RepairShoprLite has the potential to be incredibly useful in so many ways, but falls flat at every turn.
For example, the barcode scanner takes you where you right where you need to be - but in a ticket, for example, your worksheets will become completely jumbled up and out of order.
If you’re editing a text field in that ticket, RepairShoprLite slides it underneath the keyboard so you can’t see what you’re typing. When committing communications notes, there is no ability to put in line breaks.
You can’t even cleanly process payments/invoices in a similar way to how it works on a computer, so RepairShoprLite requires its own training to operate.
RepairShoprLite would be miles better as a wrapper for the mobile site, retaining the main menu/barcode scanning functions for easy navigation.
An opportunity for improvement over the mobile site would be enhancement of signature collection, since that can be a little fiddly in a mobile browser.
