I am a new account holder and just got my key fob and I cannot even register for GoldsGym . It keeps saying that my barcode number is incorrect. I have entered it three separate times. I tried changing the zero to a letter O, I tried putting it in without the letters. Still to no avail. When I called my local gym they suggest said that sometimes GoldsGym just does that. I literally do not understand how GoldsGym can be so terrible when my membership costs me twice as much monthly than Planet Fitness which had no app issues, kept track of my badge ins, and also had a live gauge to note how crowded the gym was at any given time. I’m coming to Gold’s for the classes, but maybe I’ll keep PF just in case. Get it together, Gold’s.

With this new update GoldsGym is not accessible. The color contrast of title text is minimal: so a dark grey or black font does not display on these blocks of black throughout GoldsGym . Before this update, I could book classes and read what class it was. Now I can’t even do that at all.

I’ve been trying to login to GoldsGym for 2 months. I have a new iPhone and only a 4th of the storage on the phone has been used. I try to login and it tells me everything is wrong although I know it’s not. I try to reset the password and GoldsGym freezes. I’ve asked at the local gym and the most help I have been provided is being told to uninstall and redownload GoldsGym . I’m hopeful that it will work when I get it installed but as of now GoldsGym is trash and there is no way to get support.

Ok so it only helps with one thing check in. How about an app with work puts and recipes and log in your work out. Motivational work out. You should check out the 24 hours fitness app its great and hou can creat work outs for the month

I tried many many times.
Contacted Golds gym, they told me to log out then log in again, but GoldsGym still doesn’t connect me.
I’ve been a member for nearly 20 years.
Now I can’t even see my class schedule, not to say about booking.
What a disappointment.

What is the point of GoldsGym? I just blew 15 minutes creating my account and downloading this. I can’t view my membership and I can’t see any classes for any location!

GoldsGym is terrible for online payments. When you submit a payment it will charge several times for the same amount. You’ll have to keep calling the bank to challenge the additional charges which takes 10 business days to clear.

Why change something for the worst? GoldsGym was fine and then were were told it was going to be better! This update was supposed to be fixed the week of feb 16 and still it doesn’t work. You can not see classes for any location selected! Some others are saying you are being told to pay extra for regular classes! Please fix this already🧐

GoldsGym is slow and I can’t view my membership even after refreshing and closing GoldsGym several times.

GoldsGym is ok but, I don’t understand why I need an additional password for something called MYiCLUB in order to sign up for GGX classes. Makes no sense to me. Get rid of it, no unnecessary extra passwords!

I recently had to switch phones and went to install GoldsGym on my current phone. Unfortunately, could not remember my password and tried clicking on “forgot password.” While it did send me an email, the link to reset the password does not work. Tried “forgot password” once again; sends me yet another useless email where the reset link is broken. Frustrating to say the least.

While I did have GoldsGym on my previous phone, some key items seem to be missing. Such as a waitlist for classes that are already full. Presumably if a considerate person would ‘cancel’ their spot, then we could jump in rather than showing up and waiting in person to see if a spot becomes available...none of us have time to do this.

The other missing alert is that if class is canceled, that the gym have a way to alert those that are signed up via GoldsGym so that they are not wasting time driving to said class. This would be GREATLY appreciated.

GoldsGym does what it’s advertised to do but it could be so much better with a tracker showing how many times you checked in, would also benefit from a crowd meter type feature which shows how crowded the gym is based on how many people have scanned in over the past hour

App works good. But the one thing it needs is a tracker for how many days of the month you go. LA fitness has a check in history that works great. Seems like the only way to do that is to add a workout or record a workout.

The “Add to Apple Wallet” always returns a error “Barcode not added. Please try again later.”

Have tried multiple times to get GoldsGym to work. I have deleted and reinstalled at least twice. Read through all the FAQ. I have been a member of Gold’s for four years. No information aside from name and email is showing. There is no way to contact support. My barcode is not listed and it won’t let me enter information or ask questions. About the only thing I can do is look at class schedules. It won’t let me manage subscription or anything else.

