Multi Account Support Needed!

Bandcamp is great so far, but I don’t see myself using it much until multi-user support is added. I’m not at all a label but I do manage several distinct projects (both current/active projects and band discographies) — for my purpose, logging in and out for each account is a huge pain. The this app site has this option, hope to see it in Bandcamp soon!

A great, great start.

I had waited for this for ages, so I’m very excited it exists now. The interface is simple and the info they give is really helpful. However, I think it’s really missing the “downloads” and “buzz” data you can find on the website. I think that’s all it needs to do it’s job really well.

Pipe-dream type stuff - I’d love to be able to add new merch, modify merch stock for multiple price points (shirt sizes, etc). But I don’t think that all is necessary, though it’d be great to have.

love the app! one thing missing though...

It would be incredibly helpful to artists who release Name Your Price albums to have a downloaded section, as Bandcamp only mentions sales and follows. The downloads are the only way we can tell if people are grabbing it if they choose not to pay. This would be a five star review if it had that.

Really grateful this is out though. this app is such an amazing resource for artists these days.

Are you kidding me?

I was so excited to see Bandcamp come out, it’s about time! I like to listen to my own music because I don’t save my own work into my phone, but the BC app has a play limit even on unplayed songs.

Finally, the artists app, so you think you’d be able to review your own music and listen to it right? Nope. They’ve not even thought about adding that. I can’t listen to my own music. Are you joking? You finally do the right thing and make Bandcamp for us, and you leave out a key element? Wow. Well done.

Needs an Actual iPad App

This is an iPhone app. Feels a little cheap when used on an iPad since it has to be scaled up. Wouldn’t cost them much to re-lay the screens out & recompile. It is, after all, an app used by artists to assist in generating income for this app (as well as artists). Not really what one would consider “pro level”.

What’s the point of this app?

Bandcamp is barely functional and almost useless.

Either update Bandcamp with the actual artist functionality on the site or stop offering it.

Artists would be better off having to go to the site instead of opening Bandcamp hoping they can actually do something with it, and then finding out the truth.

Landscape View is Needed

Older users and users with iPads need a landscape view for every app. iPad stands rarely position the device in portrait mode, and we work with a keyboard, just like with a PC. So when we load your app, it is sideways. PLEASE provide a landscape mode. Thank you!

Pointless

If you need to actually do anything important like upload music or edit tracks or albums - Bandcamp is virtually useless. I downloaded it because I thought it would be helpful since I don’t have a computer, but it’s actually just easier to do everything on the website on desktop view ! 🙄 I usually don’t write reviews but Bandcamp made me so angry I had to!!!!!

Good. But...

I feel like on an app like this you should be able to POST your music and not just manage it. Also, there is a weird bug that it shows less followers than you actually have.

By

It’s ok

It’s alright for checking stats and stuff, but I wish you could actually edit your tracks, since that doesn’t seem to be possible on mobile devices.

By

Needs more

Would be nice to add music from artists app. Would also be nice for artists to be able to add tracks & albums and link them to other this app sites and accounts. It’s hard to find all music from a single artist on this app, due to certain releases being linked to different labels.

Maximum Rad-ness

Holy crap! this app has done it again with an intuitive and beautifully designed app. The messaging feature is my favorite. Look out fans, you're gonna hella photos of me eating pizza in the van.

By

Stats

Nice stats layout, appreciate being able to see how many unique listeners, but can’t seem to find the number of downloads.

By

Cannot Log In

The log in screen insists my user information is incorrect. It is not. I’ve used Bandcamp for months and randomly it logged me out and now I can’t access my own account. There are plenty of issues with Bandcamp itself but i couldn’t begin to describe them because I can’t even log in.

I’d love to upload albums with this ✨🥰✨

A this app dj app to play all my tracks live with effects and recording and au ability for other daws.

Or just allow this app to be used in a daw please so I can mix and record

Good, but missing features

Without the ability to edit albums, view draft albums, etc, Bandcamp isn't a true artist hub for this app.

By

Not what I was expecting

Bandcamp basically just tells you stats, hits, downloads et al. I was hoping for an interface for modding drafts, adding merchandise and publishing music from my phone.

I guess it tracks stats well enough, so I gave it two stars instead of one.

By

Drafts?

It would be nice if we could access our drafts on Bandcamp to listen to on our phones. Bandcamp doesn’t reflect the website on the computer enough for me.

By

Do you own any part of the music made?

Does the creator have the ability to sell material made ...

By

No stats information

When I use the Artists app rather than the website, all of my stats show zero, which is definitely not the case. Huge bug causing Bandcamp to be a complete waste of space.

By

Needs support for multiple logins

Great app! Would love to be able to toggle between multiple bands logins.

By

Useless

The most critical function Bandcamp needs, it’s lacking. I can’t upload my music through Bandcamp . 95% of my music exists on my phone, I don’t have a computer and therefore can’t upload my music.

By

Can’t

Doesn’t give me an option to create an artist account, I have a fan account which may be the problem buuuut...methinks y’all rushed this one
