Everything in one place

Cedars-Sinai is an amazing place. If one has to be ill, this is by far the best place to be. The medical professionals are among the best in the world but this is only one part of what makes them so much better. Here the doctors, nurses and technicians actually care and show it. The philosophy of the medical center is to take care of the complete patient/person and take into account the immediate family or care givers. A totally different attitude from all the other hospitals we’ve come into contact with where they treat patients as income. The Cedars-Sinai patient web app could be no less. All the medical information in one easy to access place.
The only addition I can think of is to have the more complex test summarized in easier layman terms.

Difficulty w/ sending a message

I attempted several times last night to send a message to Dr Cruz. It would not allow me to send as the send icon was not lit. Finally after several attempts, it allowed such. It would have been helpful to have a live assistance, or chat w/ customer service rep available to assist. I could find no ph# to call or any option to help me w; technical difficulties!
Very aggravating.
Also, once my message was in the process of being sent, CedarsSinai notified me that my mail had been successfully sent. Today, I went to look to check if my message had been received or delivered. No options to check. Couldn’t even see the message I sent.

My recent visit

The doctors and nurses were extremely nice and patient, very informative and kind. There was only one nurse that was impatient and not as kind as the others were. She seemed to be a little aggressive and agitated, as if she didn’t want to be bothered. Her tone was assertive and aggressive at times. Looking back, everything that is going on with Covid 19, she was probably overwhelmed and a little stressed. Yet, Im not going to allow one bad experience to reflect on how nice the other people treated me.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience being that I was in the hospital. Keep up the great work and I appreciate all the help that was given to me. You guys are greatly appreciated every single day.

Dr. Jignesh Patel and staff

After having two previous cardiologists and an electrocardiologist, the first cardiologist did absolutely nothing for me for a long time and could have prevented me from ending up with Heart Failure. Then I had two failed catheter ablations and had a severe anaphylactic reaction on the second and procedure and the doctor wanting to schedule surgery for a Pacemaker.

Fortunately for me, a very good friend, Kathy Jo Nuttal Peterson, asked me to please give Dr. Patel a chance and get a second opinion. Seeing Dr. Patel and his staff, Cedar’s Electrophysiologist and staff is the best decision I could have ever made. I’m post-one year now. I’m in Stage A, but Dr. Patel has been so amazing by wanting to treat me first with medicine, and my heart is functioning almost normally now when my ejection fraction had been borderline.

I am just so very grateful I was referred to Dr. Patel and Cedar’s Sinai. Thank you very much for giving me more years to live with my broken heart.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Communication from client to Dr. and Dr. to client

My experiences with my provider never got off on a good start: was put in an examination room and left there for Thirty minutes…I could here staff talking and laughing in the room to my left side where Thermometer is attached to wall… I knocked on the wall several times but no response…When I made my Dr. aware of this it was met with an indifferent attitude and quickly apologized… And admitted she heard the Knocks…😳!
At this same appointment during first visit my symptoms of Covid I shared with my Dr, (which had taken place 2-3 month prior) … were not heard… And an extra vile of my blood was ordered and never used (according to your lab)…?
My Dr. told me among routine blood work she was going to order a “Blood Test For My Bone Density)… to this date it has not been done…???
However after waiting I now have one scheduled far away into October…?
This is just a small part of my experience and don’t have space or time to share how I ended up in Emergency a week ago… (lacking a Rx for my sensor for my Diabetes…!
Genuinely Sincere,

Cynthia Delgado

Much improvement needed

Not a very practical tool being that treating doctors don’t have to be on it, and if they are, they sometimes reply very late, or not at all.
The website sometimes freezes before you are able to finish a long email, and the text is lost, making you have to start all over.
It should be possible to continue from your own last message when you do not hear back from your doctor, in order to have one thread with all communication in order. I receive email notifications of after visit updates, when I have had no appointments, and can’t even see what’s written. It should be possible for me to view who has accessed my page, not only see my own entries.
Doctors who have called me back have not taken the time to see what I’ve written and explained on my CS link, so it feels like a lot of wasted time.