GoldsGym is infuriating it signs you out at the most random times and then when you enter the correct login information, an ambiguous error occurs saying you need to “verify email and password information”. It then won’t let you change your password either. I’ve had to turn around and leave several times because GoldsGym won’t open and let me scan into the gym and I didn’t have my fob. Please fix it!

I wish this application automatically tracked the days I went to the gym instead of me having to input the information on my own. I already check in using my barcode when I go to the gym. 24Hour Fitness application automatically adds that information to GoldsGym without having to log in that information on your own.

To help members who follow particular instructors and specific class at locations, the following improvement would be grand!

1. Filter should have an option to look up an instructor by name, to see time and location for classes

2. Filter should have an option to look up a class I.e. Zumba, Yoga, etc. to see time and location for classes

3. Instructor's name if the instructor no longer teach the class or having a substitute, GoldsGym should reflect the name accordingly.

4. Instructors' last-name is a plus, certain instructors for certain kind of class has different style and level of intensity, knowing who's teaching helps to pick the right class.

Other gyms app already there. Come on Gold's Gym, you can do it!

When I scan in at the front desk it doesn’t sync to GoldsGym regularly. Some times it does it immediately, sometimes later that day, and sometimes not at all. I have a corporate account and have to attend a set amount of days each month to keep my discounted membership. However, when it’s not properly tracking the days I attend aren’t registered. I only use GoldsGym to scan in and sign up for classes. Hopefully things will be changed soon.

With the latest update, it no longer shows classes - the feature that I loved the most because I could add the schedule directly to my calendar - and when I look at my account info it only shows my old/closed account, not the new one that I’m using currently.

I also loved the setting challenges section but nothing seems to be working on it now!!! 🙁

Pros: GoldsGym does track when I go to the gym, have one goal at a time, and can list classes. However, it doesn’t allow me to book classes, which is a huge downside for me. Also, the data from FitBit is VERY inaccurate. It keeps saying I worked out for 24 hours per day, even on days I didn’t work out at all.

Several things I would like to see to make GoldsGym more functional. The ability to check and download check in history and the ability to upload the barcode to Apple wallet. Also to sign up for classes and pay for them with GoldsGym .

GoldsGym looks outdated, it takes a few minutes for it to look up classes schedule, the photo of the people on the home menu looks like they’ve been ripped from a stock image website, and something that seems insanely stupid to me is the fact that THERE’S NO APP FOR APPLE WATCH!!! I can use GoldsGym on my IPad, but NOT an Apple Watch. There should have something for the protein bar, something a kin to to Starbucks app, if not to preorder maybe to find their favorite drinks. It also could benefit from having a dark mode.

Works great when updated for each gym with hours and class times. Needs a compatible watch app so you don’t have to take your phone to the gym to check in. With latest Apple Watch models you can listen to music and check in to gyms without a phone. Golds is lagging behind the competition here.

I like GoldsGym it’s not it works however( I would suggest if at all
Possible is there a way for GoldsGym to maybe keep track of all your workouts and some how keep track of how many calories are burn during the workouts and or during the classes.

Just started using GoldsGym and so far I love it. I need something to push me and by putting it in writing I’m able to hold myself accountable. I can also monitor my progress to see if I can challenge myself each week to do more.

I have been using GoldsGym for 3 months now. Being able to sign up for classes and knowing that I have a workout scheduled helps me to stay motivated. I really like GoldsGym and the classes I can sign up for.

I have had GoldsGym since becoming a Gold's member and haven't had really any issues. The new update, though, changed my expectations ENTIRELY for what a gym app could be. I can see my schedule for the classes I book in one convenient spot!!! I visit several gyms in my area and it was more difficult having to switch locations in the "find classes" button each time. Now, I just hit the schedule button and they're all there! I'm not a naturally organized person, so this is just the kind of help I need to make my weekly plan flow smoothly. Thank you so much!
