I downloaded to app to try it out because the last company I used messed up a few pieces of my clothing. I signed up and they require you to set a reoccuring pick up and make it extremly hard to cancel any orders and when you do they dont stay cencelled even you not rescheduled. Everytime I cancel it is somehow rescheduled and you dont know about it until you get tracking information about the driver being on the way and when you cancell they charge you $5 in a cencelation fee. Also there is no number to reach out to for assistance and you are forced to deal with a chat system where it can take someone 2 hours to respond to you. This has happened to me twice and I still have not gotten any resolution despite several attempts of reaching out.
Pls do yourselves a favor. Try doing your own laundry or better to use other services. My almost brand new bright queen size white sheets/pillowcases including my other printed sheets has been damaged/mixed with my red duvet cover even though i had beautifully handwritten note on each bag on how to wash them and to not mix the red duvet cover on the bright/white ones.
Customer service representatives have always been online on chat group until now…they are completely offline. Poor customer satisfaction.
Dont get me wrong during my first few experiences was good until just recently. I dont know what happened to their laundry partner!
They should revise on how to choose services on their app.
Driver was always late in pick up and delivery time. Always cancelled and will pick up/delivery the next day..out of your chosen time which is a hassle for customers who are really busy.
Will spread this info on my family and friends and other online forums so they will be warned.
I hope you guys at this app can sleep well at night especially those at their laundry partner who weren’t very honest that they really did a mistake! They ignored my notes in each 3 laundry bags i sent them.
I travels to Boston for some medical procedures for my wife and thought this would be a great service since we’re staying in a apartment that does not have any laundry services for the month. Laundryheap seemed easy to use and my order was picked up. However, getting my clothes back has been nearly impossible. The delivery was canceled at the last minute and rescheduled to a time that was not at all convenient a day later only to have the driver for a second time not show up.
Contacting “customer support” has been a complete joke as it’s just a random International tech support center with people writing responses from a script who have no idea what actually is really going on.
I’ve even emailed the company which promises “24/7 service” and have not received any personal response for days. Now I’m out half my packed clothes and it looks like I’m going to have to buy new clothes.
My experience has been this place is a complete fraud -to take your money and your clothes and only God knows what happens to them. Save your time and money and your frustration and do not use this service. I’d be happy to amend this review should things change, but I’m not very optimistic at this point.
If you want to see your clothes again, do not use. First they misplaced a bundle of dry cleaning. When it was delivered I discovered I never received two pieces (worth over $500).
Not only did I have to explain to them they charged me for items that never got returned, they only offered $50/item. It’s insulting. To sweeten the deal they offered future credit. Would never trust this service to handle anything. I also agree the service is abroad. It’s evident when they email you to ask what kind of service you want. Any good dry cleaner knows.
I am going to bring my lawyer in to resolve the matter (once they ever give me a contact and address of who to address legal matters to - but highly doubt they will ever come back with that info).
Save yourself trouble, bring you dry cleaning to your local cleaner, nothing is worth the hassle.
Don’t recommend Laundryheap and it’s service at al.
they don’t have a call center, no one would have the courage to call you or acutely admit doing something wrong, very bad communication sometimes takes days for a response.
And if they did ! there answers will be , ok we will investigate after they do you well get a response ( I've checked the system, and I can see that your order was delivered to you on 09 Oct 2023. Please be advised that we expect our customers to reach out to us regarding any missing or quality complaints within 48 hours of delivery so that we can investigate the issue with immediate effect.) they don’t have an update on there terrible system about your new order on my case it was on oct 26
They don’t tell you or acutely admitting using a cheat third party laundry service
If can can remove the one star I would
this app taught me how to waste 50 bucks to ruin a 200 dollars silk shirt. They used way too high of temperature to iron it and the silk fibres are completely denatured. The texture and how it feels and reflects were completely wrong now. I grew up with silk and they tried to teach me how silk can age with wear and tear. It is my first time using the service and I sent 6 items for dry clean. Besides the damaged silk shirt, they DO NOT remove any stains!!! What's worse is that they stapled tags through the fabric of a couple of shirts right on the front and you can see the holes after you remove the tags. The customer service is horrible too. They all work from India so they replies your message in the middle of the night after hours and you can never really have a conversation with them. I will never use Laundryheap or service anymore. this app only cleans the cheap!!!
Beware… if you have an issue with them you will not get a resolution. They lost my clothes and did nothing to resolve the issue.
Background: I’m in London, England for work and the end of week 1 of a two week trip, I needed my clothes cleaned. I google places and this app came up and their prices seemed more reasonable than the hotel so decided to give them a try. They pick them up from the hotel on a Friday and we’re suppose to have them back in 24hrs. Well Saturday I get an update it will be Sunday. Sunday comes and goes and I decide to reach out that night they explain they will look into what happened and get back to me on Monday. Monday comes and they informed me they misplaced my clothes and to give them 24 - 48 hours to resolve. Needless to say I was furious and began responding with inquiries on next steps and how this is unacceptable… they followed up everyday with give them 24 - 48 hours. Well I go back to the States on Friday and they still haven’t resolve any nor refunded the charge for work they never completed. At this point there is not much I can do, but if anyone ever does a lawsuit and needs me to join in. I’m there! Personal opinion find another company with better customer appreciation.
