Some of the other reviews are over a year old, so I gave KalturaMediaSpaceGo a chance to see if the issues everyone is describing have been resolved. It seems KalturaMediaSpaceGo was updated a month ago, so they should have resolved these issues, right?

Nope. Nothing has changed. The only option is to copy/paste the url for the video you’re trying to watch, which is a waste of your time anyway because an error message pops up saying “failed to load data.” KalturaMediaSpaceGo is literally pointless.

Doesn’t show the slide, doesn’t transition like it should. App is terrible.

Doesn’t integrate with my school site, which is the only reason I use this company at all as the pc program rarely works and requires downloading each time you use! Terrible company

Can’t even put in my schools hyper link to access the videos in this format. They need to drop this service they have an app they don’t care about seeing there is no iPad app and it clearly hasn’t been updated. Embarrassing.

As soon as I attempt to enter my site’s address the text entry box disappears. The screen then goes to recently used addresses where I can no longer see the URL text entry box. One can blind enter the address for it to work. Restarting doesn’t help fix it.

There is no link, no use for this application.

I depend on kaltura to watch lectures and it is absolutely horrible. KalturaMediaSpaceGo is not dependable and always has issues. The mobile website is even worst. I can only watch on my laptop. It’s 2019 why is that necessary. Fix KalturaMediaSpaceGo and the mobile site please. Starting a petition for my school to switch to another system.

KalturaMediaSpaceGo does not work. My school website (blackboard) told me I needed KalturaMediaSpaceGo to play a video on my phone and after I downloaded it I tried to play the video and it still wouldn’t work. It says it will open KalturaMediaSpaceGo and play the video but when I click open KalturaMediaSpaceGo opens but nothing happens. It just sits on the homepage. It’s really an awful app and it does not work.

Your integration with OneLogin does not work. It can not determine what OS is running and therefore it won’t allow me to open KalturaMediaSpaceGo with 2FA vía Duo.

Since the update, haven’t been able to log in through KalturaMediaSpaceGo , but I have been thru the website. Please fix.

It couldn’t find a single website. I can’t imagine there is someone out there who got it to work.

I’m a junior in computer engineering. I couldn’t get it to work. Maybe I’m stupid or maybe like the other reviews said... KalturaMediaSpaceGo could use some improvement.

If your institution uses Single Sign On (SSO), meaning you sign into one place to get access to everything, KalturaMediaSpaceGo will not work at all for you. Kaltura clearly doesn’t even have the basics figured out.

App is worthless. Will not accept my site address and have never been able to use it once. Needs to be removed from the market.

Being forced to use an app that either doesn’t work or lacks any user friendly interface. No freedom to choose an alternate platform. Kaltura user for over 2 years through multiple versions now.

I have to use this system for my college classes and being able to record using my phone would save me SO much trouble. Please make this easier as I am not the only student who could benefit from the improvement of KalturaMediaSpaceGo

Don't bother with KalturaMediaSpaceGo if your school has its own domain. Pasting direct links doesn't even work, literally the most basic feature. Opening from the browser also doesn't work. Pasting the link that comes with the "open in app" also doesn't work. Literally useless.

Half of the time I try to upload something it gets stuck on the “your media is being processed” screen. It’s often stuck there permanently, and there seems to be no pattern to when it will decide to upload a video or when it will give me that dreaded grey screen. What a frustrating app.

Best bit so far. Way too many acronyms, embarrassing.

KalturaMediaSpaceGo needs to be configured in the site you are accessing. We have had good success using it for our configured site.
