Doesn’t Work with iPhone

Have tried over and over to reload WVMetroNews in hopes that it will work. No success. Apparently, the WV Metro News leadership don’t care to update WVMetroNews so it’s compatible with iOS.

I used WVMetroNews consistently for some time, but it quit working some time ago after an iOS update. I withheld a review hoping it would get repaired. Unfortunately there must not be anyone available at MetroNews that has time to fix it. Working from home may not be working for MetroNews.

WVMetroNews no longer allows me to read all of the readers comments. I can’t load the additional comments or replies. I cannot post comments as it won’t allow me to log into Facebook to accomplish that. WVMetroNews has also began to allow pop up ads that really take away the last bit of enjoyment I was receiving from WVMetroNews

I love WVMetroNews but I would love to see that you could watch live broadcasts like the Dana Holgerson show and Bob Huggins show and sport line and high school games!! I would to see that and hopefully to see you guys do that.

I have tried to get WVMetroNews to work. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times but it never works. Am I the only one that has this trouble?

I also have been using WVMetroNews for a long time but now it won’t load on my phone after the 13.4 apple or WVMetroNews has a problem.

Like other users I updated my iPad and now WVMetroNews will not open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but no success. I too hope they get it fixed because I love this WV news source.

WVMetroNews content is fine, but it’s the only app I have that stops the sound from other apps at opening. So if your listening to music from another app, open the MetroNews app, your background music just stops. Fix it please

I have enjoyed getting updates on WV sports on WV Metro News, but recently WVMetroNews comes up to a blank screen? I have deleted WVMetroNews and retried to no avail. I would like to continue to access WVMetroNews, but it needs an update.

I used WVMetroNews for over a year with absolutely no issues. It was great to keep up with the new and sports, both high school and college, from around the state. After the last update, WVMetroNews just quit working. It would start open, then, just stall out and do nothing more. I’m currently uninstalling and going to try to reinstall to see if it fixes the problem. I hope it does, because when WVMetroNews works, I use it multiple times a day.

It appears this is just a browser based app of the WV Metro-news URL that allows you to listen to the shows while WVMetroNews is in the background. It is very simple and does the job it needs to do. If you enjoy the personalities at WV Metro-news, you will enjoy WVMetroNews.

Same as Gerald. Steve bought new iphone 12 and now WVMetronews only gives blank black screen. We have reinstalled, cleared cache. Checked for update. This is his favorite app. Please help
