The mobile application is free to download for the cardholders whose card number starts with 533248. You need to register again with your card details prior to logging in the first time. Please Note: If your card begins with 511563 DO NOT download this app. Please look in the app store for the yellow Direct Express® logo with a description stating that the app is for cards which start with the numbers 511563. When you sign up to receive your federal benefits on the Direct Express® card, you will receive your payment every month without having to worry about cashing your check or having it lost or stolen. Instead of receiving a check, your money will be automatically deposited to your Direct Express® card account on payment day. You can use your card to make purchases at stores that accept Debit MasterCard®, withdraw cash from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), and get cash back when you make purchases. You can also use your debit card online to make payments and to also buy money orders at the U.S. Post Office.
I have been using this app over a little over 3 years now and when I say the app has gotten the slight upgrade that I’m pretty sure we all wanted. I’m happy with the little changes they did and now I don’t have to use a password everytime I want to log in 🥲 Hopefully they keep adding things like disputing and all of that so you won’t have to call and be on hold so long because nobody wants to sit and wait for a agent over 30 minutes. But thank you for what you have done.
Im in love with this upgraded version of the app. 10/10 wayy better than the original app.

This performance of this app has been frustrating. I spent the time to set up fingerprint ID, but the app doesn’t recognize me and has some random info “saved”. It won’t allow me to change it. It also doesn’t provide information regarding pending deposits, at least not now. Hopefully will be updated soon.
Was prompted to download the new app when logging on to check account status. New app downloaded. Account log in made on Direct Express site. Unable to login using credentials.
