  4. Next, tap on Simple (subscription) you want to review.
  5. Now, Tap on Cancel.
    (Note that if you don't see a "Cancel Subscription" button for Simple: Intermittent Fasting, then it's definitely canceled already. It won't be renewed anymore).




How to Cancel Simple: Intermittent Fasting Subscription on your Android device

To cancel Simple subscription on Android, you need to realize that deleting the Simple app alone won't cut it. Follow the steps below:

  1. First, open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you're signed into the right one.
  2. Click on menu, then go to "Subscriptions".
  3. Choose the Simple: Intermittent Fasting subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the "Cancel Subscription" option.
  4. Finish up as directed.

Once your Simple subscription has been removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be cancelled and won't be renewed anymore.



How do I remove my Card from Simple?

Removing card details from Simple if you subscribed directly is very tricky. Very few websites allow you to remove your card details. So you will have to make do with some few tricks before and after subscribing on websites in the future.

Before Signing up or Subscribing:

How to Cancel Simple: Intermittent Fasting Subscription on a Mac computer.

To cancel Simple subscription on your Mac, do the following:


  1. First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
  3. Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".
  4. Click "Edit" beside the Simple: Intermittent Fasting app and then click on "Cancel Subscription".

Note: Always make sure to use the exact username and ID you used to set up the subscription to manage that subscription when necessary. This is sometimes different from the Apple ID or Android brand ID you have set up.

If you don't remember your password however, contact the App for help/to reset password.


How to Cancel Simple: Intermittent Fasting Subscription on Paypal.

To cancel your Simple subscription on PayPal, do the following:

  1. First log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com .
  2. Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
  3. Press "Payments" from the menu provided to you and click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
  4. You'll be shown a series of merchants' agreement you've transacted before. Click on "Simple: Intermittent Fasting" or "AM APPS" to cancel.
  5. You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the "Cancel Automatic Payments" tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to Simple: Intermittent Fasting.
  6. Then click "Done" on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.




What to do if you subscribed directly on Simple's website?

Here's how to cancel your Simple subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.

Sometimes, you may start a subscription directly on a company's website without using an extra layer of security like Paypal or Apple. To unsubscribe, you might have to sign into Simple's website or directly reach out to their payments provider.

Generally, here are some steps you can take if you find yourself in that fix:

  1. Finding the company's information, then reach out to them directly: Get all Simple's contact details here

  2. If the company has an app they developed in the Appstore, you can try contacting AM APPS (the app developer) for help through the details of the app.

How to delete Simple account

You might have created an account on Simple during the course of using the app. Many apps make it so easy to signup but a nightmare to delete your account. We try to make it easier but since we don't have information for every app, we can only do our best.


Generally, here are some steps you can take if you need your account deleted:

Delete Simple: Intermittent Fasting from iPhone.

To delete Simple from your iPhone, Follow these steps:

  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Simple: Intermittent Fasting until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Simple: Intermittent Fasting app from your phone.

Method 2:

Go to Settings and click on General then click on "iPhone Storage". You will then scroll down to see the list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. Tap on the app you want to uninstall and delete the app.

For iOS 11 and above:

Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.

  1. First open the Google Play app, then press the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.
  2. After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
  3. You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.
  4. Now choose Simple: Intermittent Fasting, then click on "uninstall".
  5. Also you can specifically search for the app you want to uninstall by searching for that app in the search bar then select and uninstall.

    Seems like this company is a SCAM. I'll be contacting Google Play and Apple to suggest removing the App from their store.

    Their customer service responses are clearly 'boiler plate'.

    It would have been simple to provide a refund and cancel my account, after telling me what company this automatic charge is for. I've been very ill as a COVID long-hauler. Didn't even remember what this company was.

    I've been MANY comments of people trying to cancel within their 7 days timeframe to no avail. AND many complaints about the system.

    Wouldn't surprise me if their positive reviews aren't all fake.

    I cancelled this subscription before the 7 day free trial had ended. I cancelled the app on my phone as I could find no other way to do so.
    I got a message that it was cancelled.

    However I later received an email from Simple that I was being charged for the subscription. I responded to the email that I had already cancelled it and that I wanted a refund. Their response was to ask me if I had received a confirmation email of cancellation.
    I said I did not get an email but only got a message on my phone. So clearly this is a rip off!

    What's even more annoying is that I keep getting messages on my phone eg. reminders to drink water or start my fast. I want these to stop.
    I have looked for a phone number in the hopes of speaking to a person to resolve this issue but cannot find one.

    The number of reported fraudulent charges is absurd!! I feel like I'm trapped. Everything everyone is saying is absolutely true, cancelled - still charged; no subscription showing - still charged; can't even use the app - still charged!! And what's WORST than not providing a phone number for customer support? By repeatedly saying "If you have any comments or questions on any part of the services or any part of these Terms of Use, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]" ... WHEN THEY DON'T ANSWER THEIR EMAILS. Other than filing a dispute through paypal, I've tried reaching out to apple support. My only other recourse is to stop payment via my bank account.

