Perfect System
Purchased system while awaiting back surgery. Can quickly look outside and see what’s going on. Has limited written instructions but the videos and pictures paint a clear picture. It takes no time at all to set this up with the app. Battery life has been great. Keep in mind that when you increase the camera settings, (image quality, duration of recording, etc) of course the batteries are not going to last two years. Come on folks, don’t give negative feedback because of that! Plus the app monitors battery life, and wireless signal strengths. It will also tell you when a camera has high use and alerts you if the battery is low. I will say, the night vision is amazing! I am really impressed of how bright the image is. The camera sensitivity was set to 6 and it was picking up birds flying by. Adjusted it to 5 and it doesn’t, catch them anymore. The mount that came with it are simple. You can tilt up/down and swivel it left and right. The phone notifications of movement is very timely and the camera settings in the app are great. Setting up the cameras are easy and is not rocket science. I have two cameras now and plan to install more in the future.

Common Sense
I usually don’t write reviews but after seeing all the idiotic comments I decide to add my 2cents. I’ll start by saying I love the set up, great cameras that do what it’s supposed to. The new block feature is buggy but it’s still in beta so no surprise there. There’s not much to setting these things up, most problems people had listed sound like user error. The most important thing with the cameras are to make sure you’re getting good signal. You can check your signal on the app. Adjust until you have at least 3 bars for optimum performance. Pair that with lithium batteries and everything will work like a peach. Alkaline batteries make the camera function a lot slower and you can notice decrease in overall performance.

Great system. Impressive if used right.
If you have a strong WiFi signal and know how to adjust app settings with common sense, you won’t have the issues people are complaining about with bad reviews inside here. People, it does record what happens the moment motion is triggered. You have to go to the folder in the top right corner of your app for those recordings. Conversely, if you click the motion notification, it takes you to the “live view”, which is after motion has seized to exist and why you don’t see anything in the camera. Again, go to the folder on top right corner of the app to see what the recorded triggered motion was! For the price, this system is absolutely impressive!
