I am a news hound. I look at news feeds several times a day. You don’t update your stories frequently enough. To have stories that are from a day or so ago isn’t current For example when looking for vaccine information when things change rapidly your story might be 19 hours old. Don’t even get me started about Sunday’s. I think you take that day off completely.
I laugh when your commercial says you provide the most current, up to date news.
My other complaint is that you do not always answer-who, what, when or where. There might have been a crime and you tell us in Cape Coral. Well where in Cape Coral? In my neighborhood?
I do enjoy your tv broadcasts but you app really needs help.

Like WINKNews to keep in touch with what is going on in the local news. Would be nice if we could save the articles to show others like in the Apple news.
Do not like the way banner headlines are set up. I click on the link to read the article or watch the video and I get no article and no video but a watch live and I get get nothing of what I wanted to read. Plus the banner is gone and I forgot what the headline was and when I do remember it is almost impossible to find when looking through all the news. Key words for a search is not helpful.

We are in Bonita Springs in the winter and I miss Wink news so I look at their app every day. I can see Covid news/ numbers and any breaking story regarding our second home. I can watch videos of newscast and I just live the staff at Wink News They are truly a fair news reporting station and that is rare these days!

Wink sends out a lot of push notifications, but when you click on the notif, Wink does not take you to the associated story. Instead, you have to DIG to find that story (which makes having notifications from Wink completely useless). If I wanted to dig through WINKNews I could just open it myself. I keep hoping for an update, but it hasn’t happened yet. So, I will disable yet again until maybe you guys push an update that fixes this.

When using the WINK News app on my iPhone, I will be scrolling down through all of the articles and WINKNews keeps jumping way back to the top. This causes me to have to scroll through all of the articles again to get to where I was. I’m wondering if they could fix this error. Also, the ads with the vain reporters are a bit annoying. After every two articles to see the same pictures of the same vain reporters. Quite annoying.

When it comes to information that I need to know, I turn to WINK News because I know I will get my answer. They are in the now and are very interested in knowing your needs no matter the subject. They are answering relevant questions in the now. They are people you can depend on.

You guys are the best. You tell us what we need to know about the news and weather. Thank you so much. Been watching you for 40 years. Miss Jim but Matt is doing a great job. I was so relax during this latest tracking and I suffer from anxiety. Well done keep up the great work. 👍👍👍👍👍

I watch Wink News in the morning and at night. I feel like I know you all, you are great! I will keep watching you in my home. My family teases me by calling me informative Mary I was the news and weather so much.

I started watching WINK in ‘86. I’ve never ventured since. WINKNews has continued there run of excellence. Jim and Lois are like family. The new people have consistently followed suit. Matt is as good as it gets. The young ladies are like a breath of fresh air. All professional and down to earth.

This newest version of a perfectly fine app was changed so people could no longer opt to see specific county news. Most stories are old or irrelevant, now. Not worth opening it anymore.

I have been using the Wink News app for over a year. I loved it, until this latest update. Now I can’t get any sound! For some reason it opens in mute and the mute button in the upper right corner will not unmute. I’ve tried my finger & stylus. When the button disappears I have to tap the bottom of the screen to get it back to keep toying to tap it. I have never had playback issues until now, hence the 1 star rating. Once this bug is fixed I will update this review.

Wink News keeps me informed of not only what’s happening in my community but also what’s happening in our world. It’s format provides a great summary and the weather in just a few minutes followed by local chatter or events.

Yes I rate you a five star because of your journalism and your weather app. I am a Snowbird and I keep in touch with our local news all summer long with Eric and with Englewood Sun Harold both great sources of news thank you. Mark Packer

This morning you never reported that President Trump was at the real Texas border discussing the crisis. You were too busy talking about the Trump Organization being charged by the left wing N.Y. attorney on charges that are all political. Unfortunately I had to listen to your bias waiting for the weather. You do get that right as that is the only reason I turn your channel on. You are not “ trusted.” But you are no worse than any other lying main stream media

Please just give us the real news you people are not supposed to be one sided there is always two sides to every story but to listen to the news outlets we only hear one side same thing in Politics thank you in advance

Please let viewers know it was the Wayfair mall in Wauwatosa not just Wisconsin. Very scary with so little information late at night. Many of us in SW FL have family in WI & would like to at least know the city. Rushing so quickly through stories makes us switch channels. Take a breath now & then. Thank you!

I like WINKNews but will eventually either delete it or turn off all notifications. I don’t need or want to be notified every time an article is posted. I’m keeping it so I know when vaccine appointments are opening up.

It would be nice if I could elect what news I want or don’t want to be notified about

Streaming live needs to be improved to include whether something is actually streaming rather than just saying “be back soon”

My husband and I have lived in Florida as permanent residents for 3 years. We depend on Wink for thorough, accurate and honest reporting. Their employees are always go out of their way to help you resolve a problem in your community.

But way to many, missing how the FBI blew another opportunity to stop the assault on the Capital by keeping it to themselves. I could go on with past and present failures by this terrible investigative group. Most police departments are far better than them they just have the $$$$$$

new update and updated WINKNews . Still no luck with push alerts. The bar at the top is black. Usually has an settings option, that is missing. The Wink Weather app is working perfectly.

Wink News is Our Channel for Great Reporting of all SW Florida News. We also follow Our Wink Meteorologists they are the Best especially during Hurricane Season. We’ve also had the pleasure of if Meeting Lois,Jim and Matt who were very informative at the Hurricane Expo in Punta Gorda and friendly .

I’m a WINK news fan, however WINKNews could cause loyalty to fade. It’s been over a month since the upgrade was installed on my phone. It has yet to work properly. When I click on a news article the only thing I see is the progress ball spinning.

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times, only to have the same errors occur.

Don’t expect much more than frustrations.

I love i can keep up with the news no matter where I am. I was back in Missouri when we had the hurricane in fort Myers and we were kept up to date. I only wish you weren't so politically bias.

Always accurate news report it, has the news before any other news station I am very articulate news reporters

This is easy to read; navigate quickly while getting updates!

Every time I click on an alert from my Notification Center, to read an article it takes me to the live newscast. I loose the article & can’t find it on WINKNews . Issue needs to be fixed. Missing out on great news, because of this defect. Thanks.

Started using new update this week. Not any better than before.
Sometimes I get a menu bar, sometimes I do not.
When I scroll trough headlines WINKNews takes me back to top and reloaded the page. Can’t get passed the first 5 headlines.
Works this way on iPhone and iPad. 😕

My app no longer works...except I DO get invites to go to the map. But it's "temporarily out of service" .....for the past month!
So if you want to watch the news you'll have to find a different app from a different station (that works).
I'll keep checking back...but whoever is in charge of making certain WINKNews is even working might consider this one of your heads up.

I always enjoy Wink News.....and their weather. They keep you informed on current happenings and most accurate weather.
