I was very concerned with the Rockwall, TX store. We walked in and there were only two other couples eating. We walked up to order and an employee was spraying the tray holder and wiping it down with a large dark green sponge with a place to slip your hand through. She set it down on the counter and started putting on loose vinyl gloves to serve us. I asked if she washes her hands before serving us since she was cleaning and she said no that is what the gloves are for. Well I am in healthcare and those vinyl type gloves have micro holes and tears in them and she was touching the outside to put them on so they were contaminated. I asked her if they usually wash their hands and she said no they are busy doing different tasks. As I said there was no one else in line and they weren’t busy. I put the tray back and started to leave but I turned around and stated if I am asking you to wash your hands before serving us food will you. She said yes if you are asking me. I think these employees need to be trained properly on food handling and hand hygiene.

Registered user from previous app for a few years and this new app is a total screw up. Can’t register or login from iPhone or desktop. Magic link MAY work if you are all smart phone and your email is on your smart phone. Any desktop use is a total disaster. Ordering at open of store is also a total screwup. The time set generates too many time errors. The older app (before March 2024) was way better and far more smooth ordering and registration wise. Also had to use a new email address with new app after April 2024. Not a business email. Only success registered from GMail email. Couldn’t use corporate email address.
All points and settings from past are totally lost with new app.
I have been using laMadeleineBonjourRewards for over a year now. I love La Madeline and have been a longtime customer (moreso when I lived very near one in New Orleans, but I still try to go as oftas I can - once or twice a month - to locations in Lafayette and NOLA. However laMadeleineBonjourRewards is extremely problematic! I get “no network available” messages routinely - even when I have 4 bars of service, whether or not I’m connected to wi-fi. May try uninstalling laMadeleineBonjourRewards AGAIN and reinstalling but I’m extremely tired of going but getting NO credit for it on laMadeleineBonjourRewards because it’s glitchy. If you have an app and market it as a reward accumulator, then have it WORK; otherwise don’t offer it at all! 😡
Used this for the first time today. Had three rewards available. One was my birthday reward. Was saving it because it said it had to be used on my bday. Picked up my meal and non of it was right. Didn’t notice til I got home. The store wasn’t helpful at all when they were the ones that put it together. Logged into my app to research my rewards and they had taken the wrong item off and now, the one thing I really was wanting wasn’t even listed but the item I claimed was there even though I got that item today. The store stated it was all laMadeleineBonjourRewards and there was nothing that could be done. Removing App from phone and for $30 bucks and not getting a complete meal I will be eating elsewhere for a while.
Last month I tried to use your updated APP to get a few dollars off a meal & the cashier said just scan the receipt. Did that & No reward. Since that did nothing & no one reached out to me after I tried to correct it through laMadeleineBonjourRewards that I “USE to enjoy for MANY years”, to offer a solution. NOTHING!! The reward was still not given. So I figure you dont care. Having a rewards APP go from an easy pay through laMadeleineBonjourRewards to useless is NOT a reward…its a job that takes the joy away. Keep your little $3 or 3O%. Panera & Toasted Yolk is nearby. Good luck
I ordered delivery on laMadeleineBonjourRewards and the delivery person was sent through Door Dash. The restaurant was out of a dessert I ordered and then the door dasher couldn't get in touch with me because I hadn't ordered through the door dash app. Therefore I was charged the full price of the order, but did not receive the dessert. I had to call the restaurant and we are still waiting on the refund for that. I would've picked up the call to tell them I wanted a different item but no one called me or contacted me at all. laMadeleineBonjourRewards needs to give the door dash drivers the phone number so we can be contacted. Please fix this.
We come to this location several times a months, and the majority of the times the order takers for the food and for the bakery looked kind of unhappy, they don’t welcome the customers and staring at you until you’ll start talking, the order takers at the cake area always have some kind of attitude, like we’re bugging them by purchasing their product , unfortunately this is only closest one in the area , otherwise we’ll go to the other LaMadeline location. We’ve been in several La Madeline locations , and only the employees at this location are kind of rude! Also most of the time we get our food late, even if the restaurant is 80% empty.
So you’re trying to reach status levels… guess what? If you don’t go often enough, instead of deducting the points you need to reach the next level, they add points. I’ve been trying to reach the next level after magnifique for the past year. I finally noticed I was down to needing less than 10 points to reach that level. After not going for a while I noticed I was back to 13 points needed to reach it. When I reached out to them they informed me that this is what they do since I don’t go often enough. As of now they bumped to up to 14 points. Pretty sad that they don’t want you to get to that next level. Other than this issue. It is convenient to have.
The food and service is great. Thumbs up to that. However app is poorly design:
1. Fonts are too small and difficult for an older person to read
2. You can reload previous order which is good. However you are then only allowed to remove and edit items. There’s not an obvious way to add items. It’s supposed to help to expedite ordering but the net result is wasting me more time. I had to remove all items one by one and start all over as a new order.
