سييييييء جدا . في كل مرا احجز لازم اكلم الكوستمر سيرفسز و وصل الموضوع اني احجز و اروح و ما القى السياره و هاذي المشكلة مرتين صارت ، اضافة الى اني حجزت مره و وصلت للسياره و للاسف بطارية السياره خربانه،، صح ان الكوستمر سيرفسز يردون بسرعه ولاكن على غير فايده ،،
The issue is
1- i book a car but I couldn't find it when i go to the location

2- the payment is pad every time i have to call the customer service and the are very fast to answer me but no solution

BAD APP

i will never try it again you have to develop your app or shut down it 😁

I booked a car today that was left with an empty tank. I barely drove 1 km before the car stopped and I waited 2 hours in the sun before their recovery called... to ask where my location was to arrive 30 min later! Luckily the police came to sort matters out with Cafu. No apology no manager to speak to - nothing! I strongly advise Udrive

There aren’t any cars available in Silicon Oasis, where they would get a lot of clientele. Sometimes 1 or 2 cars, most of the time no cars are there. Their competing company has more cars available everywhere, I’ll definitely consider using the other app on the future.

They have in purpose mande Apple Pay fail! Please Apple review ekarCarRental and remove it from the AppStore!

These people and company are scammers!!! They are stealing people’s money, they trick Apple Reviwers to say they accept Apple Pay, but in ekarCarRental they force it to fail and for e people to add their own cards, so they can directly charge whatever and whenever they want. They charge u disputed fines, they charge other people consumption and their scammer company run without a Customer Support team that people has no way to reclaim their money back!!

Please Apple, shut down this scammer company and remove their app from the AppStore for going against the guidelines!!!

Used the service once and after locking the car they block my account because they couldn’t make the debit card debit???? Now I have to pay 30 DHS penalty for not been able to pay with the card (as they said) when I told them the issue they tried again and went through but STILL banned and asked to pay.
Wrote several emails but they just don’t care about clients.

Faulty app, full of bugs !
App pay option is available but it doesn’t go through and then it charged me 30aed penalty !
Had to call customer service for everything !
Document verification is old and slow. Error while closing the booking and had to call customer service again. All this time was on customer !
Avoid at all costs.

One time started a trip but the car never opened. Had to call ekar customer service and they told me the car doesn’t work, they wouldn’t return the money to my bank account. Second time I was charged an extra 30 AED. It just seems that they are thieves trying to get your money without giving you a proper service

Don’t use it and I suggest you to don’t register your credit card with them. They charge you without notifying you with unknown penalties. They charge me extra and when I contacted them they said that they have right to charge any money they want.

It is stupid that the company charges 1 aed for updating credit card. And dubai is high on tourism and they ask lot of documents for a tourist and also charge a security deposit of 2000 aed. It also charges cleaning fees but majority of the time the car is not really clean. Would highly recommend to stop charging for updating information.

I used to recommend ekarCarRental to friends but not anymore. I just deleted it because the issue is happening again and again. I see the car on map, I book it and after I reach to the location it’s not there.
If you have time to waste go for ekar otherwise Careem worths the extra few dirhams 👌🏻

Although the idea and the service is very practical and nice, but the rip off hits you by surprise after returning the car if they claim that you have not returned it with the same fuel level as when u received the car Especially that it’s a percentage value that only the company can decide on, we as customers can’t know the numbers except when you find you were charged 40-50$ for fuel level discrepancy. Even if you had 1% discrepancy, they charge u for a full tank.

That is a Rip Off

ekarCarRental has a big integration issue with Apple Pay.
It deducting 1 SR from my account, even it was able to deduct the 3+ SR and roll back the transaction, however on reserving the car the process declined due to payment issue (btw the error was not descriptive at all).
After contacting the customer support, and they were very friendly and helpful, they confirmed that the system showed that the 1 SR confirmation fees not registered in the system and I have to pay again ( for the 3rd time).

It happened to me 2 times already where I take a taxi to reach a car and the car is not there. The call center did not answer the first time and later gave me the same excuse that there’s a problem with the hardware. It’s a good idea and a good service but not reliable for the long term (to be used as only method of Transportstion).

I’m trying to book a car but it keeps telling me there is an outstanding payment, it was the one riyal from the credit card for confirmation! I paid so far 5 riyals and still it’s giving me the same msg and I can’t book!
That’s a major issue honestly.

Loved the service and the cars provided by Ekar. Used an infinityq50 for about a week. Amazing car I must say and was in a great condition. Big thanks to the guys at Ekar for the service 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Their assistance was prompt when I required it. Love the experience.

Had issues with customer service before I could even use ekarCarRental pertaining to the promotion. Even though it took a bit of time, the customer service managed to help me out. This is a good indication and will look forward to using Ekar!

I really appreciate the good CS in ekar as I was having some issues about my account but when I called them they responded to my queries very fast and in serious way so I thank them alot for the customer care and especially to Mr. Tarek because he was very helpful and he must be an idol for the cusomer care field.

ekarCarRental was ok, then 10 days ago ekarCarRental is not working at all!
I called the call center and they just said that my account is ok and they don’t know what to do with ekarCarRental !!!
Even I deleted and downloaded ekarCarRental again many times it’s not working!!

I have money in my account and I can’t get it and no one at that call center know anything at all about ekarCarRental

I don’t know what to do anymore 😞

Application is disaster. It keeps freezing and its not updated . I made reservation snd was at place 10 minutes early just to see that the car was waiting for me 26km away from the place where i was . It was not a car i booked

Smartest and cheapest mode of transportation around Dubai. But you need a local (GCC) drivers license.
