This game I WOULD recommend, but only for experienced and maybe even well known drawers. They call this “this app”, but it should be called “impossible little buttons that don’t save your work”. I made this beautiful piece of art and the second I pressed save, it asked “are you sure you want to delete?” And I freaked out and pressed “no” but it REALLY said “Do you NOT want this painting to be deleted?” And then my beautiful art that took me 2 WEEKS to finish was thrown in the garage. I mean, WHO PUTS THE GARBAGE BUTTON NEXT TO THE SAVE BUTTON?!? I was so upset, but at first tried to be thoughtful and not blame it on the game, so I decided to RESTART my drawing. 😫😫😫. That sucked. When I had finished the SECOND picture, I pressed save, and I got an email that was from the game that said, “Congratulations! You have finished your first picture!-“ (second because my other got DELETED) “-we would like to update the game to give you new brushes, canvases, and even unlimited access to you gallery pictures! Press the games link to update!” So I did what it asked and pressed the link and updated the game, and when I got back in the game, MY PICTURE WAS GONE!! That’s when it asked me the STUPID question, “hOw aRe yOu eNjOyiNg Paintwork?” And I was like BRU 🤮🤮🤮 and that’s when I gave it ONE star and was like- yEaH fuAc* n0.

At first, Paintwork was great. I had little problems. Then, about a month ago,I was having problems. Like many apps, there was ads. After playing ads, Paintwork would freeze. It became so frustrating, I seriously considered deleting it. After not using it for a while, the glitching seemed to have stopped. Then as I was making a collage(one of my favorite things to do with Paintwork) the fee kicked in. One of my favorite things about this was the fact it was free. Now you can’t even add pictures without paying a $7.99 fee. Paintwork was the best free drawing app I’ve tried, now it’s joined the list of impossible apps that need money to make the most basic feature available. I’m sooo disappointed because I truly liked Paintwork, but it went downhill and not worth the money.

Before this update, the bucket tool was able to fill in everything except what the outline is. But now it fills up the entire canvas like as if I have to color it myself without using the bucket tool. This is a update from 2 days ago so i can see this can be fairly new before i judge anything, but I dont know if the update caused this or its been a feature, but I cant fill in the areas I want the bucket tool to fill. And changing the tolerance of the color doesnt help either. It does nothing for me but does the same prompt of filling the whole canvas. Please take a look at it, I cant download the old version and I just want to art the way it was before.

I was originally going to rate Paintwork 4-5 stars because it offered use of all tools without an additional fee, good quality graphics, and user-friendly features. Sure, there were ads, but not a ridiculous amount, so after exiting an ad when opening Paintwork I could draw in peace until I opened Paintwork again.

However, with the recent update (that I seriously regret doing), you now have to pay 7.99 in order to get all of the tools and features. I am often using the Selection tool in order to get the size of something correct, and now I can’t. I think I’m going to be deleting Paintwork and find something better. For the price that is now being asked to use Paintwork to its full potential, you might as well download Procreate for two more dollars, and much better quality.

Because of these things, my rating is now a generous three stars.

this app, you served me well, but that stupid ‘update’ ruined you.

I have always wanted Paintwork that I always see called procreate. The only problem is that it is 10 dollars. Then I found Paintwork and saw that it was free! I was super exited to try it out, but got my hopes up a little. The main thing that I would change is the layout. It is that it is pretty confusing when you first get it because there are all of these different features(not that there are to many.) that were not organized very well, this made it hard to learn how to work it. But other people than that, pretty nice app!

I’ve had Paintwork for about two years now; I’ve used it to edit photos, and make some really pretty illustrations😁😁 The initial reason I downloaded Paintwork was because of the symmetry feature it included. I had been looking for an app that had a possibility to make a symmetric pattern very easily, and Paintwork sure did that perfectly👏🏻👏🏻 I was really happy when I found that I could make PNGs of anything! Now, I usually use Paintwork to make new widget photos or new app icons which always turn out awesome🤩 Im really happy with Paintwork❤️❤️❤️❤️

So if you didn’t know there is an app called Gacha life and it’s fun but not many color options so I was on App Store looking at my recommendations because I was trying to make edits without a picsart color and I saw this so I decided to try it out and wow! It literally perfect for me! cause i grew up to love art but usually just on paper but this is a whole nother level! thank you creator!

