Pretty Aweful

MailingLabelDesigner is great if you only need to print one address at a time. But if you’re trying to ship out to multiple customers in a day get ready for some tedious busy work. MailingLabelDesigner does not save or remember your settings even as you are typing them and about 25% of the time will just completely skip printing a line of the address making the label completely useless

There is no free/trial version.

This is a PAY ONLY APP. ANYTHING YOU WASTE YOUR TIME WITH IS UNPRINTABLE UNTIL YOU GIVE THEM $4. Avery labels allows you to print for free on their site with MUCH BETTER TOOLS/INTERFACE!
GO TO AVERY DIRECT!!!
MailingLabelDesigner is deceptive, I would not be surprised to find out the positive reviews were fake, as you only have to use it for five minutes before the “positive reviews” seem...unlikely. It is hard to use, unintuitive, and makes printing a pay process 100% of the time by obscuring your print page after you’re done.
BTW in 10 years of using iOS apps I have never left a bad review until today. That’s how much I HATE MailingLabelDesigner.

Pass on this if you own an iPad or iPhone

This is a very simple app to use, but if you have an iPad or iPhone you will NOT be able to edit your labels. When you double tap on text to edit it (the only way to select it) the keyboard pops up, covering the text editing options completely! There is no way get rid of the keyboard without tapping ‘somewhere,’ and when you do the text you formatted to edit becomes unselected! Customer service is non-existent for these devices. I bought something else after buying this!

Free version watermark

So i downloaded the free version thinking I may be able to sprint out a custom label to give my package a little pizazz. I was able to do so in a little under 20 min but when I printed my label there was a huge "free version watermark" plastered over top for the receiver address. What a crock, MailingLabelDesigner shouldn't be listed in the free app section of MailingLabelDesigner Store because the only way to print what you create even on your first attempt after downloading you must pay to upgrade MailingLabelDesigner

Lies from the start!

Great features. Easy to use. Only they advertise it as “free” but if you try to use the free version they advertise, it puts a watermark over it that is not at all a “watermark”. It’s a dark banner that makes the label unusable. I’m not too cheap to pay for MailingLabelDesigner but, you advertise free then make it unusable as such then you are a fraud. I’ll buy my label maker app from someone who tells me it’s going to cost something up front.

PDF export doesn’t work

The interface is great and simple. Font choices and text editing are capable enough to feel like I can lay stuff out how I want. And MailingLabelDesigner offers for you to print the labels directly to a connected printer or email a PDF file of the entire sheet of labels you’ve created, however, the pdf is just a blank white PDF. None of the design/text or anything is there.

Hard to use must buy the upgrade

It shouldn’t be rocket science to make som stupid labels for a thirty label sheet but apparently it is. After wrestling with fonts and
sizing and going through two videos I ended up wating a sheet of labels to have the water mark appear in every one. Thats when I found out that for $5.99 I could eliminate it otherwise this is a worthless waste of time.

Can’t be properly evaluated

The free version only allows you to go through the motions of creating a label but doesn’t let you create a useable one. A water mark would be acceptable for a free version however the one used in this free version is a blue streak that completely obscures the label rendering it unreadable and useless. I can’t evaluate the quality of a label I can’t see. Deleted MailingLabelDesigner .

Doesn’t offer much

This isn’t what I wanted or needed. It doesn’t offer much for my iPad use. I needed an app that would allow me to print out labels for my organization use. Different names on a sheet of labels. With MailingLabelDesigner you have to print one name at a time. That is very cumbersome and time consuming.

There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch

Trying to print some address labels fo my 92 year old father. Did you realize until I tried to print them that I had to pay for the “upgrade” to do so. I printed out a sheet of useless labels with the address replaced with a “Free Version Watermark” instead.

Too bad the basic tool isn’t free with upgrades that would make it worth investing in.

Paid to remove water and get Misaligned printing.

Sense the trial period was over. The labels I first printed was really good. But now that I paid to remove the watermark the alignment for a sheet of labels is not usable as there is no way to make adjustments. Out of thirty labels I can only use four labels. Will not be using the application anymore. I will be removing this application and using a different method of printing labels. Would like a refund since I only had the paid version for less than six hours. But most likely not.

Generally pretty good, with one flaw

Paid for the “Pro” version, and did a full page of labels on my iPad in about 5 minutes - app is intuitive and easy to learn, with one exception: I wanted to print a sheet of 30 mailing labels with 30 different addresses, and couldn’t figure out how to do it! Watched 3 different support videos that were basically the same thing but did not answer my question. Has anyone figured out how to do this, or should I look for another app?

Seems Like A Nice, Simple, App, But...

The only label size I have right now is Avery 5292, or 4” x 6”, which is a VERY common size of shipping label but perhaps not when it is only one label per sheet. MailingLabelDesigner has a kajillion Avery Label sizes... but not 5292. Seems there ought to be an option to enter the actual label size but there isn’t. Will keep trying apps.

Actually it’s really easy to use!

Use it for the first time today found it really easy to use everything lined up perfectly and printed out great! Didn’t even have to fire up my computer! The only thing that’s missing is an undo button in the ability to import address books if these get fixed that’s definitely a five star

Not Free

This is great app. So far it performs nicely. But, without the $5.99 payment the labels print with blue line across the middle of the copy they sates “Free Version Watermark.” MailingLabelDesigner is well worth the fee. But, its a tad dishonest to suggest that it’s free.

Give them the money. Worked first time perfectly. Watch the 2 min tutorial vid

Outstanding. To those of you complaining about no free version. Yeah, some of us have lives and would rather give $3 to the programmers who came up with MailingLabelDesigner, than waste time with free apps. To those of you who value a great app. Look no further. Pay your $3 and enjoy. Some of your specific avery labels may NOT be listed, but just do what they suggest and search for 30 per page or whatever, and something identical will come up.

Better than recommended

Way better than the recommended Avery for my labels. For some reason it doesn’t want to print right. But this will. And I can customize it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Simple & unique!

Thank you, developers, for this useFULL app! I tried several apps with all its complications in order to start, not even mentioning to “print”... and only this one took me few minutes to get my project ✅ it’s very recommended app!!

Excellent intuitive app

Just downloaded this little gem and paid the $3.99. It took me maybe a minute to figure out the interface. Well done and well worth the price!

Worth the purchase

No it’s not technically frew however for $4 I rather print labels off my phone than turning on my pc and waking up everyone in the house. Worth it if you ship multiple times a week.
