Site is easy to use and has many categories to put your photos in and contests to win money for something you enjoy doing!

I have been with this app from the beginning. Even though they have changed Agora a couple times with big updates I have been with them for the long ride and liked watching them grow and be apart of it. However with the first big update I lost all my stars due to an update glitch. They were very response and corrected the problem quickly. Then when closing in on the mater level I suddenly lost over half my points again. I contacted support and they communicated with me back and forth for over two months with no fix and then closed the ticket. I still don’t have the missing points. I liked participating in Agora but will delete soon if not resolved and secondly would love to sell photos on here but linking to PayPal like every other site in the world is not an option. Please fix the above and I will gladly give 5 stars.

The new crop is horrid. Missing out on the full frames of so many beautiful works of art. Not a single one of my photos fits this crop as I intend for them to. Not to exclude any artists that may be videographers, but the videography aspect of Agora has taken away from the photography side, which is what Agora was originally based off. I feel this is really unfortunate. Agora is a constant work in progress. There were several occasions where Agora simply wouldn’t allow me to log in, or post. Two crucial things. I think more thought could be put into the entirety of Agora . As far as the art and artists I love to see your work and creativity. Remember that originality and authenticity are what make a work your own.

Here’s the issue: people are submitting photos to requests when their photo has nothing to do with what was requested. This floods the request, and causes photos that should have a chance to not get seen. I see nothing being done about this. And it is always lovely to see a pic of some guys penis and balls under a request for people expressing emotions. NOT! Also, when you upload a pic and star gathering likes you should be able to submit it to a request at another time, but instead if you want an already uploaded image submitted to a request you have to upload it again. Losing all stars you gained on the original picture upload. So you can see how impossible hard it would be to “win” any requests in this environment. Fix these major issues and this would be a great app.

I wanted to like Agora, but here’s what happened. First, there are way too many irrelevant pictures being posted in each contest, making it difficult for your own submission to be viewed. Second, after weeks of following and rating, I still had zero followers myself. I did reach out to the people at this app to no avail. They will not respond to you if you have a question or concern. Third, although I know I am not a master photographer, I have received positive feedback through other platforms like ViewBug and GuruShots. However, some can get away with posting low-resolution pictures that receive thousands of likes. My advice: if you’re serious about being part of a community of photographers, look elsewhere because this is a shady site.

First off when I tried to make an account the first day having Agora it was glitching, and wouldn’t allow me to create an account.
When I finally was able to create an account I found when entering a contest, you have to remember to add the # or you will not be entered into any contests. I don’t see any options to edit the caption either. Meaning if you forget you have to delete your post, and start from scratch uploading photo, title, caption, key words, etc.

On top of the poor setup, it seems they have political bias when creating nearly all of their contests. If your photography isn’t created to push their “I can’t breath” wear a mask views, you most likely won’t win anything.
The only contests I saw that seems to be neutral were the, photo of the year, photo of the week contests, and one contest on small things.
I was thinking about expanding my reach from guru shots, and viewbug, but every app I download either has a poor setup or comes with malicious viruses.

I’m guessing the 4 and 5 Star ratings come from people that don’t know about GuruShots? Because compared to GS Agora is nothing but frustrating. Where to start...Ok, so you click on contests and a whopping two or three contests appear that you can submit to. Then you notice they are running for weeks? Really?? Submitting photos is painfully slow, voting for photos is also very slow, and now it will be weeks before anyone wins. I joined Agora just to have another photo contest site to have fun with. Guess I’ll keep looking because everything about Agora is painfully slow and that’s not fun. Try GuruShots and you will dump Agora, I guarantee it.

I have been a member of the this app community from its beginning. I was very impressed when I first joined. It was a fun and engaging app. What started out as a positive experience has changed as this app tried to grow faster than what they could realistically support. Agora is filled with bugs and stolen photos. The user interface has always been cumbersome and promised changes never came to fruition. Agora is unusable from a iPhoneX. This is has been reported and to date no resolution.

I did like Agora , almost a year ago. Now, I have changed my mind based on the issues Agora has. First and most important of all: I’m not being able to see my uploaded photos since almost six months. Neither my profile photo. Agora is just getting boring and useless. And there’s no filter for the photos that participate on the requests, they upload even stupid selfies and images of Transformers cars. Improve the performance of Agora and the filters of profiles, and you’ll be more successful. If not, well, keep going mediocrely.

