So traveling to london quite often ive noticed with breakfast the eggs come fried over easy, REAL OVER EASY. There should he a add comment section to the order so you can request over hard or even ask for an extra glass or maybe even no sausage. Random things so you can still use Wetherspoon as intended i.e. not getting up and going to the bar. Other than that its great. Oh and BTW the food in the beaten docket and moon underwater (near edware) needs some work. Dry and old tasting.

A normal procedure for ordering would make the experience perhaps more efficient than excessive technological advancements. I have used Wetherspoon for my entire order, but cannot order a side of Parmesan cheese for my dish unless I go up to the counter and order that small condiment separately and lay for it separately. I would appreciate an atmosphere in which I didn’t feel like I am a walking, breathing itemized bill. Very poorly thought out. This also disincentivizes the waitstaff to be personable and helpful. I will never eat anywhere that uses this app again. Give me a McDonald’s ordering Automat. Better technology and service at McDonald’s for the value.

If you want to change the way a restaurant works, you need to teach the customer the new paradigm. Putting the information that the seated customer must now download an app to order food on a wrinkled T-Shirt that whisks past you infrequently or a T-Shirt of a disinterested person who is too busy having a personal conversation with another person wearing the same wrinkly T-Shirt is probably the least effective way to teach the customer your think-groups new method for ordering food. If we all must wait on ourselves: at least inform us that we must do everything besides cook.

Downloaded Wetherspoon , got the order in, and then went to pay. It didn’t like my American Visa card (not unusual due to the requirement for a signature which is not used in the UK). So I picked an Amex card and got through the ‘verified’ screen. What wasn’t apparent was the OK button that was hidden way down the page with no indicator showing we’d need to scroll down to find. So we kept sitting and waiting and when I went to check to the order found that it hadn’t even been submitted. Eventually we got it figured out but not a fan...

We were unable to personalize our meals easily through Wetherspoon and it took way longer to order through this than it would have if we just were able to talk to a waiter. Not sure why Wetherspoon is being pushed except that it’s a probable attempt to mine data. I shouldn’t have to download an app to eat at a restaurant! Just let me order with a person!

Maybe a great idea if you are a regular to Witherspoon’s but an otherwise pointless gadget that will be deleted from my phone as soon as I leave. During the time it took to find a free table, download Wetherspoon and order, three waiters/waitresses passed by but didn’t look my way. Then, you can’t stagger the order so all arrived almost at the same time and the waiter couldn’t find my table. Know where your tables are people... the only reason I even spent the time to write all this is that my plane is delayed.

The cafe seems ok, but the menu is somewhat limited and Wetherspoon system makes ordering very inflexible—no way, for instance, to indicate “no meat”. Wetherspoon also failed 3 times in the course of submitting a small order. And when one is laden with bags at an airport ordering at the bar is very inconvenient. You still have to go to a coffee bar for coffee, and then all the coffee machines were out of milk. I should have given this place 2 stars.

We have been stupidly waiting in line to order and noticed this sign afterward!! We ordered two pints just to see if it worked... they came out before my friends food! Awesome! We will look for this in the future!

Card doesn’t always scan but heck of an app. I really enjoy wetherspoons and Wetherspoon just makes it that much more enjoyable. Keep doing what y’all doing for real.

You have to enter your credit card when you download Wetherspoon , but when you order, it won’t let you pay with that credit card. You have to take a picture of your card - which did not work in my case - or manually enter the card again. Very frustrating.

Simple to use. Works as expected. Convenient and fast. I can’t get over the affordability. Would love something like this back home in the states. Meets all expectations at the price.

It was very easy to use. I just would’ve liked to pay with cash because I’m traveling overseas and had foreign money but had to use a card or PayPal.

App was easy to find, download, and use. Got to my table, downloaded Wetherspoon , and ordered my food in under 5 minutes. Great model for other restaurants to follow.

I’m from America. I love spoons. I’ve been to 5 different ones and I don’t understand how expensive my night life is at home in comparison. Thank you for doing the lords™️ work.

This makes ordering food and drinks easy and convenient, no need to flag anyone down order and purchase shows up...

Versatile, lively, friendly, and fabulous! Good variety of food, great portions, and quick service with a smile. Fantastic ambiance, too! It’s one (of too many) reasons I love Wellington!

Wetherspoon with its geolocation capability makes it the perfect app for ordering food at ‘spoons. Really easy to use and allows for Apple Pay.

Missed out having the expertise of the service staff to ask questions, favorites , or changes . Unable to add a side of something once items added to cart . A lost opportunity to make a connection in a foreign country.

For solo travelers, this is perfect. These pubs are always busy, you can find your table and then order. They don't have every guest ale listed on Wetherspoon , but that's a small inconvenience.

Such a terrible idea to make the customer do all the work. At least offer a discount if you’re going to force them to sign away their private information and do all the work themselves.

Wasn’t even sure how or when the food would show up. When it did the wrapped up silverware had old dried food stuck to it. Thanks gatwick whetherspoon

I rarely review apps, but Wetherspoon is great! Everything just works and is intuitive. I downloaded and ordered in just a couple of minutes, which was faster than my friend who went and ordered at the bar. Good work!
