Was nice while it lasted. As of today 90% of the channels are not recordable anymore if you are in the US “worldwide”should be changed in the copy...

Chromecast suddenly stopped working. Customer service said they know about it and they are working on it. Let‘s see - i‘m a paying user and can‘t use YouTVgermanTVonlinevideo since 1 week for my TV. No compensation offered, no timeline. Thats really weak. I‘ll cancel my subscription. What a waste of money :-(

I can’t see anything of the Station and I paid over 18.$ for it not ever again

Recordings are lagging from second second. Watching a show is completely impossible! Will remove app!

I really want to watch my german series ... but how if it not sending me an email so i can finally log in ?! I already used two email addresses - and send me the email again and again but - surprise - N O T H I N G ...
fix it! (and yes it’s the right email address)

Signed up to take it for a test drive. It won’t recognize my credentials. No reason given for the problem. With this kind of problem I’d never buy it even though I’d love to watch some of the German programs I love when I travel in Germany.

Many shows or even the whole channels are blocked when you login or record from the United States.

I tried many times but the down load functionality is out. The Mark where the video starts is also not functioning anymore. Always have to start the video all the way from the beginning. Software maintenance is sparsely.

YouTVgermanTVonlinevideo is great - when it works. At least once a quarter something goes wrong. Either you can’t access your recordings, or new shows don’t download or something else prevents you from watching YouTV. In the past tech support has been responsive and usually fixes the problem by the next day. More recently reported problems go unanswered and app problems persist for 3 days or more. And no compensation of any kind (such as extending your subscription) is offered even when you don’t have service for days.

This is great! Only thing I wish is for subtitles to work, not sure if only some shows have it or if it’s a premium feature. I see the option for it but I can’t turn it on

YouTVgermanTVonlinevideo has been amazing for our family. It is helping my young daughter learn German (I am teaching her too but having shows that she loves helps increase and solidify her vocabulary). We adults love it for our cooking shows and cultural shows. Even my 80+ mother uses it. I download shows that I think she might like and she’s figured out how to navigate. YouTVgermanTVonlinevideo has been a huge +++++ in our family. We rarely watch anything auf Englisch anymore!!!

I am so excited that I can watch German tv at no extra cost.
I missed my German tv I used to have it but then the prices were to much for me to handle after all I don’t have time to watch that much TV do take full advantage of the price, so Thank you YOUTV for this it is spot on and so so great to watch German tv once again.

I have used it for many years and love it. Too bad some Chanels are not available, but that’s good old Germany lol.

Love YouTVgermanTVonlinevideo because get to see German shows I miss being in the USA however today stopped working something about being blocked hopefully can get it working again

Love YOUTV; I can record and watch movies I like in different languages. Especially for my Mom who lives with me in the US but doesn’t speak English, it is very important to view German language films. Thank you for making it possible!

Scheduled recording
Variety of tv stations
Price is good for service

Cons:
Biggest con: when stopping watching a recording it does not pickup where one left off. It’s search and rescue each time!!
Starts too early or too late with recordings, parts missing or waste of recording space
Even though some channels can be watched live..recording is prohibited outside of Germany? Huh? Is this not the idea of paying for this service?
Some doubled recordings I.e. series does not show summaries to eliminate / delete twice recorded shows. One has to watch the first 10 min and remember.

Before the latest Update on October 16th. 2019 I was able to program Shows ect for several Weeks out, since the Update that part doesn’t work anymore. Can you please fix this? Thank you

As a German living g in the us this channel is bringing me closer to home . I love to watch tatort . I am so glad to have it