In the past, one of the most enjoyable aspects of a visit to La Madeleine was the chance to enjoy an authentic French croissant. Over the past week or two, however, the quality of the croissants has deteriorated dramatically. They’re now flat, doughy, and frankly not much different from the “croissants” one gets at Starbucks. What happened?

Seamless integration of monthly offers but ordering process still glitchy. Order number is useless for pickup, they don’t use it. Special instructions entered into the provided space while ordering is ignored half the time and the manager (Lakeline-Austin TX) doesn’t seem to think it’s a big deal and simply says they can’t see it, even though it’s clearly printed right there on my receipt. No apology, no promise to look into it. I’m thinking maybe the printout from laMadeleineBonjourRewards cuts off? Anyway, they need to address these annoying things.
My god laMadeleineBonjourRewards is frustrating. It says to change the order time, so I scroll to a different time and click, but then there's no response at all. I close the order time window since there's no save changes button anywhere in sight, and I'm back to the original time. Lather, rinse, repeat endlessly, until I give up and order from a different restaurant. I've given up twice in the past couple of weeks and spent my money elsewhere. Unless you're trying to lose a LOT of pickup business right now, make laMadeleineBonjourRewards usable.
Appreciate the ability to scan and earn rewards, order ahead through laMadeleineBonjourRewards with some shortcomings. Rewards aren’t always visible but, more importantly, “special instructions” on orders allow too few characters and just reset to beginning if you go over. Please add additional characters (or allow tag-ons, like “allergic to:” or “substitute: “ AND show the characters remaining for less confusion. Otherwise, love laMadeleineBonjourRewards because it gets us more of the La Madeleine we love, quicker!
I regularly order breakfast on Sunday from la Madeleine & pick it up. I recently had surgery & am unable to drive so ordered delivery. The first time was perfect; I’m currently waiting for a delivery. The delivery fee is quite reasonable at $2.99 & I always tip. When I pick up I always check my order since the added avocado & bacon are sometimes left out. I’m crossing my fingers that everything’s included in the delivery. Those bumps aside, I highly recommend the French Country breakfast. 🙂
My family and I have been coming to this café over the past 10 years. All of the food and pastries are so fresh, delicious, and unique. I personally love the butter croissant, the chocolate almond croissant, and pain au chocolat. My kids love their crepes. My husband likes their omelette. Their service is quick and the environment is so relaxing. I love to be there during winter and sit by the fireplace. I will forever keep coming to this place. Thank you for a great service.
laMadeleineBonjourRewards generally works well except when there is an app only special. La Madeleine offers frequent specials for app users, which are great, but they can overwhelm laMadeleineBonjourRewards . laMadeleineBonjourRewards will show the closest restaurant in “Locations” but if you try to place an order, clicking on “Order” will show the closest restaurant is now several thousand miles away. It will usually work right the next day, however if it’s a 1 day only special then you can’t take advantage of it. Reporting it to laMadeleineBonjourRewards department just receives a response that you need to turn on your phone locator even though it is clearly turned on or the “Locations” button wouldn’t work. So clearly they don’t intend to fix the problem and we will continue to miss out on 1 day specials.
Convenient app, but it doesn’t show my past orders, and doesn’t deliver even though I only work .8 miles, three minutes away. The coupons are a nice extra. Further, when I do pick it up, there is a separate sign for “pickup orders” versus “to go orders,” but they make you wait all in the same line, so even if your order is ready, you’ll have to wait 5 to 10 minutes behind people making new orders, as they decide what they want. Food is always great!
I meet with a men’s group that I started back in the 90’s. We meet for breakfast once a week on Thursday mornings. A Lady at the counter that took our money was friendly, accommodating, and saw to it that we were served. We have met at several restaurants over the years. I must admit she was one of the reasons we have enjoyed LaMadeleine on Beltline Rd. The new lady is fine, however, Leslie was a little ball of experience and I think represented LaMadeleine in an excellent way.
I love this restaurant, and I work just 5 minutes from one! But I can’t call in since I’m at work, and don’t have time to go into order. laMadeleineBonjourRewards is super helpful with that and I get small rewards with points when I order through laMadeleineBonjourRewards . laMadeleineBonjourRewards is accurate and has a nice design... I use laMadeleineBonjourRewards around once a week if I’m feeling rich lol. But it’s organized well, too! No complaints :)
I have always had a love for international foods. Growing up in an area full of diversity, fresh ingredients, and time spent in the kitchen. When I eat here it reminds of me that time, takes me back to a point in my childhood when I developed a love for food. Simple doesn’t always have to taste so simple! 10/10 recommendation every time