I love this game so much once I got it I was attached to it but there was one thing that bugged me..... the thing was that it really did not have a lot of emojis or sticker stuff I thought Paintwork would be like the free version of pro create it was acting like it but I really wish you guys would add more emojis and let us add more little photo shop cut out things like pro create if you don’t want to you don’t have to but in my opinion I would love that! But overall I give this an amazing review it’s awesome and I would love to see your response to this so I can find out if you will add or if you will not.😁🥳

This is an absolutely amazing app, especially for it being free. As far as I know everything is completely free from layers to some techniques that feel like even photoshop. Highly recommend Paintwork for any aspiring artists or any person just who is looking to kill some time! Best part is, there a very little ads and you do not receive ads while painting!

Paintwork is soooooo awesome! I was at a friends house and we were drawing on procreate and when I got home I wanted it too but I was only allowed to get free apps. Finally, I found this app and read some of the reviews. It had really good reviews so I decided to get it and I totally agree! This is the most awesome app ever! If you were like me and wanted to find a free drawing app I totally recommend Paintwork. Bye!!!💗

I’ve been using Paintwork for about a year now and I love it! Very easy to use and very smooth no bugs I love Paintwork so much! I’ve been trying out other apps like this but none of them can compare to this one! And I can’t pay for those big ones like procreate or something else but this is AMAZING! I love Paintwork and I hope other people do to! Thank you for your time if you are still reading this review I hope this helped!

I’ve been using Paintwork for a few years now and It’s been working great. I just wanted to make note of a peculiar bug I’ve been experiencing. When I edit a certain color’s brightness, the recently used color bar immediately gets filled with that color’s new shade. I’m wondering if this is happening to anyone else or if it’s just me. Either way, I hope this can be fixed soon.

so i’ve had Paintwork for about 3 weeks AND ITS AMAZING but today when i went to open Paintwork it wouldn’t let me open any of my saved drawings in my gallery it said something like “this photo can’t be opened at this time try again later” i thought okay i’ll just swipe out and turn off my phone and it will be fine so i did that and it didn’t work it wasn’t letting me open my drawings i tried to make a new drawing and just import my last work and it worked for about 5 mins then i hit the undo button and the whole drawing went to static and the undo button wouldn’t work so i deleted and re-downloaded i lost some of my drawings but i really love Paintwork please fix this i don’t know what happened but besides this issue 100/5 great app

So, I got Paintwork today bc I saw the great reviews and decided to get it. My one complaint is that it’s hard to draw with all the different drawing mods popping in your face after you switch from pencil to eraser and back. I was wondering if the developers could change it so that the pencil/eraser has a semi-permanent mode. Mabye make it so that we could change it by tapping the button twice or something.

I absolutely love this it is like a free version of procreate. It has such good graphics and nice brush stokes but I would like to see something like procreate where you draw a circle and you press and it makes it perfection but over all it’s a great app but I don’t like how huge the brush gets but you never know how big you need it so yeah it’s amazing. It has great brush textures and I like how you can choose from beautiful colors. I would like it if you could make the colors more bright.

If you’re looking for a drawing app, this is definitely satisfactory. Amazing for contour line drawings, but still able to draw more complicated sketches. Plus, you can make “doodles,” which is great for decorating patterns and text. Although Paintwork doesn’t go too far beyond simple drawings, it is almost definitely Paintwork you’re looking for. I drew some great fan art and landscape drawings, and I drew on a picture of Peppa Pig to make her look like MLG Peppa. If you want something that allows you to do super fancy art, go pay a lot for procreate or whatever. But I definitely recommend this, and with the right person, you can definitely make the masterpiece you’ve always been waiting to make. Sorry if that sounds made you cringe.