It is peculiar that when dry cleaning service is done, my suits have shrunk. I thought it may have been my imagination after the first time, but when it happened again to a brand new suit, its seems obvious to me that the dry cleaning process and/or chemicals used had caused it.
To be sure, the first of the shrunken suits has been to a different vendor prior, without incident. I switched to this app for the quick turn around time and convenience of pickups and delivery. I was willing to overlook the one time my clothes were lost. Thankfully, it was found quickly and returned. To be fair, service was otherwise quick and responsive.
However, the disappointment of repeated damaged (shrunken) clothing is certainly not worth it. They are expensive suits that now won’t fit. I trust this app will be professional, fix the problem to rebuild confidence and offer compensation (replace my suits) and not simply offer a token discount off my next order.
I cannot begin to explain to you horrible experience I’ve had with your service. It has been atrocious to say the least and your customer service is even worse.
It started with pick up when your driver was over 2 hours later than the end of the scheduling time causing me to be late to appointments and having to leave my laundry outside for them to pick up.
Then after explaining to your diver where the bags were how they are labeled and what’s inside he still was confused.
Once laundry was picked up, i was contacted at midnight on what was dry cleaning, the bags were labeled. Then asked how to dry clean items and what items should be dry cleaned. You’re a laundry service i shouldn’t have to explain this to you.
I was very worried and still am that my clothing will be destroyed and ruined by your service.
Today when my clothes were due to be returned i was notified at 5pm there was an issue payment. Within less than 10 min the payment issue was fixed and processed and confirmed it was processed. It took your rep over one full hour until 6:20 to inform me my delivery wound not be tonight as it was too late now. There was no reason for this there was over an hour to confirm and get it shipped. They scheduled it for tomorrow when I’m not around.
I have had nothing but issues with this service it has been a horrible experience
This review is a warning to anyone dealing with these international scam artists. Do not use this app’s services, and please search for them, and you will see just how terrible this illegal company is.
These people do not have a location in the states whatsoever. They are Vietnamese and claim to have a fake address in Delaware, and they also have a domain in the UK. They act as middlemen between local laundry businesses and the customer.
They aren’t the people who will be cleaning your items and have no quality control. The service gets outsourced based on location, and this is how this app can claim all of the places they supposedly conduct business.
this app destroyed 5 of my dry cleaning items — including a Saint Laurent Teddy jacket — and lost one other leather jacket. These people claim to open investigations into what may have occurred but guess what? Nothing gets resolved, and at the end of it all, they claim no fault because their “facilities” correctly cleaned everything and that the deadline for filing any issues has passed.
Please do not believe anything they say. You can still file a formal complaint with your local city and state because we all have consumer rights regarding laundry services. I am having my law firm sue them, and so can you. You don’t even need a law firm to do this. Just go to TurboCourt, and for $25-30, you can easily have the docs filed immediately for you.
I ordered a mixed wash service (colored and white) for my bedsheets because I didn’t have any mixed colors in it. I only provided white sheets. They came back with brown crap stains maybe from mold or something disgusting all over my white sheets!! Every single one. I messaged them about this and they keep denying the hygiene issue and keep saying I ordered mixed wash so color must have blended into the white laundry. However, I only provided white linen!! So if this is the case are they washing my laundry with other peoples when this is a serious hygienic issue? On their website they clearly say they would never wash laundry with other people. So if it’s not that or the color bleeding what the heck are these disgusting stains!!! Do not use their service. The customer service keeps ignoring my complaint and writing same response. They won’t refund me after I rewashed all my laundry and even threw out some sheets they ruined! And they don’t have a phone number to contact. Only three robotic customer service representatives who are hopeless.
I have used their wash and fold service for over a year - and while it’s never been great (constant reschedules etc) it’s been good enough. I just returned from a long vacation and processed an order for 2 separate services - mixed wash and dry cleaning. I put them in two separate types of bags to distinguish, told the driver that picked up, someone texted me to ask to confirm the services, I promptly responded. When my clothing arrived, everything had been washed and dried on high heat. All my dry cleaning, including cashmere, pure silk, hand knitted sweaters, and a hand painted vintage dress. I promptly sent a complaint, they responded asking for photos of the care instruction labels, which I sent on the items that had one. The items are irreparable, but they’re insisting on inspecting them for 3 days before doing so much as refunding my order, let alone compensating me for my very pricey pieces that were investments. The text communication makes absolutely no sense, they are being as rigid as humanly possible. I have never left a review for anything or anywhere in my life - but this was necessary so others don’t experience this. I live in the SF Bay Area, for context.
They took my clothes then never delivered them in the 24 hour window and I’m leaving town. They have no support number, and no way to get in touch with anyone who can actually do anything to help. I said just let me know where my clothes are so I can go get them, even if they aren’t washed. Nothing. No help. I will never trust any online service again while traveling. Ever. Never let your clothes out of your possession. Learn from my mistake. Just go to a local laundromat and do it yourself. This is beyond horrible.