Quality Healthcare

I recently received a notice in the mail that my group of my insurance plan would be changing. At first I experienced some anxiety, as I’ve had to get a whole new set of doctors. But when Dr. Yalda Azarmehr video called me this Sunday afternoon, she ensured that she was getting all of my information accurately recorded. She even told me that one of the other new doctors that I will be seeing is really excellent. While I haven’t met Dr. Azarmehr in person yet, I feel extremely confident in her care as my Primary Physician. Thank you and bravo to Cedars-Sinai for this excellent first impression in my medical care.

Exceptional Care

I’ve had three very delicate spinal surgeries in the past three years and unfortunately may be needing that many more in as many years coming up. I have been under the care of Dr Neel Anand and his group.
ALL of my surgeries, hospital stays, follow ups and everything to do with my care has been exceptional!
I had four prior spine surgeries at other locations and none compared to the treatment and care I received at Cedars-Sinai and from Dr. Neel Anand and his group.
I am so thankful to still be alive and have a meaningful life because I was lucky enough to have been accepted into the Cedars-Sinai and Dr Anand’s care!

An Independent Hospital

The way this hospital is run, the way they answer the phones promptly. There is such a high standard in the hospital even in the lobby. They are great doctors and nurses all over America and the world but it feels like this hospital has all of them in one place!
It has a strong/happy energy about it and a sweetness. Cedars also takes care of people who fly in from ALL over the world…weather they can afford it or not!
(no matter where they’re from or who they are) An extraordinary and advanced creation.

Great people giving great service

I have been with Cedars-Sinai for a couple of years now since my mom has started working there. And I can honestly say they really care about their patients. I have not had one bad experience. They make you feel like they really care about you.... which they do. They always ask questions to make sure they have all the information they need. One of the best!!!!

Kim Schulte, husband

Hate your terrible program. Who wrote this untested junk? Why did you implement such a piece of crap.
It does not allow you to go back to previous pages, it took 2.5 hours with your “expert” trying to walk us through the program re starting it at least 9 times. It would not take the input for known medications even though they were in the drop down of medications. It would not accept the “family history “.
Today it after sending an alert to an upcoming visit sign in, it did not allow the VISIT button to appear in order to sign into the check in log.
Additionally, your nickname continually says nickname is taken .

App is not logical, frustrating to use

CedarsSinai has clever transition animations but is extremely unintuitive and frustrating to use. There are 2 menus - a pop up and a totally different one you get when you swipe right. The latter logs you out every time you use it. How exactly are you supposed to get back to the home page from the test results screen? There’s a random initial up top which you might think will take you back to another screen, but it’s unclickable and apparently inaccessible. I’m surprised there are so many good reviews though they seem to be for the medical care and not CedarsSinai . Whoever made this needs to hire for UX, not just UI.

Nice for tests

I love being able to see my rheumatology results.
For the “medical conditions“ section of CedarsSinai, it has wrong things, which I don’t know where they came from, and that is annoying, because if you deny having this condition to a new doctor, a doctor always thinks you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.
I think it’s great you can email your doctor.
I think that says a lot more about the doctors than about CedarsSinai .

Great for Communication

CedarsSinai is extremely useful for communicating with your providers and also for receipt of test results (especially during the pandemic when I’ve had multiple COVID-19 tests due to exposure). It also houses your information so you have everything in one place and can see what your providers are seeing. I highly recommend you download if you are a Cedars patient.

App performance and other communications

I used to live three blocks south of the hospital but now have retired 130 miles north-east of the hospital so timely communications are essential. App, phone, emails and CS-link are essential between myself, Cedars-Sinai staff, Cedars-Sinai Neurosurgeon, and locally monitoring Neurologist.

My wife was also referred by her local Neurologist for Parkinson’s screening last year at Cedars-Sinai with a procedure not available locally.

