for me!! Awesome Place! Nice and Clean!!

TommysExpress is intuitive in structure but you can't actually edit most things as it describes on the website. There is no web portal for a pc either. So make sure you never change vehicles , phone numbers or credit cards if you are on iOS lol . TommysExpress is virtually worthless.

It’s $10 a wash at my locally owned place rather than this fast food looking clown factory. I have no idea how much a membership or wash costs at Tommy’s because there’s zero pricing information online except “download TommysExpress !”
Well, it doesn’t work, so I guess I’ll stick with my locally owned wash.

We have been with Tommy’s for a long time but the price is just too much to justify on 2 vehicles. We wanted to keep our plan but you don’t offer family plans like Mister Car Wash so we made the switch. Ended up saving us like $25/month on our 2 cars.

If you ever start doing family plans that are competitive we would likely make the switch back as your locations are slightly more convenient.

I downloaded TommysExpress and it keeps saying my cellphone is already registered yet won’t let me use it to log in. Why?

App said zero dollars for first month, selected it and then immediately charged my billing info
