Summary of MotorTrend Problems 🔥

the mobile app doesn’t allow you to minimise a screen to peruse other shows or episodes. MT wouldnt refund me for me missing the deadline. I cancelled immediately after i got the 60$ charge. The havent ised this service for almost a whole year because 1. i wasnt happy with the app or the lack of content at the time. and 2. when i went to cancel the first time ( a month into my subscription ) it had said my account was no longer holding a subscription.

The app notifies me on login that I have an account, and then it crashes. I have tried clearing data and cache, uninstalling and installing again, and it still happens.

The app will randomly stop, and occasionally an error message. And than it stops playing and replays it in the background..

How to fix MotorTrend app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the MotorTrend app on iPhone
Update MotorTrend app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall MotorTrend iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix MotorTrend on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve MotorTrend network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

MotorTrend Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix MotorTrend not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the MotorTrend App
1. On android, goto Settings » MotorTrend » click [Force Stop]

Update MotorTrend to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear MotorTrend App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » MotorTrend » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart MotorTrend.

Fix MotorTrend unable to contact server/ MotorTrend internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click MotorTrend » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto MotorTrend » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
