On June 11, 2023 I signed up for “Simple Intermittent Fasting” through an ad on my iPhone. The trial sign up was for one week for $1.00. I tried their program for one week and didn’t lose a pound. They advertised their program was guaranteed. At the end of the week I tried to communicate with “Simple”. I contacted them via text they had communicated to me all week. I wrote that I wanted to cancel the subscription. I received an answer in German. I replied that I didn’t speak German and to please contact me in English on my phone number 610-470-0369 or email me at mitzimc@redacted. I received no response. On Monday, June 19 I received an S&T Fraud Alert asking if I authorized a $79.20 payment to PayPal Simpleapp2 with my debt card. I responded “NO”. S&T temporarily locked my card. I immediately called PayPal and they directed me to contact the merchant which was not an easy process. The representative, Adriana, gave me a number to fax my complaint. I do not have a fax machine. There is no call center to easily call and cancel you subscription. This is fraud!