I then was able to get someone to respond through a message in Laundryheap , and they sent a bag to me… But the bag they sent wasn’t my clothes… It was some dirty blanket from someone else. So I don’t know what ever happened to my clothes, but I’m about to get on a plane. This is the first week of a month-long trip in Europe, and I have absolutely no clothes now, because this company lost them, and gave me a dirty blanket in return. I cannot express how absolutely horrible this services, and they’ve lost, hundreds of dollars in expensive clothes, because I trusted these people. Do not trust Laundryheap, absolutely never!
I never write reviews. However my experience with this app was so bad I felt compelled to. They advertise 24 hr dry cleaning. You won’t get your laundry back for at least one week. They will lose some or all of your items - trust me. They will keep saying “we need to check with our facilities”. They will keep lying saying that everything is fine and the clothes will be delivered tonight. They won’t be. There is no phone number or location to contact.
Do not use this service. I warn you. They may respond to this review (perhaps) saying “we are sorry this happened to you…blah blah”. Don’t listen. Without a doubt, I had the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company with this app. Use any other service or if you are still dead set on using this company, you may as well throw your clothes away.
I've used laundry heap about 5 or 6 times now and while I initially brushed off the annoying experiences (wrinkled clothes, lost items, clothes folded inside out) during my most recent service they have ensured I won't be using the service again. My clothes supposed to be delivered on a Sunday, when they didn't show up I checked Laundryheap to find it was delayed until Tuesday and there were items I needed and would not have sent. Additionally they sent back a bag with two ripped handles as opposed to replacing it. In the past they've lost items and almost every time I get clothes back they are wrinkled. This most recent time they were all folded inside out, so there was zero time saved. Terrible experience and will not be using again.
I’ve used the service for a month now. First time was great, but I later noticed the et charged me over $110 for what I thought was two loads- and they charged that almost every time. On about 5 occasions they have not picked up or delivered the day the promised- missing by a few days. St first u was impressed Laundryheap says they can pick up and deliver the same day. They can’t. You are lucky if you get it the next day. One driver said it was a wrong address for pickup, but it wasn’t- they had picked up several times and did it try to call or come back when I get a message and contacted. For returns they just push it back until it suits them with no urgency. Still it’s convenient, and easier than trying another app right now, but I plan to. No problem with the laundry itself… just pick up and delivery and communication . They really do not seem to care, and but there app notifies you when the driver is near, which he wasn’t when he missed the pick up and said the wrong address was in the system, that. Worked before fine and was still correct.
During my extended vacation/hotel stay in London, UK 🇬🇧 the laundry service provided by this app was an absolute blessing. The service was great and the prices extremely reasonable, especially in comparison to the hotel’s laundry service. Staff was courteous and efficient. Only 1 time (out of 4), was a promised delivery rescheduled to the next day. My recommendation is to not depend on the 24hr delivery promise if you are on a tight schedule. Overall, the service and communication was still very commendable, but the inconvenience should be noted. I will use them again and again. I highly recommend!!!
Nice. Reliable and perfectly timed along with some other dry cleaning items in through this app—- and return it within a day or two. The drawbacks getting acquainted with the service is that the dirty laundry must be bagged in the blue bags provided and tagged, with your name and order number. Plus, it must be brought out to the driver for the pickup— this part is really what drives either giving a tip or not. It would be nicer surely, if they went up to the apartment to bring it downstairs to load it into their vehicle. And vice-versa bringing the clean laundry to me from downstairs … it’s still self-service in ways too. And having to wait on the drivers in the cold loading and unloading the bagged laundry—well it’s a chore too. Sometimes however appreciated the great lengths the drivers go through is tough enough and everyone deserves credit of course for the work they do. But, it’s an expense. No doorman or concierge in a condo here, yet still a great service provider for laundry when I cannot make it over into Brooklyn to have it done by the regular Laundry Servicers I love the most. Great though— on short notice and the turnaround times nonetheless is really spot-on.
As COVID has meant I work from home, I do not do as much dry cleaning as I used to but when I do I do it, I do it with this app. The service form their Singapore partner is exceptional - pick up and drop off at the Condo was within the times booked and the online tracking tool tells you almost to the minute when the service will arrive and updates in real time so you are ever left “hanging” or wondering what is going on . TheCleaning is always excellent and clothes come back nicely hung so they can go straight in Wardrobe or be worn straight away. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for great cleaning, great service, and at a very competitive price.
We are Americans traveling around the UK for three weeks. The hotel prices for laundry are insanely high and laundromats are not a common thing here. My hotel concierge said many guest use Laundry Heap.
I used Laundryheap to schedule a pick up. We weren’t going to be there, so I dropped the clothes at the front desk. That was it…the person doing my laundry sent a text to make sure they knew what I wanted and in 24 hours my laundry was clean and back in my room! I did both dry cleaning and regular wash/dry. I will be able to use Laundryheap in Paris later this week and in other UK countries too! The price was very reasonable and it was soooo easy!! Thank you thank you!!