I’m new to Agora and so far I’m enjoying it. I do have an issue uploading some of my pics! They will load all the way to the end, but they will never truly finish loading or enter Agora and stay in it! Agora freezes and won’t do anything else and I’ve had to close it several times! Hope you can work around this issue

I just re downloaded Agora after not having it for a while. I can log in fine, but it tells me to accept the new terms and conditions and it just loads forever. So basically Agora is useless until this bug is fixed which I doubt will be any time soon. I also remember the worst photos I’ve seen get so many likes even though they’re either poor quality or a photo of a leaf or something stupid like that.

I can’t give any stars because I just get an error.
I can’t contact them. When I hit Contact us it opens a blank page with no option to do anything.
There is no Instagram page after they tell you to follow them on Instagram.
If I download an app and right away there are problems, I’m going to dump it. There are others. Apparently Agora creator doesn’t care about it. Either that or they have no idea what they’re doing.

So far, I have not been able to upload any picture because my most recent pictures (the ones relevant to what is being requested through Agora . For example, roads or silhouettes) simply do not show up when my library opens for me to choose the picture. They are on my phone (iphone 6s plus), on my camera roll, and it even shows up in the thumbnail in this app, but the picture itself does not show, and I cannot, therefore, upload anything relevant.

it could be a lot easier to use. there are bugs like, the entire app crashing while trying to upload photos to your “GuruShots”. Also, it says i’m supposed to meet requirements to move up in my overall level but I’ve met the requirements (plus more) & my level hasn’t budged. I’m still a “newbie” 🙄

I uploaded 3 pic so far from my iPhone X app but when I checked them from profile I see only while blank image. Also not been able to give the profile picture, than I updated the profile pic from another phone. Plz fix this issue!!!!

Crashes on vote button press. Also, freezes at the launch screen when opened first time on iPadOS 15. Force kill Agora and open again works fine.

Please update Agora as it isn't optimised for iPhone X, specially when you upload any photo or try to cancle anything, the buttons don't work also there is some lag as well.

I have been sending email verifications for 2 days. I was told to check my inbox. No messages from this app have arrived. How can I sell my images without connecting to Stripe?

Overall awful. Agora could have been great but there are way to many irrelevant pictures, the set up doesn’t really works for showing off any of them. Also it used to be where you can post as many as you wanted that applied however with new updates you have to get credits to post more then one. Overall bad experience

I believe it’s long overdue for an update. It takes forever and a day to get a picture uploaded or it doesn’t even upload.
Having a real hard time with Agora and my iPhone 8 Plus and I don’t understand why. I love Agora and the community, but wow. Please fix!!!

I have requested a password reset several times but when I am sent the link it doesn’t work. I then contact support and they don’t answer or they write some confusing message that makes no sense. I have been unable to access Agora for about a week now. Poor customer service

this app is a great platform that allows artists from around the globe, like myself, to showcase their skills and create a positive impact on society. I love the fact that I get to see unique artworks and connect with artists from different countries, which fuels my creative inspiration and expands my artistic horizons.

I tried over 5 times to create a account, when I finally got in all of the changes I made to my account (links, social medias) weren’t able to update. I was left with a blank page that I couldn’t customize. I also noticed the ability to “boost” posts, I haven’t looked into it but this seems kinda like pay to win, which isn’t fair because not every artist has the same budget.

Agora used to be a beautiful community of amazing artists and staff, even the core team was involved in sharing their art. Then they started hosting ai competitions. Now it is no longer an honest or artist-minded platform, otherwise they would protect their artists from this talentless leeching atrocity against artists. Stable diffusion images aren’t art, they’re stolen amalgamations of the styles and artwork that millions of artists have done so far, used against their will to create text-to-image crap. It takes no skill to create except typing a word prompt. It’s the antithesis of art. And now they have people submitting ai photos in photography competitions. They sure do hard work curating and barring me from sharing my real art because of nudity, yet widely celebrate nudity on Agora . I was even told my work couldn’t be posted because of frontal nudity several times when the photo of the year winner was a fully exposed frontal nude. The team continuously stands by decisions and opinions that are completely hypocritical. But they’re fine hosting text-to-image algorithmic nonsense and having it compete against real art. It’s over… have fun competing against robots.
