reached out to the email and they recommended me to download NYCHRADocumentUpload because I couldn’t log into ACCESS HRA...guess what..fails to upload even a single picture. I’ve given up at this point. Absolutely terrible experience guess I won’t be able to use the benefits. Extremely frustrated and agitated at how poor this experience is.
Spent an entire hour uploading all the documents just for them to disappear completely. Thanks. Super helpful when I need money from the government and I’m going to get evicted from my house. Because I totally have the time to go through all my documents again and upload them again. Delete NYCHRADocumentUpload it should be illegal.
NYCHRADocumentUpload is a black hole. First, you enter the case number. It does not show you the status of the already uploaded documents as if each time you start from scratch. It does not even show who you are and what your case is about. The uploaded documents get sucked into the system, then you close NYCHRADocumentUpload , then when you start it again it does not show what’s been uploaded before.
So, they can alway deny you’ve uploaded anything and there is nothing you can do about it. Very convenient if the purpose is not to pay you any benefits because you missed the deadline to submit the required documents.
And where else did you encounter the system where you CANNOT upload the documents from your computer in their web site? From smart phone or tablet only - are you kidding me? And this is for low income and often elderly people?

NYCHRADocumentUpload only allows for pictures - apparently the developers have never heard of a computer, ipad or laptop, and they have never heard of a all in one printer. You will have to take a picture of every single document and then upload it to your HRA case (if you have several pieces of papers to upload you will have to make a movie). After speaking with an agent, the agent will tell you that they cannot see the pictures and that you will have to resubmit it again. If NYCHRADocumentUpload allowed for document scans, you would be able to scan the document and upload it to your HRA case.
So I noticed one huge FLAW I can’t upload photos from my gallery I have to send in my terming letter to fix my case but it was emailed to me because I lost it and now I can’t upload the Email to my account it makes no sense to not be able to upload something from my phone to NYCHRADocumentUpload ! I have to go out my way and print up a paper that I’m not gonna need next month. It makes no sense at all please fix this!!!!!
It was very difficult to submit documents. It is hard to find how to upload them. It was purely luck that the option to take a photo or to select came up as an option. There should be a button to upload and not a swipe.
Thank you! This application is literally a life saver. For people who don’t have a lot of time to turn in paperwork and also who don’t have a computer or laptop. NYCHRADocumentUpload makes everything so efficient and effective. HRA is the best and I'm very glad and impressed with the improvements and developments made for the Administration. If you’ve ever visited a processing center you know waiting time is at least 3 hours. NYCHRADocumentUpload saves you waiting in line and it’s pretty easy to use.
If I knew this before I would of been using NYCHRADocumentUpload, I can easily just take a picture of any document and it’s that easy !

I’m always afraid that technology is putting so much people out of a job. I’ve been to HRA Center, and the worker always seems angry, overworked and just plain out rude. NYCHRADocumentUpload makes the experience a little painful. Time-saving for a lot of people.
NYCHRADocumentUpload is extremely useful. I had no problem uploading photos, it was quick and easy. It just needs to email a confirmation that the documents were received.
Since covid it is hard for a lot of people who are full time students or workers to get to the center to return paperwork NYCHRADocumentUpload conveniently allows computer savvy people the ability to take care of and return paperwork requested by agency.
Just get a number at the center then create your user ID in their computer while they assist you. Once your done you must call the number that shows on your screen. And that’s it they let you know what documents you need and so easy to upload everything on there fast app online. :)
This services has improved, wonderfully, it crops your document for you automatically it doesn’t give you issues if you take a picture and put it in and coming out to large to upload. Great job with fixing these issues that I know I had in the pass.
