Get Pricing Info for Applebee'sReceived a 50.00 Applebees gift card for Christmas. Went to Applebees who only has one restaurant on North side in Jasper Indiana. My wife tried to order a dairy free meal because allergic to dairy. Waitress was friendly and said would talk to someone above her station for help. She returned and said they couldn't serve anything dairy free I stopped in with my gift card to ask for a solution. Manager was extremely rude including calling me names I can't repeat because of foul language. He told me to leave and would under no circumstances help me solve the use of my 50.00 gift card. I am 80 years old and have never ever been treated so horrible as I just was today at this restaurant.
My birthday was this past week so, my husband took me to Applebee's in Bristol, Tn. on the Volunteer Parkway. I turned 70 years of age. We were told that the only mashed potatoes we could get had garlic in them. EWWW!!!! The waitress was rude and stated that we could not substitute any other side on our plates. WE LEFT & WILL NEVER BE BACK TO ANY LOCATION EVER!!!!!!!! We loved it there before this-----we also called all of our friends and, they wont return either.
Good afternoon. Last night we drove over to the Applebee's to purchase and participate in the Gift Cards Flash Sale that ran from Sunday-Monday. I went to the restaurant that we always go to on SR64 in Manatee County in Florida. To my luck they were out of cards, and I could not purchase any of the cards. We were planning to purchase $200.00 worth of gift cards as we give them to our kids for the holidays. We go to this restaurant several times a week as it is close to our home, service and food is great. The sales associate at the store informed me to try to purchase the cards at the other store in Ellenton Florida but this was too far from our home. The manager suggested we contact headquarters to see if you might honor my purchase for the $200.00 Gift Cards Flash Sale. Please advise and thank you.

Aesthetically, this app is great. Functionality wise? Awful. This app doesn’t acknowledge what hours all locations are open, so if I ever select to place an order, it always says “Closed” and doesn’t let me place an order, no matter what location. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app multiple times, and I’ve had to resort to using the actual Applebee's website on my browser to place orders to-go, which is very inconvenient considering that has the tendency to mess up as well. Not to mention the menus are inaccurate... Look, this app has great potential and people obviously seem to be working on it considering the patch notes (despite their vagueness), but as of right now, I recommend the developers to stop focusing on looks and actually get the thing to work... I get that y’all are trying, but you guys are working for a chain that boasts a big name. Please try to back it up and prove that it’s actually worthy to be downloaded. 🤷♀️

This review is for the Applebee’s app, not the restaurant itself. I could not place my order through the app, I have used it before but it would not work today when I tried to order. The whole purpose of the app is the convenience & it failed on that! It should not be a problem for a company of this size to have a workable, user friendly app. Also, there needs to be a place to add special instructions on each separate item you order for a variety of different reasons. I’m sure adding the app has increased Applebee’s business at every location they have, put some of the increased revenue back into creating & maintaining a user friendly, workable app! If this is not done, that revenue is going to disappear plus more because of customer’s increasing annoyance & frustration with the entire Applebee’s chain!

TLDR- do not use the Applebees app. I ordered food, and when I arrived they claimed to have not received it. I showed them the confirmation email, they still said I didn't order. I was then pretty frustrated, I tried to get my money refunded, they refused, said that I needed to contact the app, but that they will put of my order if I want. As I had no choice because I Didn't want to absorb a $50 bill, I gave in. I then had to set there , this was taking well over an hour. They offered no drink while I waited, I received no apology because they think it's the apps fault. This is bad news, I like Applebees alot, I am a techy person, I know I did everything correctly. Honestly I do not plan on going back to Applebees again, but I do plan on sharing this experience