Their staff, procedures, facilities, used of technologies are superb!

CS LINK - AMAZING

What an amazing user-friendly can this portal be. Surely, in my experience it has been the most effective way to communicate & to be in-touch with our doctors and getting results of lab, all sorts of blood tests & other tests in a a very short time which is so vital to us patients, has been so helpful to give us peace of mind from minute to minute.

Thank you CS Link!

Helpful-ish

CedarsSinai is great for finding upcoming appointments and paying your bill. It’s nice to have it all in one place.

If they could include parking information for each practitioner, that would make me give five stars. Finding a unique practitioner at Cedars is like wandering around a maze until you get lucky. Knowing where to park as the best and most convenient place so you don’t end up waking a half mile is a random stroke of luck. And if you don’t feel well? It’s a lot.

Glitchy

When I attempt to login with correct User ID and correct password, an error message appears that “login info is not correct, try again.” App is not consistent between iPad and iPhone relative to login. Too many login issues. CedarsSinai needs improvement regarding login glitches. My correct login data is recognized on one device and not on the other.

Best decision I could have made

I have never been admitted to a hospital for an overnight stay, but I have visited people and stayed with my mom when she was admitted a few times at other hospitals. Cedars-Sinai is AMAZING! Every staff member I have met has been kind, caring, and knowledgeable. The nurses are EXCEPTIONAL!!! I feel so blessed to be here. Dr. Andrew Li and his team are WONDERFUL and highly SKILLED and very CARING. Thank you all so much.

Love This App

There is nothing better than being able to review all your test results, medical team notes and other health related documents all in one place.

The only problem I have with CedarsSinai is that Cedars network doctors don’t post my information online, providers like Tower Urology.

It’s the missing link.

Great Job

I’m thankful for Cedars-Sinai every day! I’m a (almost) three year bilateral lung transplant recipient! Dr. George Chaux & his associate doctors are the best! ❤️💪
CedarsSinai keeps me organized, up to date & makes it super easy to communicate directly with my doctors or transplant coordinator. Not to mention updated list of meds in my phone, recent bloodwork results & I get a text telling me my results are in & reminding me of upcoming appointments! You rick Cedars-Sinai ❤️💪😘

Not connected to Dr Office

I completed a a doctor office pre-visit questionnaire, which was comprehensive and took about 25 minutes on my cell phone.
I did this believing it would avoid the regular paperwork I normally fill out at every kerlan and jobe Sr visit.
I checked in at the Anaheim office. The receptionist gave me the clipboard with the usual forms.
I told her,”I already completed everything online.” She was very kind and said they do not have access to the online information.
You need to “Connect” you systems and make them useable. Or, tell your patients not to complete any pre-office appointment check-in. Waste of time

An hour and a half wait for a sick visit to my primary care doctor:;

Why bother having primary Care? I have to go to immediate care because I couldn’t wait another hour after waiting a half hour to see a doctor. Not even my doctor.

Bummer.

On a positive note Dr Fitzgerald had always been super helpful and responsive.

Great App

Admit it. You’re spoiled if you’re a patient at Cedars. Not only do you get the best health care in the world, you get CedarsSinai! Super convenient to message my doctors, obtain rx refills, check and/or share my medical record, or double check when my appointments are coming up. Such a convenience, especially when I live 500 + miles away.

Good health, good help.

I only started using it yesterday which is why I can only give four ratings as I am not the best at using this gadget. I have my next doctor appointment at Cedars Today ,so I will have someone there help me to further navigate through the system. It’s a great idea. It’s a great relief to get answers when you need them. Thank you Cedars For helping me through the tough times right now.

Love the app, but...

I really love CedarsSinai for many reasons, but it would be nice to be able to search test results. Or have a relevance pull down by date, test name, alpha, dr etc... would be even better.

Also print/email options. If those are available on CedarsSinai please....someone let me know.
Thank you!