    In Sept 2020 I signed up for the free trial and downloaded the app on my iPhone, and was satisfied enough to go for a year's subscription. Somehow in the initial registration on their website BOTH my EUR Apple account and my USD PayPal account were billed after 1 week, but I didn't notice the dupe immediately, because I only buy 2-3 things a year on these accounts, so only reconcile them occasionally (lesson learned). Discovering the error I contacted customer service, and over several weeks of email exchanges spent hours trying to show them they made a bookkeeping/technical mistake. The customer service skills were abominable - not acknowledging my experience at all or concerned about doing the right thing. Just deflecting with the "30-day refund policy" which is written to address quality issues, not billing errors. Neither payment provider (Apple or PayPal) could revoke the extra payment either by the time I noticed. In the course of my correspondence the CS rep told me my renewal had been cancelled, yet I was charged for a new annual subscription this past week. I've disputed it with Paypal and have now filed complaints with my country's and the EU's consumer complaint bureaus.
    The app itself is a reasonably good tool if you already have a year or more experience with fasting for health under a doctor/nutritionist's coaching and aren't just using it to change who you are or following the latest trends. The nudging to go longer than 12 hours on a regular/daily basis is not healthy. 12h is a good "norm" with great benefits and longer periods should be suggested with more caution - you can really ruin your health if you fast too much long term. While the company and its founders seemed to have a good intention in creating this app (I researched all of them) they are really burying themselves with this terrible treatment of customers.

    In a weak moment I responded to this predatory advertising. Immediately after signing up I replied to the confirmation email that I wanted to cancel and did not wish to subscribe. I was just charged again. When I requested a refund I was told that I had not canceled properly. I never used the app not once and have paid $89.     I tried the simple app which honestly wasn’t all that great… i was expecting much more of it With a $60 subscription plan. The free app zero gives you the same exactly tools for free.

    I thought after a few weeks i had cancelled my membership correctly. That is my fault… however after contacting customer support within minutes of my account being charged. I was told no refund would be provided…and they just spit out some auto generated bullshit about cancellation and dates of billing.

    Don’t use Simple. Go use Zero app! Free and same stuff provided!

At the end of February I was charge $72.20 in U.S currency, that's $106 in Canadian fund. Simple life has state that they have emailed pricing and next charged date. Which I never received that emailed.

    Today May 19, 22 Simple Life decided to charge me again at $ 72.20 for the monthly subscription. I have finally canceled my subscription today. What I don't understand and make absolutely no sense to me. They charge me at the end of February. Not charge me for the next two months. All sudden decided to charge me for the May month. I'm totally not happy and would like a full refund back. This is one expensive subscription. WHY HELL would I want to pay for something I didn't bother using in the first place. Please give me my refund back.

    Intermittent Fasting ROCKS!

    I inadvertently practiced intermittent fasting in the past and experienced incredible results! While it was a great time in my life, I didn’t know that I was intermittent fasting so I did not stick with it. I was looking for something to help me live a healthier lifestyle this year and I luckily discovered this app on January 1st! So far, I’m loving the accountability it gives me. It feels like it’s helping me change my mindset around food. I love the educational aspect of the app and the articles are informational and interesting. I find that I can’t wait to see the articles for the next day! Almost everything about this app feels like it’s going to stick and help me stay consistent. Right now, the ONLY THING I would recommend to the developers is the ability to input custom water bottle sizes. I have a 20 oz bottle that I drink from but 20 oz is not an option. I know I could add 5 4 oz drinks but it would just be easier to add a custom water bottle instead. But other than that, loving this app!

    easy to use and great info

    I got this app and paid the Christmas Special. This app is very unique to intermittent fasting. You can log your meal, hunger level, and start/end of fast. Not only does it tracks your fast - it lets you know what is happening to your body as you fast which is super cool. There are also quotes and helpful articles. So far I have used the app for 4 days and lost 4 lbs. If you consider your self as a religious person read on: I decided to get this app because I decided to do fasting for health and religious reasons. Though the functionality, articles, and quotes are great, It does talk about evolution. I don’t not believe in this. I simply digest what I think is appropriate and move forward. Maybe one day the user can indicate specifics on what articles they would like to read in the initial status when creating their profile. Still, love the information portrayed especially in an easy and fun manner to read. Well worth it. 😎

    I love it to far - those people think it’s a scam, it’s your fault you didn’t read the print

    When I read the fine print, it says 7 days trial then you get charge after. There were three options: 15 dollars a month, 35 dollars a year and 30 dollars a year Christmas special. After the trial, you’ll have to cancel or else you get charge. Simple as that! Don’t blame the owner because you did not read the terms and conditions. It’s just like ordering a hot coffee without thinking it’s hot before sipping it. Come on people use your common sense! Anyways, this is a good strategy when it comes to self control. I love this since it’s so specific and it guides you really well on how to fast the right way. It will teach you what you can and can’t have during fasting day. I recommend this to all people who want to lose weight and who want to learn self control. Thanks for making this app for us!

    Awesome- a different kind of fasting app

    So originally I gave this app 3 stars bc I didn’t understand it very well. There are some obvious things that I didn’t have to think about to use. But I found it hard to update, etc. However after I received the developers response to my review I realized I had been using the app incorrectly. The other fasting apps that I use are very basic and simple, there is no depth to them, and everything is available on one page. Which is great for quick fasting tracking. But what I liked about this app was it had more things going on with it for an overall health review. I even found it fun to use. But while there are the basic features available it’s within sections of the app that I didn’t realize to utilize. So I moved this to 5 stars because it really is a fun take on fasting tracking and meal logging.

    That app is so good and keep a routine in your life marking the hours that u ate to how much time you will eat after that is so amazing and can help it’s not a diet app but helps u a lot when it’s time to eat and when its not they ask question if the food was healthy that is amazing the person who is reading this u should download this app it’s sooo amazing and like oh I ate a food and was just a snack and my mom is going to the the lunch and my app says it’s not time to eat so that a easy question u can just put that it was time to eat it’s right they won’t care and they don’t need to care it’s your life but this app it’s so amazing u should download no kidding