Ok yes. Best app everrr! I just can’t it’s sooo helpful and helps me on my art and I’m pretty sure has no adds AT ALL! totally yasss I recommend Paintwork it’s so helpful! Tysm for making Paintwork I really appreciate it! Paintwork is so cool you can use blended colors, solod colors, patterns, pastel colors, neon colors, it’s just the best! I totally recommend yass! All my friends have the same experience with Paintwork and apsultly AMAZING I’m in love 🥺🤩😃 now, since you got to the end of this review, go ahead! get it! I know you tempted! This is a amazing app great job to the creators! I love Paintwork it allows me to draw as if on paper and their are more tools like i won’t run out of supplies. And it does not matter if you are a professional artist or you just want to draw you can do both. This is like a better version of procreate for free! Amazing job, this not only is a great app it lets your imagination go wild. And everything is free you don’t have to pay for anything. So stop hesitating and download now!! Oh and have fun! Okay here is my only suggestion pls add a straining tool so you can straiten your lines like ummm you draw a line select the tool then your line is strait. Please add that other than that I’m speechless!

Paintwork is just, AMAZING!!! For the longest time, I wanted Paintwork procreate because everyone was using it on tiktok. But my parents wouldn’t let me get it because you needed an iPad Pro, and it was 10 dollars. I know that you can get procreate pocket, but you still had to pay for it. After that, I was looking EVERYWHERE on where to find a good/free drawing app. Then...I found this app!!! Paintwork was so awesome! It worked on any kind of device, had a bunch of features, and helped you make amazing digital art! So I really suggest that you get Paintwork, because it is simply amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a very versatile app that combines many of the features I consider crucial. Easy to navigate and has the means to create and alter geometric shapes or draw freehand. So far there have been no crashes or lost data as I have experienced with other apps. I would love to be able to duplicate and flip images which I cannot now. (Perhaps that is available with the paid app.) Ads show at the beginning but after that are not intrusive. I would definitely recommend Paintwork to artists and designers who want an intro to digital art.

It was good, then it started to log me out when I’d use the symmetry tool or copying. However, it only does it when I choose the canvas size, so far. It would say that the storage is low even when I deleted some artwork that I didn’t need. I’m giving it a three because I do like Paintwork but it’s frustrating when I’m trying to draw and I am thrown back to my home screen. Thank you for looking at my review and I hope this can be fixed, or I’m a dumb idiot doing it wrong. 50-50 chance

So,it’s not the best app it doesn’t let me zoom in to what in drawing or editing but yah! It’s a pretty good app I would consider zooming in tho to get the details in without messing up but i don’t know if I’m doing it wrong or it’s just Paintwork it’s self I like but just that really bothered me so yah! Pretty good app! (How many times am I going to say “pretty good app -_-) ............ ( DANG IT I SAID IT AGAIN!) 😂😡

I just got Paintwork, and I really love it so far! But for some reason when i open the "sketching board" it shows a grey screen, and when i try to draw nothing shows up. I'll have the option to select a tool, but it doesn't do anything afterwards. Im not sure if this is glitch or if I'm just doing it wrong?

Anyways, id be great if this could be fixed somehow

When I first started it was pretty good, no glitches or anything. But then for some reason the bars to change the colors and tools disappeared and I couldn’t change anything. But it was still good at first.

the apps overall easy to use but one problem is when I want to color in, it goes over the locked layers and makes the black turn whatever color. Anybody know how to make it so it doesn’t do that?

This is one of the best games I’ve ever had on my phone, it was a little tricky to figure out at first, but it’s super fun, it doesn’t make you pay to play, it only has ads

I love it. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is my favorite coloring app I have. I highly recommend it if you like to draw or sketch. Even if you don’t it’s still awesome.

I Like Paintwork very much the only thing that I dislike is that there is not much selection of color.

So here are good things : brushes , free, adjustable

Bad things : When adjusted to little can’t fix that easily

And that’s it it’s great

Paintwork is amazing! I 100% recommend it! The painting tools are really good! I can make whatever I want, and have the correct tools. Like graphic designing, the colors, eraser, etc. So I really like Paintwork!

I bought this because I wanted something like procreate but I can’t by it and this is just as good. It could use a layering feature though

I’ve only had Paintwork for a bit but so far it works great! I have tried MANY different apps and none have worked as well as this. Overall great app and would recommend!

It kinda reminds me of Procreate with all the brushes,a huge pallet, if you are looking for something like Procreate but free I recommend Paintwork!
